What is your favorite store to shop at?

I am sure everyone is listing clothing stores but

to be very honest.. for me it would have to be...

but I am lazy so I shop from home a lot.. but its still my #1 pick!

How did you come up with your blog name?

I actually changed it a few times in the beginning...but I have been a stay at home wife and mother for a long time now and I knew I wanted to incorporate that in the name...and I also come from a big French family which my grandfather was very proud of. I thought the 2 would be great together and then to add some sparkle.. why not be glamorous at the same time!

1. What is your favorite kind of surprise?

I would have to say any surprise where there is a trip involved is my favorite! I love to travel!

It's normally always both in my house but if I had to pick between the two I would have to go for →

3. What is your favorite summertime activity?

Swimming with the kids! Isn't that a cute picture of Jackson!? I love it! 

4. Do you have any vacations planned this Summer?

Well we have to go get Zane in Louisiana but that's not really a vacation. I don't think we will be going anywhere this summer but we will be doing a lot of local stuff. Plus we have a move planned. So its going to be a busy summer!

5. Favorite Summer Holiday?

The 4th of July is always a fun time! 

6. Dream Vacation?

I would looooove to go to Atlantis in the Bahamas.. Yes please!

Pretty much the same thing I am doing now. Being married, raising kids, breeding Persian cats and blogging! I have been a stay at home wife and mother for a long time now...not every day is exciting but I love being home with my family.

1. 4 favorite things to do on a weekend: 

1. Sleep in...Wake up without an alarm clock! But it also happens in the summer too which is just around the corner!

2. Spend time with my family....On the weekends we are normally all together which I loooove! 

3. Sunday dinner..... its always nice and I look forward to it every week! 

4. Blog of course....but you guys know I blog everyday!

Did you sleepwalk as a child?

No.. Never. It was always hard falling asleep but I never got up and slept walked. I can't think of one person in our family that does that. 

Did you ever try to run away or sneak out of your house?

Oh God yes! I use to sneak out all the time! Clearly I didn't like my curfew!! 

I remember my friends mom took all of our shoes one time hoping to keep us in the house...but it didn't work.. it was summer so we sneaked out with bare feet and stayed that way all night! My grandfather also put these little bars on the windows to keep me in.. which didn't work either because I figured out how to take them off and on.. so I could get out and get back in with no one knowing.. BUT.. my mom got smart and got an alarm.. I really thought I was trapped.. however I had a great idea that I would leave the window open before she set the alarm that particular night and I would be good to go. Do you know that damn alarm told her my window was open!? My sneaking out days were ended thanks to ADT! It was the only thing that worked to keep me in at night!

What is your shopping weakness?

Make up of course! 

I buy a lot more drugstore than high end anymore but there are some nicer products that I just don't want to live without!

1. Favorite kind of work- out to do. 

Well.. My favorite is none at all! However, walking is ok..and I also think some yoga would have to be my favorites if I am going to work out!

1. What is one movie you are terrified to watch? 

Omg.. there are so many.. I would have to say that 

all the Saw movies bother me. I just don't watch many horror films. No thanks. 

2. What is one TV show you have always wanted to get into but haven’t yet?

Scandal for sure! 

3. What is one daring activity on your bucket list?

Travel the world. 

4. Would you ever travel alone?

I could totally travel alone. I think I would be just fine but that doesn't mean I would want to travel alone. Life is better when you have someone to share it with. 

Here we are in Mexico! 

5. What activities do you like to do alone?

For me.. I clean better when I am alone. I seem to always get more done when its just me. I also like to work on the computer in a quiet house  There is always so much going on around here that I have to re read every email.. blog post.. and status update because sometimes I will take parts of our conversation and add them in.. without even realizing it. Does this happen to anyone else?But my favorite thing to do alone is....

relax! I look forward to it every night and love every minute!

Time for another Sunday Social! 

1. Best Valentine’s Day you’ve ever had:

That's hard to say. Scott and I have had a lot of great Valentines's Days together! One year we were in Tennessee for Valentines Day ...in a beautiful cabin

Actually we were supposed to be there for a week. The first couple of days I remember thinking how big the cabin was just for Scott and I. We were working on the road at the time and anytime we came off.. we would just go rent a cabin. We loved it.. we did all of our own cooking and it was a nice change. But that particular time we were there for 2 or 3 days and then we got an emergency phone call that a family member was in the hospital.. and it was serious. So our week was cute short but the first few days was amazing!

1. What was your first car? 

Mustang GT. 

I didn't think I was going to get it.. My grandmother thought it was too much car for me but my grandfather liked making me =) so he got it... and drove it home! I was sleeping in the basement that morning and woke up to the sound of a really loud motor.. and I knew instantly that I got the car I wanted! That little car was like a army tank. I wrecked it so many times and my family just kept putting it back together!

1. If you were stuck on an island what are the two material items you would want to have?

I don't know if the Survival Guy counts as a material item or not... but he's who I would want out there because he pretty much knows it all.. and that's probably the only way I would survive!
