How did you come up with your blog name?

I actually changed it a few times in the beginning...but I have been a stay at home wife and mother for a long time now and I knew I wanted to incorporate that in the name...and I also come from a big French family which my grandfather was very proud of. I thought the 2 would be great together and then to add some sparkle.. why not be glamorous at the same time! 

What is your favorite thing about blogging.

Hands Down...documenting our lives. I have this weird compulsion to document as much as I can about our lives. I love it and I love having a place to hold all our memories in a "electronic" kind of way. Some people have even suffered from 

hypergraphia

Who knows.. but I feel its important. Don't get me wrong.. I still journal like a mad woman and have no plans on slowing down. I hope my great great grandchildren will be able to get to know me through my writings and videos! And I love you guys. It wouldn't be the same without such wonderful readers. Thank you. 

What is one thing you have discovered because of blogging and now cant live without?

Inspiration.. it's every where. I seriously learn all kinds of new tricks and tips because of you guys! Blogging is such a wonderful support system within its self. You guys have picked me up when I was feeling down.. Inspired me when I could think of a post to write. Taught me countless lessons throughout the years.. its been wonderful...you give me inspiration on every level possible.  

Facebook or Twitter? and why?

Facebook. Idk why but I love it so much more than Twitter. I guess its because more of my friends are on facebook than twitter. I still use twitter but facebook is where you can find me the most. 

If one celeb read your blog who would you want it to be?

Gwyneth Paltrow....I love her! I know she is bit of a snob but I still love her and I love her blog → Goop← and I would love to have her visit anytime! 

What is something you want people to know about your blog?

I think I would like everyone { new and old friends } to know that this blog and my youtube channel are extensions of ME...and this blog means a lot to me. It holds a very special place in my heart for all the memories it holds. I honestly didn't follow through with a lot of parts of my life. I started something.. got bored.. moved on but its been 5 years now since I started this blogging project. The first few years I was on myspace and then switched to blogger. For a few years I kept things pretty simple.. I didn't have any ways to follow except by email and then this past year I finally added GFC.. and I got over 500 new bloggy friends in 1 year! I was shocked.. while this blog is not huge as many others are.. I am still in awe of all the people who come back and share our lives with us. I thank you for the sweet comments and emails. I find the blogging community very kind and loyal. I hope to keep this up for a very looooong time....and I hope this blog gives you a few minutes to escape and share a few minutes with me either on a beauty post, video, or family post.. there's something for everyone! And don't forget to leave a comment and say hi ..so I can check out your blogs too! Ohhhh.. and hop over here and get entered for this adorable apron..
