2015 Travel Series: His & Her Carry On Organization | Video |

Hello friends! I hope your day is going well. Around here its been a day of thunder and no rain. The sun is out but the sky is grumbling and before long, it will probably be pouring down. Perfect for a day at the desk with a steaming cup of hot tea. Anyway, I am back sharing another one of our Travel Series Videos. This time I am sharing how I packed Scott and my carry on luggage. Everyone is different packs different. However, some of the items in our carry on really made a huge difference in organization which were also space saving. You can check out all the new and old luggage that we were using and loving right here. Hopefully some time in August I will have some reviews up of some of the new luggage that we used. And by the way...I am sorry for the blurry picture. I must have deleted it and just used a screen capture from youtube. :)

Summer is the time for travel for so many of us as well as holiday travel. So hopefully a few of the tips and tricks in the video will help make your travels easier too! Hope you enjoy!

Everyone packs different and I totally understand those trips when there is no planning... just packing and getting out of the door as fast as possible. However, life is so much easier when you plan and organize. While we were on vacation, I was so happy to know I had everything I needed. Getting Home & Back to Normal DITL Vlog: June 27, 2015

Hello friends! I hope your having a fantastic Friday! It's kinda gloomy here and looks like it is going to rain any minute but that's ok. We need it! Anyway, I am back sharing our last Day in the life vlog. It the last little time on the ship, our journey home and getting caught up with life again. This video will bring you current. So as you can see I made a big change in my hair. It's no longer light. Scott really wanted it dark. I heard about it many times on the ride home so I decided to try to make him happy. I was in total shock after it was made darker but I am trying to get use to it. Thank you guys so much for all your sweet comments on social media about it. These past few days I have been trying to get caught up with everything from the house, to my planner, to computer and video work. I have a new checklist that seems to really be helping so maybe I will share it eventually. But I have been working hard on answering emails and comments. Plus update this blog of mine! So it's been a lot but thanks for hanging in there with me! I should have Friday Letters up later this evening. Be sure to come back and visit! xx

Ahoy! DITL Vlog: June 24, 2015 Carnival Cruise!

Hello friends! I hope your Thursday is going well! I have had a calmer kind of day with the exception of getting my hair done ( you can check it out here ) and a little shopping. I jumped out of bed this morning before 8am and even got in a quick afternoon nap! I guess I am just getting older. Naps help sometimes! Now I am moving into the evening recharged and ready for the night ahead. I am back sharing another Day in the Life Vlog. This was our full day at sea on the way home. I was really ready to go home at this point. But we did have a good time with each other and our family. Hope you enjoy!

2015 Travel Series: His & Her Luggage Organization

Hello friends. I hope you are having a wonderful night. I am back sharing another 2015 Travel Series Video with you guys. All these videos went up on my youtube channel while we were on vacation so I am trying to catch up. This video shows you how I packed Scott and my luggage up. Everyone packs differently...but this is the way it works for us. Hopefully you can get some tips that might make packing easier for you. Hope you enjoy! 

As you can see the packing cubes and envelopes were a great help. They make all the difference with packing a lot of items. It kept us organized while on vacation and really made life a lot easier! Grand Cayman! DITL Vlog: June 24, 2015

Good evening friends! I hope all is well. I am still on the catching up wagon..hence, the double videos and blog post. Here is our day in the life vlog from our time in Grand Cayman. This was Day 3 on the boat. Hope you enjoy!

By the way, I didn't really get drunk... I was just joking with Scott when I said that. :) I don't really drink. I think I had one glass of wine during that fancy dinner and that was it. But I didn't mind others drinking and having fun. They weren't driving. Anyway, I hope you guys are enjoying seeing bits and pieces of our trip. I know that the camera was a bit shaky at parts. Please understand walking around and vlogging is shaky. There is really not much that I can do about it. I am taking you around, going up and down steps and such...it's just part of it. 2015 Travel Series: Pre Packing Prep Work for Travel | Video |

Hello friends! Happy Monday to you all. With all the videos I have to post on here that are already up on youtube, plus the new daily vlogs for this week; I am skipping the Week in Review Blog Post. Instead, I have a new 2015 Travel Series Video plus later today there will be another vlog up! I just have so much online work to do after being gone....it's going to take a little while to catch up. I thought for my 2015 Travel Series, I would include some packing videos to share how I get us ready for a trip. This video goes into the planning before packing. I know there are times in all of our lives when a trip is not planned and you just got to toss stuff in a big and get out of the door as quick as possible. I get that. It's happened more than once in my own life but today I am sharing some pre travel prep work that is so helpful when you have time to plan. This is how I get ready for a trip...when time allows. Hope you enjoy.

The Ship has Sailed! 2015 Carnival Cruise DITL Vlog: June 22 - 23, 2015

Hello friends! I am happy to report we are back on land. :) Currently I am in the car heading home and very thankful for the wifi in here. It's amazing to be able to work on my laptop while Scott drives us home. Yesterday we were just too tired to drive all the way up so we stopped and got some rest. At this point we only have a couple of hours to go. And I am so excited to see all the animals! Our housesitter said they were all doing great though. So I am back sharing a new Day in the Life Vlog from the first couple of days of our vacation! We had a very large group and I don't think I have a picture of us all other, even the one above doesn't have everyone in our party. Also the camera is a bit shaky...sorry in advance but the boat was a little rocky at times! Hope you enjoy.

I will be putting up a vlog each day sharing our vacation with our family. :) I also have a bunch of new travel series videos that will be popping up in between the vlogs. Travel Series 2015: Quick Budget Travel Tips | Video |

Hellooooo friends! Happy Friday to you all. :) I am not sure if I will get Friday Letters up today or not but maybe this evening I will try. Today is the busiest day of all so far so I don't have a lot of time to be at the computer. However, I am back right now sharing another 2015 Travel Series Video.
