DITL Vlog: Girls ONly Trip! Biltmore Day 2! :)

Happy Monday friends! I normally do a big week in review post on Monday's but we are still kinda off schedule blogging wise. Instead, I am sharing a new Day in the Life Vlog from my girl only trip with Brittany. We were able to escape last week and head to Ashville, NC to the Biltmore. It was such a lovely trip. Scott had to work and couldn't go but I am sure he would have loved it just as much if he went too. This was a long day, so it's a long vlog. I thought about it, and decided to go ahead and put everything in one video. I am not going to post a new video tomorrow in case you can only watch 30 minutes or so; you can pause and come back tomorrow and finish it up. Hope you enjoy! 

Hopefully by next Monday we will be back on a regular schedule around here. I do have a lot of to dos this week and really need to get busy before school starts in a few weeks for Jackson. There is more back to school shopping, registering kids in school, and maybe even a trip down south if all goes as planned. So it's a busy time in our home...like many of yours! :) A new school year brings a new fresh start...which I actually like. I will be back blogging and sharing daily again...and there are a lot of videos that have not even been posted. So I have a lot to catch up on. How was your weekend? DITL VLOG: Girls only Trip! Biltmore Day 1 :)

Happy Saturday friends! I hope you guys are having a great weekend. Sorry it's been a couple of days but I have been busy! Brittany is here and we decided to just go on a little road trip to the Biltmore House in Ashville NC. I had been before but she had not and it's such a nice estate where we could spend a few days. Scott had to work so we left him at home and took off on our little adventure! I recorded a vlog each day and will be sharing them all in the coming days. We already did day 1 of school shopping which you can see here if you haven't already and here is day one at Biltmore. Hope you enjoy! 

I have a ton of pictures which I will show in time. She is not leaving until tomorrow morning so today is finishing up school shopping and spending our last night together. I hate seeing her go back to her dads but that's where she is happiest where she can be in her school with her best friends...and cheerleading. And I can't just can't take that away from her. See why I am ready to move back? We have a few things to handle with our other kids before we can make a big change like that but that move looks like it will be happening in the future sometime. Getting Home & Back to Normal DITL Vlog: June 27, 2015

Hello friends! I hope your having a fantastic Friday! It's kinda gloomy here and looks like it is going to rain any minute but that's ok. We need it! Anyway, I am back sharing our last Day in the life vlog. It the last little time on the ship, our journey home and getting caught up with life again. This video will bring you current. So as you can see I made a big change in my hair. It's no longer light. Scott really wanted it dark. I heard about it many times on the ride home so I decided to try to make him happy. I was in total shock after it was made darker but I am trying to get use to it. Thank you guys so much for all your sweet comments on social media about it. These past few days I have been trying to get caught up with everything from the house, to my planner, to computer and video work. I have a new checklist that seems to really be helping so maybe I will share it eventually. But I have been working hard on answering emails and comments. Plus update this blog of mine! So it's been a lot but thanks for hanging in there with me! I should have Friday Letters up later this evening. Be sure to come back and visit! xx

Ahoy! DITL Vlog: June 24, 2015 Carnival Cruise!

Hello friends! I hope your Thursday is going well! I have had a calmer kind of day with the exception of getting my hair done ( you can check it out here ) and a little shopping. I jumped out of bed this morning before 8am and even got in a quick afternoon nap! I guess I am just getting older. Naps help sometimes! Now I am moving into the evening recharged and ready for the night ahead. I am back sharing another Day in the Life Vlog. This was our full day at sea on the way home. I was really ready to go home at this point. But we did have a good time with each other and our family. Hope you enjoy!

Cozumel Mexico: DITL Vlog! June 25, 2015 Carnival Cruise

Hello friends! I was suppose to get this vlog up yesterday but time slipped away from me. So sorry. So here is our vlog from the time on the Carnival Cruise June 25, 2015. This is our trip To Cozumel Mexico. Now before you hit the play button, please know I am not a huge fan of Mexico and I said it. HOWEVER that does not mean I don't love all my Mexico subscribers. I am simply not a fan of hot spicy food, being pulled into their shops, and so forth. Its a beautiful place. No doubt about it. Please don't take it serious. I am not Donald Trump...and I am allowed to not like everywhere I go. I am not a huge fan of New York either but I love my Yankee subscribers! :) It's silly for anyone to be offended because I don't particularly like an area in this big world. Enough said.. hope you enjoy the video!

Oh... and just so you know, my mom booked the cruise. Otherwise I would have picked another location. But it was more about being with our friends and family than the detestation. It's been a busy few days around here just trying to get back into the swing of things. Hopefully I will be on here a little later sharing a new packing video! xx

Hellooooo friends! Happy Friday to you all. :) I am not sure if I will get Friday Letters up today or not but maybe this evening I will try. Today is the busiest day of all so far so I don't have a lot of time to be at the computer. However, I am back right now sharing another 2015 Travel Series Video. Helloooooo! From Myrtle Beach...

Hello friends! I just wanted to take a few minutes while I have the time to say hello. We are still at Myrtle Beach however tonight is the last night before we head home and start a new school year. I love the ocean. I love everything about it and I hate the thought of leaving. I am ready to start house hunting and move but real life is waiting on us at home. This trip has really been nice for all the kids but really the little kids have made use of everything at this resort. It was the first time ever that Jackson has ever had this kind of trip where he doesn't have to be with us every minute and both boys have done great. No trouble...back on time... cute notes letting me know what is going on...dinner together every night and lights off at mid night. I have loved watching them have so much fun! I think everyone has made a ton of great memories so far and we are not going away easy. I am sure tonight will be filled with lots of entertainment, good food, and even better company. Tomorrow we are checking out and heading to the Aquarium before heading back. I wish all the little kids could be here but maybe next year we can plan another trip where all the kids can be here. I wasn't too crazy about the hotel we are in but I quickly realized no one cares about the room. We have hardly been in it and when we are....we are simply outside on the deck watching the waves crash into the shore. So I would probably stay here again even if the room wasn't exactly what I had hoped. I can't believe summer is almost over and school is starting back in a matter of hours. How crazy is that!? Anyway, we are heading down to the boardwalk and pavilion.

I can't wait...it should be an amazing night! I wish you all were here with us! Have a great weekend. I have another video popping up later tomorrow! Thanks for stopping by. We will be back home tomorrow. :(
