Quick Spring Clothing Haul! | Video |

Hello friends! I know we are a little late night but I promised I would share this video...so here I am! So here lately, spring has been in the air around our house. We have been sprucing up the patio, planting flowers, lighting up the grill, and I even did a little clothes shopping along the way! I didn't want to spend too much but I did need a few new spring/summer pieces...You can check out what I got in the video below. Hope you enjoy! 

I think the pieces I showed you will work great for easy wear around the house on a every day kind of basis. I want pieces that were comfy, loose, and light because the summers get so hot here. Birthday Haul | Video |

Hello friends! I hope you are having a wonderful Thursday. I have been staying up on the second floor today cleaning it up. I normally don't like to work by floors but yesterday I cleaned the 1st floor really well and today is the 2nd floor. So I am breaking right now to share with you a recent birthday haul. Scott and I went and did some shopping and I thought I would share what I got. It's spring after all....and time for a wardrobe update! Hope you enjoy! 

As I mentioned in the video, I got a huge stack of new books also for my birthday. I will be back this weekend sharing that with you guys so you can see my spring and summer reads. I wanted to take a little more time to devote to what I am reading and why. So stay tuned!

I have to get back to dealing with the massive amount of clothes our family has. I try really hard to take one old thing out whenever a new piece is added but it doesn't always work. So I am doing a huge clothes over haul of sorts and I stop for long or I might not start again! Ha! I hope you guys are having a beautiful and blessed afternoon. Back to School Haul Part 1 | VIDEO |

Hello friends! I have another busy day in front of me...meeting a new cleaning lady and registering Jackson in school this evening. School showed up so fast this year for many. We still have a little time left being Jackson doesn't start school until August 18, 2014. This is the first haul of at least 3 if not 4 that will be popping in over the next few days. This haul was purchased by my ex husband and my daughter for Jackson. It was really nice and Jackson is happy with what he got. We still have more to buy but he certainly made things a little easier this year! Hope you enjoy.

Spring 2014 Fashion Haul! VIDEO

Some people think I had this speedy recovery Wednesday but the truth of it is... I took 3 loratabs while we were out and being in the car was not easy or comfortable. However, I had a good time with him and we both ended up getting a lot. It wasn't too hard walking around but I bet I took over an hour slowly trying everything on! A few days ago, husby and I decided to take our holiday gift cards and went shopping! I spent some of mine on Jackson and I mostly got shirts. Scott got a new suit and some new work clothes. I don't do a lot of shopping.. I have a ton of clothes already and I work at home so I don't really shop for clothes a lot. Mall Clothes Haul! [ Video ]

I don't do a ton of clothes shopping anymore. Through out the years, I have tried to buy more classic pieces that be wore in many ways for many years. I had a few things I needed so husby and I went shopping together! This was filmed a few weeks ago.. but I thought I would share what I got! I skipped showing what Scott got to save time but he told me he would show you guys if you wanted to see it!

Summer Dress Shopping!!

Last Tuesday husby and I took some time to go shopping. We both enjoy going out for a day of shopping.. and while we hit up some cool consignment shops, we also hit up the mall! We both found some great deals!! Here are the dresses I got!



I found this black cotton dress at Belk.. and liked the simplicity..

Its " V " neck.. with a

Straight back.. I tried this on and really like the way it looked on and also liked how soft it was.

My next dress I got was this grey and yellow mini that

I got at

Old Navy. I loved the colors and I think

the pleats look great in the front!

However the back is a halter kind of

back and looks good on. I doubt I will wear a normal bra with this. I prefer a strapless with dresses like these and this dress was also really comfortable!

Both dresses were under $20 each.. so really good bargain. I love a cotton dress for spring and/or summer. Nothing feels as good on! I also love long Maxi dresses but these are a bit shorter so I feel I can do a little more in these rather than in a long dress.

These couple of dresses, has put me in the spring fever shopping mood!! I can't wait to go find more summer clothes! =) If you want to check out my other buys from that day, including 2 more purses, click here!

New 2012 Bathing Suit

I have NEVER been a fan of running around in a swim suit. Even when I was size 2 it was never just easy for me showing all that skin. I just can't do it.. Since the kids have been born and I have had to be at the pools a lot more.. I normally get my bathing suits at JC Penny. I think for the last 10 years that is where I have shopped for swim wear. But the other day, I was shopping in Walmart and saw a suit that I actually really liked..

Here it is..

There are a few things that I like about this particular swim suit..

First it is a one piece kinda mini dress looking. The design of the fabric is pretty flattering.

and its figure control... LOVE THAT!!

And it was only..

which is a great price for a bathing suit that you will wear all season long!

Here is how it looks under the skirt..

This bathing suit was pretty flattering on. I won't be taking any pictures of myself in it.. unless at the pool with the kids or something..but its comfortable too.

Another thing I like is I don't really need a cover up with either. I can walk right into a convenient store in this and feel just fine. I might slide a sheer black top over it sometimes but its just fine to wear out in public as it is.

This is also perfect for the water parks.. Have you tried wearing a 2 piece to a water park?? It doesn't work out so well.. My top has came down more than once on those big slides. In my early 20's I wore a lot of Nike Swimsuits and they are great too. Most of those suits do just fine at the water parks with the sports bra kind of top.

We have a bunch of kids who love the water and its important to me to feel comfortable in what ever bathing suit I am wearing. I think this one will be great for our busy summer!

Late Night → Bloggin' ←

Wow...It seems like late night is the only time I have had lately to blog..I need more hours in the day it seems! Don't know if tomorrow will be any different. Scott is home all day and I am sure we will be figuring out some things to do on our only full day together of the entire week. I know we are going to enjoy a late brunch, then I want to go look for curtains...if I can talk Scott into it.

It rained all day here today..I got up around noon, got dressed and out the door I went..Ran to walmart, got a few things I wanted..Then I ran to Jack in the Box and got a breakfast sandwich ( they serve it all day ) and was killing time waiting for Scott to get off work...

So I headed into the goodwill..Found a few neat household items and when I was checking out I encountered...

These two ladies.. They were freaking hilarious!!!!

This one was the funnest of all..She just rambled on in her deep southern draw..It was the highlight of my day!! I loved her!! She had a huge personality! I wanted to follow her out the door and hang out! She gave me tons

After I checked out, I headed home to go out with baby...

in really wet weather!!!

We drove for almost an hour to go

to go to this huge mall...It was longer than what I thought we need drive in that rain but I cant pass up shopping!!

However, I think we might have been just as happy going for dinner and a movie in bed. Really we were both tired..I was dozing off on the way there. But an hour later we were....

Walking through the mall parking lot...And the mall was HUGE..

On the way in I saw this new little baby shoe in the parking lot.

Wonder what little baby is missing their shoe!

Here is the food court..Its got a beautiful carousel int he middle..

don't remember what part of the mall this is.. This mall was one of the biggest I have been to in a long time..I only got a few pictures because I was walking around trying to eat pretzel bites, drink a coke, carry my purse and hold Scott's hand..But here are the others...

Love this jumpy thing.. Brittany and Jackson love these! I think Scott and I need one in our house! I really love it!

The end was the Bass Pro Shop in it..Wasn't really interested in that so we turned around and before I knew it we were passing a **** HUGE **** purse display that I just had to go check out..To the purses I went and to the shoes Scott went...

I love purses..Its so fun getting new ones!

Then we were back to walking the mall...I think we must have walked a mile to get to the Nascar go carts..

  

There were 2 levels to this huge area...Go carts on top level..

I thought Scott wanted to ride them but he didn't want to wait.. I don't know what happened to him...But after that he was ready to go home..So away we went..He was tired and not feeling his best so before I knew it we were home and he got in the shower and was in bed in no time.

Here is the purse I got!!!!

Its a beautiful Alfred Dunner purse...Its a dark pink shinny and soft color..I love it!!!

Its got a separator..lots of room and lots of storage..

I also got this wallet...Its very close to the color of the purse..Just not so shinny..

and its divided really nice too!

I also picked up a could cute tank tops at Old Navy..

And here is what Baby got tonight..He has been on this shoe obsession lately.. He has shoes all over the house. But whatever..He works hard...And gives me all I ever could want..But he is loving the shoes right now..He just bought another pair last night....Funny as I write this, I can hear him snoring..LoL..Love him so much..I couldn't ever imagine being without him. Life is so much better because of him..Even on bad days..

Hopefully this next week I will be able to really get some post up. Monday I am hoping to get a lot done! I still need to go grocery shopping. The only thing holding me up is I haven't made a list and planned out any meals. I can do it without planning but it harder..Soooo.. I really need to get that done soon..I need to try to get grocery shopping in tomorrow if I can..But it might have to wait till Monday too. I also want to catch those girl scouts at Walmart for some cookies!!!! I meant to get them today but I forgot..And got to get some of them cookies!!!

Well I am heading to bed..

I am sure tomorrow will be a long day too!
