Need ENERGY

I am just getting where I can sit down and take a break for a few minutes before I get up and get back at it. In a few minutes I have to start wrapping gifts. YES.. I am actually wrapping a few gifts tonight. If I wait on my husband its going to be a big job for him so I am going to do a few myself. I am not that great at it..and I don't spend a lot of money on wrapping them either. It all goes in the garbage anyway. No thank you. But I am wrapping them! 

I have had a busy day around the house. If you look around you don't really notice that I have done a lot. I have been decorating and doing all kinds of odd jobs. Including get the Christmas cards addressed and out in the mail. If you want to check them out click here! I seriously need to clean my bathroom. The master bathroom is really big and its pretty much the kitty room where I feed them and have where they have a box. Well... they are messy kittys.. and it really needs cleaned. So I am doing that about 8pm or so. Dinner tonight is nothing I am going to brag about. I am going to take some smoked sausage and cut it in half and then fry it up.. let the boys make quick sandwiches with it and throwing in some quick cooking pasta and thats dinner. I figure they might moan and groan about it but its food.. and they will eat it or find something else. =) I am not even hungry so I wouldn't mind not cooking tonight. But at least I am making something. 

Tomorrow I have to really spend the day cleaning up around here.There is so much to do and I am having everyone help but the next few days are going to be crazy. I am going to try to get most of Thursday's post done tonight... and then Friday's done early too otherwise they are not going to get up. Tomorrow starts a very busy next 6 days. 

I am trying to find the motivation to get my tired ass up and getting the next thing checked off my ever growing list. 

Ohh.. check out our adorable granddaughter Ashlynn. 

Too freaking cute! I wish they could have came this year but they just couldn't do it. Maybe next year! 

Well.. I need to get moving or I will fall asleep.. and I want to get a few things done before I get in a hot bath and then crawl in my bed.

Back to Bed..

I am only up for a few minutes. Its cold and rainy here and I totally feel sorry for my husband having to even go outside in that weather. I don't know what woke me up but Jackson is still sleeping.. Scott just left.. and I am enjoying a very good 

tasting cup of coffee in bed. The downstairs was freezing too. I am so grateful for a life where I don't have to get out in this weather. I need to go to the store but I could stretch it till Tuesday if I had to. Its just a mess outside and we are staying indoors today keeping dry and warm. 

Even with Scotts help yesterday we seriously still do not have all the laundry done yet. I will be doing that and running the dryer should maybe help things out. I can't believe we are having such weather. Last night it was extremely windy.. and I bet if I go outside I will find a lot out in the yard. That stuff will just have to wait. And I am still thinking the weather has to be crazy wrong.. its still saying snow showers tomorrow......

Gosh I don't know which day will be best to go to the store. I sure in the hell don't want to be out if its snowing. I complain more in winter than any other time. When my muscles tense up and I start shivering.. I start bitching. I really hate being cold! 

Thats one of the reasons I wear a lot of sweaters. My husband likes some and others he calls - Old Lady Sweaters - but I love them all! I have a bunch but its just about time to go buy some more. 

I am going to lay back doze off for a few hours and hopefully wake up to a warm house. I have the heat going along with a small fire downstairs to keep things cozy. Then I plan on getting busy and get that laundry done. I am really going to be focusing in the living room this week. Since things have been a little bit crazy around here.. I am going right back on the Flylady system. It works well if you keep up with it and clearly we need a little extra help around here right now. So check her out.. he really does do a great job of giving you a very good plan to get your house cleaned up.. 

I'll be back when I wake up and warm up!

Night ♥

I am so tired tonight. I don't know how much longer I am going to be able to keep my eyes open. I just got out of a really hot bath and I am thinking that might have made me even more sleepy than what I already was. I know I didn't really write much about it much today but I was in a lot of pain today. I ate something that just didn't agree with me which caused me really bad stomach pain today. =(  Its actually been really bad at points but I am hoping once I fall asleep.. the pain is over. I was feeling so bad that husby brought home dinner for us. It was much appreciated being it was hard just standing tonight. 

Even though I was feeling bad tonight, I decided to move the tvs around. We have a lot of tvs around here but my kitchen tv has been upstairs.. another tv in the study which wasn't getting used.. so I hauled them to new spots.. BUT.. I couldn't figure out the wires in the back that hook up the cable boxes. I think I was just tired and feeling bad because that is the kind of thing I normally take care of. However, husby came home and saved the day. He got them all hooked up and I was super relieved for the help. Now the kitchen tv is back where it belongs and there is no big tv that isn't getting used in the study anymore. I also wanted to get the kitchen mopped but that sure in the hell didn't happen. Nope... so that job is waiting on me tomorrow too. 

I also skipped out on running to the market. Having a stocked pantry and freezer is letting me get away with my delayed trips to the store. Plus having husby pick up dinner helps too!  I might try to make that happen tomorrow too. But that depends if I am feeling better or not. 

I wasn't too happy tonight when Scott told me he was going to work to tomorrow. One of the other bozos is on vacation and he has to fill in. Scott and the dealership is sponsoring everyone at the pool tomorrow night. They are parking some new cars out in front.. paying for the admission to everyone who comes to family swim night so we will for sure be at the pool tomorrow. It might rain the afternoon but since he is having this event, I hope that its dry once 7pm comes around. Jackson doesn't even realize that we are going swimming tomorrow so he is gong to be happy when he finds out. Another thing that kinda aggravated me today was husby left his phone at home. I guess I could have just took it to him but I didn't.. Instead I had to go through the office to get ahold of him all day.. which SUCKED. But whatever.. and I bet tomorrow he doesn't forget it.

Courtney told me to tell Scott that he is ready to start selling cars! Ha! Scott loves this little guy.. Every time he sees him.. he picks him right up and starts giving him loves. Its precious! He is growing up so freaking fast!  He was so little when we saw him in the hospital but he is growing like a weed! I think I am going to have Courtney, the boys, her sister, and maybe even her mom over for a cookout soon. It might be a back to school cookout! =) I love her mom and I am excited to meet her sister! 

Also our daughter Laura posted some new pictures of the girls..

We are trying to get a fall trip planned to Gatlinburg with all the kids. I really need to work on getting the dates figured out so we can book a cabin. When we are having a vacation with all the kids ( the big kids and little kids ) I think a cabin works out so much better. First off.. kids are LOUD and its nice to not have to worry about keeping them hushed up in a hotel room.. Second.. we don't have to eat every meal out when we stay in a cabin because they come with a full kitchen.. and we also get our own hot tub! So yea.. its a deal to just get a cabin, and it also gives us a little extra money to spend in the city! Can't wait for that trip! 

Anyway, I am super tired.. super grumpy.. and I have to be up at 7 to call Brittany Belle.

Sleepy Night

Well I have been one hell of a busy bee today and I am paying for it right now! I am totally exhausted and ready for some sleep but I have a few more little things to do first.. Right now I am on break for a few minutes so I thought I would check in and say hello to you all!

I don't know what happened to my feed again but my posts were not showing up on Google Reader but I think it got fixed. If you depend on reading this blog from either the blogger dashboard or Google Reader then you might just want to bookmark this blog and come back that way. I hate it when things are not working the way they should be. FRUSTRATING! But things are showing up now. I did manage to get the weekly Drugstore Steals & Deals done today.. You can check them out under the pages for all the sale items. I didn't think I was going to get them all done but I did and totally happy they are finished! 

Today was all about packing.. and packing.. and packing.. 

I think most of it is done.. But tomorrow I have some last minute things to pack along with packing my make up and stuff. I don't even think I am taking my pink little make up bag this time. I think I am just going to put whatever make up in my purse and the rest of the items needed will just go into the suitcase. We are packing enough as it is.. so saving room might be a good idea! 

I took off tonight once husby got home and got a few more snacks for the ride. I even got some cereal for either a late night snack tomorrow night or breakfast on Sunday. With 2 boys they are hungry all the time! 

Speaking of hungry boys.. Tonights dinner was super easy.. and pretty good.. 

Breakfast! 

I cooked up a lot of bacon, scrambled eggs and I made each of us one very large pancake.. 

I put it all on the platter and dinner was served so easy. 

We didn't even sit down to eat until after 10pm. Yep.. super late dinner and breakfast was perfect!

I have a bunch more stuff to do tomorrow before we leave. Its going to be a busy day to say the least. I don't think we are leaving till around 4pm and we plan on driving to Alabama and then stopping for the night. I have some posts scheduled that will be popping up over the weekend. So come back and check things out! You can also keep up with me a little through instagram and facebook. I will also try to blog a little when we stop for the night. 

Well I need rest.. I am off to bed.

Night

I should be sleeping.. I have to be up at 10am to head to the Dr. Thankfully, the office is really close and I don't have to drive far. I doubt I am going to get to sleep before 4am so I am betting that I get a nap in after I get back home. I am watching something on tv that I just can't turn off.. so yea.. going to be tired tomorrow.

A day with Miss Ashlynn!

So I have been kinda lazy with the pictures the last few days. I have been so busy that I just drop when I have some free time.. so I had a lot of photo's to catch up on. Husby wanted to know when pictures of the grand baby would be up on here today too.. so I guess he thought I was running behind too! 

To be fair.. I was letting Laura use the computer for a lot of the afternoon doing homework. She has classes starting back up on Thursday so she had to get it done. She sat the kitchen table.. books open, laptop open, papers laying around working as much as she could in between caring for Ashlynn. It reminded me of college and trying to study with little ones running around. Not Easy.. I just came upstairs and let her handle it. I would have been happy to have watched Ashlynn for her but that baby would never let that happen with mommy and daddy in the house. I figured getting out of the way and letting her handle it was best. 

Anyway.. here is she is!!

Just a quick goodnight. I need to get some sleep tonight.. It was a good night.. We had a really good dinner with the kids and watched a movie.. Scott helped out in the kitchen A  LOT and it sure made things much easier on me. Thank you baby!

I got a post coming up of last nights dinner. I just haven't had the time I want to blog right now. I have a ton of movie reviews coming up too. I am keeping a list of movies and its starting to get long. Just hang in there. I will be posting as I can. We will just be hanging around the house tomorrow. The kids will running some errands tomorrow but will be around for the most part. I know Scott is wanting to watch some football game tomorrow around noon so I am sure I will be hiding upstairs!

I haven't even been taking a ton of pictures either. I seem to stay busy but I did take some of dinner and I plan on taking more as the days go on. I did get this picture of

In just a couple of minutes I plan on finishing off a

glass of chilled white wine and read

till I drift off to sleep. This is a huge Oscar issue of People.. So it will be a couples nights worth of reading.

I know I should be asleep but I was finishing up what I wanted to online and ran across this picture.

When I look at it ...it just makes me happy! I love it.. This is one of the best pictures I have ever seen..

 Now that I have saw this.. I can only hope one day I come home and Scott has done this for me.

I just think its magical and so enchanting looking! I love it and tonight.. when I close my eyes.. I hope I end up there running around on that green lawn playing with the balloons in my dreams..

Friday Night Recap...

I love this painting by Gregor Ziolkowski...He is a German artist and I love his work! This is the sleeping angel. I think its just beautiful!

Well..its pretty early for me around here. Its 1030 and dad is in bed and Scott is playing his game. They have to get up to head to the airport at 4 am . Needless to say.. I said goodbye to dad tonight already. He woke up sick to his stomach. He took some medicine that didn't agree with him. We all were up around 7 am.. Dad decided about 745 that he wanted to lay on the couch for a while.. So back to bed I went and he woke me up at 11 to wake up so we could go get something to eat. He was feeling better. We went to the mom and pops store right around the corner and grabbed some lunch. They have a little dining room and they serve the entire town.. Police, firemen.. they all eat there. The food is good and the prices are really reasonable. Breakfast is really good...but we were too late for it.

Then we came home...watched a movie and hung out on the front porch for a while.. Then it was time to get busy and get dinner cooked. Dad normally eats at 5 pm and we didn't sit down to dinner tonight until around 630. I hated starving him. But Scott worked till 6 and we waited on him.

Believe it or not.. Dad had not ate chicken fried steak.. So that's what I cooked for dinner...

It was really good. Scott likes to put hot sauce on his.. Its a meal that we both really enjoy. I still have some dishes in the sink from dinner. I filled up the dishwasher as full as I could and the rest can wait till tomorrow.. I normally clean the kitchen later in the night but being they have to be out of the bed at 4 am.... I am just finishing it up tomorrow. I wont look at the dirty dishes in the sink. I put a towel over them. It makes a world of difference for me.. It makes it bearable to put it off to the next day!

We took off after dinner to get an ice cream.. Came back..hung out and it wasn't long before dad went to bed. Scott sure is going to have a long day tomorrow. His day is really starting early. He is only suppose to work till 4 but you never know. They get busy on the weekends. and if its not busy then I bet he will be out on the golf course. I think he wants to play on Sunday too. I am sure our friends are going to want to hang out but tomorrow I am taking it easy on my schedule. I want to get things back to normal around here. Maybe we can see each other on Sunday sometime. I am totally looking forward to alone time tomorrow. I forget how much I enjoy it until I don't have it. I didn't blog today..or make calls or anything. I don't have my dad at my house often and I wanted to be really present while he was here. We had a pretty relaxing...laid back day..I was nervous the first day but today was much easier. He said that he will come again if they needed him to drive a car home. The crazy thing is... he wanted to drive a car but a plane ticket was cheaper. So he is flying..I had a good time and enjoyed him being here.

KITTEN NEWS...

First of all. I feel bad I haven't had the time to update Kisha's House of Persians lately.. I wish I had but just haven't had the time.. I will hopefully get it updated next week sometime. So you might see some of the same pictures on there that are already on here. Sorry!!

Today Gabby packed her kittens all over the place. First she took them one by one to under the spare room bed..Then she packed each of them into one of my closets.. then she moved them out of the basket to a spot on the floor! Its the cutest thing watching her pack them around. I hope to get a picture the next time she does it.

Just a few minutes ago she was in the basket nursing them..

The other 2 kittens don't have their eyes open yet.. Hopefully in the next few days they will start to experience the big bad world! I love it! Watching all these kittens grow and develop is truly an honor for me. Its amazing.. And they have so much love coming there way.. Dad even picked them up and checked them out!!I don't have words for how much I love it.

Ohh..here are the pictures of dad from last nights dinner. He didn't know I took the pictures and he rarely reads this blog..He doesn't own a computer by choice and the only way he knows anything is when my ex husband tells him. So don't think he will know about this!!

As many of you know that some people believe the world is coming to an end at 6 pm tomorrow.. Well..if that happens...its been nice chatting with ya!!!!! OMG...I seriously think these people have the crazies..I should be home tomorrow at 6...so maybe I will be blogging at the end! =))))

The house is really quiet. I am trying to keep the TV down really low to avoid waking them up. I think in the next few minutes I am going to go run me a big bubble bath and enjoy my new copy of....

There are only 3 more shows left. That might be the end of my world...I don't know what I am going to do when she is gone. I just want her to tell us its just a big joke.. and she's not going anywhere. Its truly breaking my heart. I watch her network channel OWN all the time but I am going to miss her at 4 pm every day. I grew up with her always in my living room spreading her encouraging words and really teaching us all to be better people. Wednesday when the last show is over.. I might just stop breathing..

I plan on sleeping in tomorrow.. then got to pick up the house. Dad should be in Louisville around 11:30 tomorrow. I need to write him a note for morning. Never know.. I might be up.. But chances are.. I wont.

Blogging should get back to normal tomorrow.. I will also get to emails over the weekend too! I know I have 2 readers who have sent me pictures of their cats!! How awesome is that! I saw them on my blackberry but I look forward to really checking them out! Thank you guys for sending them to me!! Keep it up! kishajaggers@aol.com !!!!!
