A day with Miss Ashlynn!

Tuesday, March 6, 2012

So I have been kinda lazy with the pictures the last few days. I have been so busy that I just drop when I have some free time.. so I had a lot of photo's to catch up on. Husby wanted to know when pictures of the grand baby would be up on here today too.. so I guess he thought I was running behind too!

To be fair.. I was letting Laura use the computer for a lot of the afternoon doing homework. She has classes starting back up on Thursday so she had to get it done. She sat the kitchen table.. books open, laptop open, papers laying around working as much as she could in between caring for Ashlynn. It reminded me of college and trying to study with little ones running around. Not Easy.. I just came upstairs and let her handle it. I would have been happy to have watched Ashlynn for her but that baby would never let that happen with mommy and daddy in the house. I figured getting out of the way and letting her handle it was best.

Anyway.. here is she is!!

We got up and really had a rather easy start to the day. Jerred and I took off to the dealership and to do a little shopping while Laura and the baby stayed home. We brought lunch back which

Ashlynn seemed to really enjoy!

Kisses from daddy

This seems to be her favorite hangout.. its where all the snacks are!

Here is Laura! She is such a sweet heart.

Baby Ashlynn finally dropped for a short nap. I think she looked really sweet under the twinkle lights. Her mommy did too!

Then it was

running around the house staying busy.

She seemed to know most of her colors in her cute little book.

Super Cooper is right in the middle of all the action!

Laura.. Look at that belly!!! Thats our next grand baby. Coming in early May!

Little Ashlynn is a little firecracker. She is go, go, go. I feel for mommy who will be battling 2 children. Its going to be a lot of work.

But this little one is precious!

Its taking a little time for her to snuggle up to Scott. She seems a little shy of him but I have a feeling they are going to get plenty of time together in the future!

My day was pretty easy. When we stopped by the dealership we brought home a gift

husby got from one of his reps. They really do spoil him in the car business. Who would have guessed this kind of job would bring a lot of gifts.. but it does. a lot of gifts!

I already posted the rest of the night already but you can click the link

I posted all these together because I was wanting to get them up before tomorrow. I don't know how much posting I will be doing tomorrow.. and just wanted to jump ahead. Sorry for the busy days. I always have so much I want to talk to you guys about but I don't get near the time I want to blog. Just hang in there with me and I will get back in the swing of things.
After dinner, we all hung out a bit and then I sneaked off for a long bubble bath.. I just needed to relax and it gave me everything I needed to get on with the rest of the night. Husby has been helping out a lot too. I can't believe how much he is doing but he has been running around here like a madman cleaning things up. I really appreciate it and just let him go. I figure its what he wants to be doing  In fact he is right here

beside of me not even knowing his picture just got taken!
Tomorrow he is going to be home all day. He is not going into work at all. Crazy huh? I hope he sleeps in and doesn't get everyone up! He will be the first to rise.. then Michael. I think we have been keeping Michael up too late.. hes been tired the past couple of days. I feel for him because this is not his family and I am sure its not easy on him sharing a house with so many people right now. I told him I'm sure it kinda feels like - college - around here but he doesn't have long to go before he is in his own place again. And.. we consider him part of the family anyway.. so he just has to get use to it! =) Most other people love Michael too. I might not always agree with him, but I think a lot of him.. he's a great friend. I kinda hate to see him move out but he's ready. And we need the room for the little kids. I'm telling you are lives are really full with the kids. We are really blessed for the family we have. Its not the perfect family.. but we are all connected and in each others lives and Scott and I stay so busy with the kids. It takes a while to get use to living together and it takes a while to go from a quiet house to a loud house.. but family beats everything.

Its funny because my house is not a lot like the house I grew up in, but it holds the same values. We have a lot going on and I don't know how we are going to fit it all in but we just roll with it and I am sure by the grace of God we will get through it all.
I should have said something sooner but a lot of the area I grew up in faced great storms and tornado's the past few days ago.

It ripped Henryville terribly. I was super worried about my children and family. Thankful that everyone I know is safe but its really sad that this has happened. I don't know what anyone does from that point. I have been busy so I haven't really said anything but its very sad and my prayers are with all those people. My facebook page was lighting up with pictures and it was terrifying.
There are a ton of current affairs I could discuss if I had the time, but its getting late and I need to be getting to sleep. I hope you have a good day and I will be back when I can!

xoxo
