Avon Big Daring Mascara Demo, Review & Giveaway + More! :)

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful day. I am back with a more fun beauty related video, blog post and giveaway! A friend/subscriber Jacqueline sent me some Avon items to test and review. I happily said yes! In the video below I am going to go over a few of the items she sent including demoing the Avon Big Daring Mascara. Here are my thoughts...hope you enjoy! Also there is more information below about the other items she sent along with a fun giveaway sponsored by Jacqueline herself!

This is the Avon Power Serum is by far is my favorite item out of everything she sent me. It feels amazing on the skin. I have used this mostly at night ( I do use moisturizer after ) and when I wake up my skin really does look better.  That was just with a few samples.

I noticed my skin really looking and feeling better using this serum. It felt firming and my skin felt moisturized and the over all appearance actually changed after one use. I swear. I was shocked at how much my skin really enjoyed this product. 

Jacqueline also sent me a full size Avon Big & Daring Mascara.  This is an interesting mascara because it is a 24 hour formula. Meaning it will stay put for a very long time.

This is a wet formula for sure. It has a huge wand with a lot of bristles and as you could see in the video, it really does plump up and lengthen. I think you need to really take you're time when applying this because it is a bit wetter. It does coat every lash and dries rather quick. You will need to use a oil based remover to get this easily off you're lashes. I don't wear my make up that long but it's nice to have a strong mascara that wont smudge or flake. It's not my favorite of all time but it's pretty nice.

Another product I got to try out is one of the Ultra Color Lipsticks in Carnation. She also sent cherry jubilee which was a little to bright for me but a beautiful shade. I personally liked the pinky mauve Carnation.

This color was perfect for me. It glided right on. It didn't feel heavy. I think the color alone is perfect for any time of the year. I did have to reapply it a few times through out the day but with as with any moisturizing lipstick, it didn't do that ugly feathering appearance on my lips. This was another favorite that she sent me!

I got a bunch of samples of Avon's Ultra Sexy Heart Eau de Toilette Spray. However the bottle is super cute! Here's a little more about this scent:

I am picky about perfumes. This one however is very spring like. It's very light...not a heavy scent at all. I personally couldn't smell a lot of the rose petals or jasmine but I did smell a lot of the drier notes such as the chocolate marshmallow and sandalwood. I smelled the orchid too. I actually like it a lot. It does smell fresh and light. Perfect for spring and summer. 

She also sent a few samples of the Black Suede Sport cologne for Scott to try out. Here's a little more about this scent.

This scent seemed to linger all around the house all day. I could smell it on the animals and even on Scott after he got home from a long day's work. I was taken by how good this smelled. I was kinda shocked it was an Avon product. I have paid tons for other colognes for Scott and this one is just as good. This would make a great gift for any man in your life. 

Avon has really stepped up their game in the past few years. Their skincare lines are amazing. All of them from what I can tell. Their makeup is top of the line as well. Get Ready w/ Me! Featuring Avon Anew Age Transforming Compact Makeup | Video |

Hello friends! Happy Saturday to you all! I hope its a beautiful fall day wherever you may be. Today I am back with a Get Ready w/ me video showing how well the Avon Anew Age Transforming Compact Makeup works. I figured since I had used so much of the foundation up, it would be a good time to go over my thoughts on it while I get ready! I think really instead of writing out a long in depth blog post doesn't do it justice.....so check out the video to see for yourself how well it covers and blends into the skin.

Avon Skinvincible{ Multi- Shield Lotion & Deep Recovery Cream} Reviews

Hello friends! I am back with a review for the Avon Anew Clinical Skinvincible Night and Day Duo. I do not sell Avon but my sister in law does. Many times if I see a product that I want to try she will send me samples to try before I buy it. This time, I saw this article on the daily mail and knew I wanted to try it. I got ahold of Trina and she was very generous by sending me 2 full size bottle to try. If you want to hear my thoughts on this duo, have a look at the video. First off I love that the day cream comes in a pump. The beautiful blueish color of the bottles protects the antioxidants from sun exposure. The day time lotion has a SPF of 50 which is very high. It doesn't smell strong of sunscreen but there is a hint of it. It goes on very light and sinks into the skin fast. I found it did a great job at moisturizing my dry skin and doesn't cause me to break out. I will say that if you are being filmed or photographed this high SPF in this product will give you flash back. It just will. But as with some other moisturizers with a high spf it doesn't give my face a crackly look when wearing foundation. I found I like to wear this the most when I am staying home and not getting in front of the camera. Also if we are out enjoying nature this is perfect under some light bb cream. 

The Deep Recovery Cream is the night cream that I really love. There are times when I am filming or taking pictures that I use this instead of the day lotion. Its thick and rich perfect for a night cream. I actually prefer this product more than the other. I love how moisturizing it leaves my skin. As soon as I get out of the bath or shower each night, I slather this on. I have noticed my skin looking better and not being so dry.

Avon Mega Effects Mascara: Video, Review, Demo, and Pictures!

Happy Monday friends! I am running so behind on everything today but I would love to chat with you for a few minutes about the Avon Mega Effects Mascara! My review is in the video and more pictures and info is below. Hope you enjoy! 

Makeup Monday : Avon Ideal Flawless BB Cream Review, Photos, Swatches & Video

Hello Friends! For makeup Monday I want to take a few minutes to go over the Avon Ideal Flawless BB Cream. 

This was a gift from my sister in law Trina sent me to test out. I think she just knew I would love it! (: If you are interested in getting this or any other Avon product, feel free to stop by her site .. any if you have any questions she is always willing to help!

Avon says this is a...

Light formulation cream, infused with vitamin  E and minerals. Evens out skin tone, hydrates and reduces redness. Covers imperfections and smoothes out skin. Skin looks improved even after removal of the cream.

It comes in a 1oz tube and retails around $7.99 which is pretty reasonable. I had high hopes for this because with all the BAD drugstore BB Creams gave Avon time to figure out a good formula.. and I wasn't disappointed at all.  I think it feels really nice on the skin.. almost kinda of silky.

I have read some reviews that have said this is a thin formula but I didn't find that.. 

Its pretty thick actually. I think it does a really good job at hydrating your skin without feeling too wet or greasy. I like to use my fingers to blend it in... rather than a brush or beauty blender. I think it looks better when really worked into the skin. Its not full coverage but it does have pretty decent coverage and you can build it up in the places you need. For me, it does cover redness pretty good and evens out my skin tone. This does contain a very fine gold glitter than you can barely see with the naked eye. It doesn't sit in my lines or pores and gives a very subtle glow to the skin. I don't really notice a sunscreen smell or anything.. there is pretty much no smell.  My face just absorbs it really well but I have dry skin. If you have oily skin you will need to set it with a powder.I think this is great for a quick fix for normal day to day makeup. It gives you everything in one so you don't need a ton of products.

Overall, this is working really well for me and I love it!

My Updated Skin Care Routine! [ Video! ]

Hi Friends.. and happy Thursday! Today I thought I would share with you what has been working for my skin.. There are so many great products out there and really its just testing out stuff until you find what works good with you skin. For me, I have dry skin.. so I have to watch out for products that dry my skin out even more. 

Soooo.. Here is what I have been using.. Hope it helps you with some ideas of what you might want to use.. or maybe not! Who knows but I hope you enjoy it anyway!

I am betting for many of you.. it was cold.. We are in North Carolina and its freezing here. Gosh.. Can't wait to get moved!

Avon Q110 - Mocha Latte Eye Look!

Its a rainy day around here so what better to do than play in some makeup! I created this soft smokey look using the Avon True Color Quad in Q110 . I have been waiting a while to play with the beautiful colors in this quad. I paired it up with one of the black Avon Glimmerstick Liqui-glide pencils. I finished it off with a couple of coats of 

the Clinque High Impact Volume Extreme Mascara!
