Huge Drugstore Haul! [ Video ]

Happy Weekend Friends! Scott and I kinda had a fun day out of shopping. We didn't buy anything that wasn't on sale...clothes wise and I also did some drugstore shopping. This is a pretty big haul... but a few items I want to give away to family... and a I am also having a giveaway on here too! All the details are in the video below. Today I took advantage of a big sale going at CVS. There are lots of makeup deals but the ones I used were..

So what I did was... check out first with the Physicians Formula and Revlon products.I actually had $8 dollars in Extracare bucks that I used towards the total. Then at the bottom of my receipt was the $14 in extra care bucks from this weeks sales. Then I had her ring up the other products... and used the $14 dollars I just got...which made me very happy! And there are tons of other sales going on at CVS right now. You should go check it out for yourself.. grab a paper when you walk in and shop the deals! 

Also there were too many products to photograph and put in 1 blog post. So I will divide them up and do swatches and photos really soon!

My Updated Skin Care Routine! [ Video! ]

Hi Friends.. and happy Thursday! Today I thought I would share with you what has been working for my skin.. There are so many great products out there and really its just testing out stuff until you find what works good with you skin. For me, I have dry skin.. so I have to watch out for products that dry my skin out even more. 

Soooo.. Here is what I have been using.. Hope it helps you with some ideas of what you might want to use.. or maybe not! Who knows but I hope you enjoy it anyway!

Makeup Monday : Aveeno Clear Complexion BB Cream Review, Photos, Swatches & Video ]

Wednesday CVS Haul!

I had to run into CVS today and came out with more than I expected! I was soooooo excited to pick up the New Aveeno Clear Complexion BB Cream.. which is the highlight of this haul.. BUT I got some other things too!

Needed CVS Haul & New Product Displays!

I just can't stay out of CVS. Seriously.. It seems like I am there almost daily and sometimes more than once a day! I actually needed a few items tonight and got more than I was expecting. My December No Buy month has turned out to be a complete failure! 

Here is what I ended up getting.. 

My skin has been so dry lately. So I decided to try out this 

Aveeno Skin Relief Body Wash for itchy dry skin. I'll let you know how it works. 

I also use this Brush on Hair Remover.. 

I like it for times when I just don't want to sit around and pluck my brows. The brush on this works really well and I have found a way to give my brows a waxed look without the pain. But I don't use it all the time.. just when I am rushed! 

I also needed some razors.

I just got the CVS ones.. which work just fine. 

Now on to some of the new product displays.. They were working on getting them put up.. so I will have to go back in the coming days to check out the rest of them. 

Here is the 

Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Suede Longwear Lipstick. Check out all those colors! 

They got up this Covergirl + Olay Concealer Balm. 

They also had up this new Loreal Display up.. 

Tons of new products on here. New concealers, shadows, polishes, lipsticks and even 

Mascara. I will have to go back and check this out more soon! 

Then I saw the Colorgirl High Gloss Nail Polish.. 

with lots of new pretty colors. 

Here is the display from the CoverGirl Outlast Foundation.. which I already got. 

And here are the two items I got from the displays.. 

I use a lot of the Covergirl + Olay products so I had to get this concealer. 

And I also got one of the 

Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Suede Lipstick in 

010 - Womans Wear - which is a pretty pink. 

I can't wait to test these out and get reviews up!

Friday Night Haul!!

I did a lot of shopping today but oddly enough not very much makeup shopping at all! But here is what I got.. 

I was really wanting some new glass nail files.. So off to Sally's to get some.. 

I got this big crystal file by ASP.. 

I also got this 

glass file by Swissco. 

Super happy about these.. and will do a more in depth post about glass files soon! 

Then we went to CVS where I picked up some more of this 

Revlon New Complexion Compact Makeup in #02 - Tender Peach -.. Love this makeup and needed more! 

I also decided to try out 2 more Burt's Bee Products.. 

I got the Radiance Day Cream and I also got the 

Intense Hydration Night Cream. My box was all damaged so I am not taking a picture.. but here is how its supposed to look! 

 

I have been loving all Burt's Bee products lately.. and I can't wait to test these out and let you know my thoughts! 

I also forgot to add this to the first picture.. but I also got this 

Aveeno Smart Essentials Daily Detoxifying Scub that my husband loves!! If you got the Target Beauty Bag, then you should have also got a sample of this! I will get a full review up on this too soon!

A Review for The GUYS!!! [ AVEENO THERAPUTIC SHAVE GEL ]

I know I am doing a lot of Salma Hayek Reviews this past week and this week [ you can get to them all by clicking the label Salma Hayek or Nusance on the right side ] but tonight I want to do this review for all the guys.. And some women!!

A month or so ago, I dropped Scott's electric razor and it broke to pieces. I have yet to get him another one so he is just using regular razors. He has been complaining of razor bumps and asked if I could find him some kind shaving gel that would help.

After I wondered the isles I came home with this.

Aveeno Therapeutic Shave Gel

What makes it different is the fact that it contains natural oatmeal and infused with other lubricants to give you a close, bump-free shave.

From what I have read Aveeno products use natural ingredients which have been formulated so that you do not know their presence in the product. The oatmeal is so fine that you don't even know its in there. Lavender is also put into the product and you can't really smell it. Also the packaging of the products is designed to reflect how natural the product is. I am sure you all notice that from the pictures above!

When you put it on your skin.. 

its pretty much a gel like texture and then when you rub it in a bit it

lathers right up.

I asked Scott a few times about how he feels about this product and he said the first time he used it, it felt a little weird to him. He was not use to the consistency of it.. but husby does not regularly shave with cream. 

But since the first time, he has continued to use it and really like it. His face looks clear and not irritated at all. I have since tried it too when shaving my legs and I got a really close shave without any problems.

So, I know this is a little pricey for a drugstore shaving cream but I think its well worth it if the man in your life has sensitive skin.

  And another thing about what's great is the fact that men and women can use it, no matter where they are shaving.

Btw - the product also states to only shave every other day and use a razors specially made to fight ingrown hair. I don't know about you.. but I don't go a day with out shaving and neither does Scott! But even with daily use this works great!

So check this out the next time you are shopping!! I think you will like it!!
