Mini Nail Polish Haul, OPI Collection & Polish Organization | Video |

Wednesday, March 2, 2016

Hello friends! I hope you are getting along great with day. I am back sharing a fun kinda spring like video sharing a new mini nail polish haul, my full OPI Collection and I also share how I store and organize my polishes and nail accessories. It's been a while since I have done any kind of video about nails or polish so it's kinda exciting! It feels like spring to me....hope you enjoy!

I was going to post some photos of each polish for you guys but as I watched the video, you actually can see all the colors really well. So I am skipping the pictures.....it's actually a busy day for me around the house anyway. We have a lot to do to get ready for our trip up north, so I have tons to do. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the video.  I would love to know what you're favorite shade from OPI or how you store your polish. Leave me a comment on the video on youtube or on here if you feel like sharing! xx

Ipsy Bag Update: February Ipsy Bag Review & March Open Ipsy Bag! VIDEO

Tuesday, March 25, 2014

Hello! I am back with another ipsy bag update! I have been totally loving trying different subscription boxes here lately. With Ipsy you can get a little bag with 4 or 5 products a month to test out for $10. On the website you can answer some short questions about yourself and your style so they can customize your bag to you. However, I think many of us get the same products. I am only 2 months in with this subscription service and I have to say.. I really enjoy getting it in the mail and finding out what new products are included! If you want to check out a few quick reviews of my February Ipsy bag and the items that came in my March Ipsy bag, enjoy the video. As always, there are more pictures and info below!

Polish of the Moment: Essie Lady Like Photos & Swatches

Saturday, October 19, 2013

Its been a long while since I have done a #POTM on this blog so today I thought I would share this very pretty taupe color from Essies “Brand New Bag Collection”. It was a super thin formula like a lot of the Essie polishes. It was a bit thicker and in 2 coats it was totally opaque. I am a sucker for taupe colors in fall!

I just the

Sally Hansen Cleared for Take Off as my topcoat...

I love the color and think it pretty much goes with anything!

CVS Shopping.. [ Video ]

Monday, March 25, 2013

I was at CVS today using up a coupon that was about to expire... God knows, I love that store! (:

Here's what I got..

So have you seen the Khroma line out in your store yet?

Here are some pictures of the display..

I didn't get any lashes because I just didn't want anything that dramatic. I didn't think much of the display at all. They had very few eye shadows.. just a few that come with the lashes. I just don't know how well this line is. Hummmmmmmm.....

I did get another..

Yea!!! (:

I am so curious about the Kardashian line.. but I am not thrilled yet.. have you tried any of there stuff?? Let me know!

Helloooo! I hope you are all having a great night. Around here the house is shut down and I am blogging from bed. Which is seriously one of my most favorite places on earth! I was ahead of the game tonight. I got a early bath... I think I was in there around 7pm.. then I finished up dinner.. ate with the boys and waited on husby to get home. He was playing in a bowling fundraiser for a little girl with cancer. His boss sponsored a bunch of the guys to do it.. so it was a little later than normal. Honestly it was the last thing I wanted after him working so many hours this past week but he couldn't get out of it.

Manicure Monday : Pink Princess Polish

Monday, February 25, 2013

I did a base coat.. then I did 2 coats in this

Essie - Pink Diamond - Polish.. I let it dry and then took the

Essie glitter polish in

I kinda did a gradient effect with more on the tips than at the base. Then I topped it with clear coat and was done.

Super fast and super simple!

Friday Night CVS { Nail } Haul { Video & Photos }

Friday, February 15, 2013

Tonight Brandon and I went to CVS and I picked up some new " spring " polishes! One is not so new but a color I love!!

Here's the video.. pictures are below!

Essie Mochacino Photos & Swatches

Wednesday, December 5, 2012

I recently took part in my 2nd nail polish swap and was paired with Lesley from Pretty Little Pink Things and this is one of the polishes she sent me. ( To see everything she sent, clicky click right here ). I was pretty excited to try out this color because its right up my alley with the light brown shade.. very similar to the color of coffee.

This is a medium greyish brown color that has a slight silver shimmer that does kinda look pinkish green in different lighting. After the first coat, it was pretty shear so I ended up applying 3 coats to get the result I wanted.

The thing I like most about this color is its not too flashy being the shimmer is pretty light. I am totally loving this color right now and as with all Essie polishes, they apply really smooth without much effort and last a pretty long while without chipping. I just added a top coat and was done!

Love it!!

My 2nd November Nail Polish Swap!!!

Monday, December 3, 2012

I participated in my 2nd nail polish swap this past month and I was paired with Lesley over at Pretty Little Pink Things. She hooked me up with some great products... 2 of which I don't think I could find over here in the U.S. So let me show you!

She sent me..

Essie Polish in Mochacino

Joe ( Canadian Line of Polish ) in Sun Kissed

Joe Nail Strips Trio

I decided to go with the Nail Strips in this adorable snowflake design.

I love these strips because I SUCK at doing my own nails but I am dying to try both the other polishes too! The snowflakes look pretty cool huh! They worked the very same as the Sally Hansen Salon Effect Polish Strips. Super easy and they last a while too!

If you want to check out what I sent her.. you can clicky click right here!!

Thanks so much Lesley! I love everything you sent!

Current Polish... Outer Space Nails!!

Monday, November 19, 2012

Last night I decided to go not so neutral and have a little fun with my polish. I created this .. what I am calling my

Outer Space

look!

I simply took my

Wet N Wild Mega Last #218 Blackmail and used it as my base. I did 2 coats.. letting each dry in between... and then topped it with the

Sally Hansen Gem Crush in #08 Glitz Gal

which is a pretty blackish grey polish with some really pretty rainbow glitter. I did one coat of the glitter on each nail and topped it with

Sally Hansen #110 Clear'd for Take Off..

And I loved the end result!

Have a great evening!

Thankfully.. this time they had one of my favorite drugstore foundations..

The Revlon New Complexion One Step Compact Make up.

This one is in # 02  Tender Peach

I would have never thought this would be one of my favorites but it really is!!! I'm not sure if I have a full review up of this or not but I'll have to check the archives out and see!! This color totally matches my skin and has great coverage!

I also decided to try out this

Nutra Nail Gel Perfect Gel Perfect UV- Free Gel Color in

#12764 Torenia - which is a purple color -

I also got this Covergirl Perfect Point Plus Eyeliner in

#200 - Black Onyx -

I got another one of these Maybelline Great Lash Lots of Lashes mascaras. I LOVE mascara.. so I tend to buy a lot of it.. and this is a great one. It really is.. the brush is amazing and the formula is the same good formula that it always has been!

Wet n Wild - Private Viewing - Photos & Swatches

Wednesday, October 3, 2012

Wet n Wild is always a hit or miss for me.. Nothing in between. And this no different! I love nude nail polishes... and when I saw this polish at CVS for $1.99

First, this has a wide, flat ManiCurve Pro Brush is such a great tool. One swipe gets the job done and evenly distributed, too. The polish resists chipping as well as many of the more expensive brands. The color Private Viewing #204B is a nude. Two coats still produce a slightly translucent effect. There is a faint sparkle but this is definitely not a frosted polish. Its very natural.

I really love this polish. This is fairest nude for nails!! I love this shade it's a very nice nude shade that is somewhat sheer but buildable. I used 4 coats on my toes. It's non-streaky,applies well, cheap, and pretty.

So if you love nude polishes.. find this one..

Its a great great polish for the money! =)
