What a great movie. I love it!

I think the dresses are amazing and I just want to live in one of those big estates.. I mean look at this place..

Who wouldn't want to live there huh?

Anyway, it was a very relaxing day..

I woke up feeling good! The air was on so the house was cool. which was good, because it was another very warm day here.

Our neighbors came over and cut the grass. They don't charge that much and do a really good job..

Most of our front yard is clover! I don't really care... and maybe the kids can go out there and find 4 leaf clovers this summer!

It was really nice out.. it did cloud over about 6pm and rained for about an hour and then it stopped. It did kinda help cool things out a bit. We have been running the fans around here like crazy. This house gets hot. I have been wanting to clean the oven for days but its hot already and I just keep putting it off.

So lets talk about the tweet that I got a lot of emails about.. First off, if you didn't see it.. it simply said..

I had no idea when I married my ex husband he was so stupid when it comes to kids. WOW..

Ok, not the nicest things I could have said.. but let me explain.

I am cooking dinner, I get a frantic call from my daughter Brittany. She was crying and screaming so hard that I couldn't understand anything she was saying. I was so worried.. finally I calmed her down enough to speak.. and she told me that Jackson got into a bunch of trouble today at school and at the Boy Scouts and her dad had just whipped him.. she said it was really loud and Jackson was screaming so bad. She said she heard her father say he would break Jackson's arm next time. That was way to much for her to listen to and then she called me. I quickly hung up with her called my ex husband.. told him to leave Jackson alone and if he breaks any of his bones, he will sit in jail and never see those kids again. I told him their are consequences for how you treat people and these are OUR KIDS. I explained how Brittany was flipping out and that I was calling Jackson next to talk to him.. because after all, he is the one who was whipped.  I called Jackson, he was very quiet and upset. He said he wasn't trying to get into trouble, he was just having fun. Well, oh my.. what to say to that?

I don't really believe in whipping the kids. I have, but I am not proud of it. In all fairness, I think my ex husband has his hands full with the kids and Jackson is very misunderstood. I am not happy with him for hurting my son and I think he needs to cool way down before disciplining him.

I don't keep a lot of secrets.. Thats what it was about. It still is something that upsets me and that as family we are dealing with. When I say family.. I mean the kids and I. I have to deal with my ex husband more than I want and I picked him. but WOW.. its like dealing with a 13 year old bully. So I apologize for the tweet but I was very upset. I am hoping tomorrow that both of the kids are doing better. Oh. one more thing.. I don't think a strong man should be hitting on kids.. I can't stop my ex husband.. the laws say it's ok.. but I can't make him stop. If I could, I would. He said he might just leave Jackson here after summer because he can't do it anymore but I doubt that will happen.. He would have to admit he is failing.. and I just don't see that happening. But it would be best for him. He needs his mom..not such a harsh father.

Ok.. on to a lighter subject.

Dinner was actually really good! The guys worked late so it was the perfect dinner.

These were super easy to make. I will post step by step pictures tomorrow. I think they would be great for a brunch. They are a little big to just be an appetizer.. but I suppose you could do that if you cooked the eggs so they are not runny. Anyway, great recipe!!

Tomorrow is going to be a rather busy day since I stayed home all day. I wish I would have went out and got my nails done today but I was too lazy.. That is happening tomorrow and I am also going household shopping tomorrow. Then grocery shopping on Saturday. I am so bad with my nails looking bad. Those acrylic nails have just made my natural nails weak and after 6 months, they are still no better. I know it doesn't make good sense to keep damaging my nails but I hate how they look. And my hands are in so many pictures anyway. So yea.. going to get them taken care of asap tomorrow. My lazy days are over till Sunday!

Its late.. I need sleep!
