Back of package
As you can see it has these little beads that targets clogged pores and cleans away impurities.
I have used this stuff on and off since high school. I think I started with those nose strips that we all have tried, and then later I tried this. When I had problems with my skin in my early 20's,,and I found it really did help to clear up and prevent break outs.
So when I saw the new packaging display, I decided to try it again. I don't have many break outs but I do get a few black heads now and then.. so I wanted to see if over time, I would still even like this stuff.
I do! I have some what dry skin and rarely need this kind of cleanser. I prefer to use any product with Salicylic only once or twice a week. The little beads do work great at removing dead skin and giving a smoother look. I sometimes feel a bit of a tightening effect with this product too. However, those little beads are a pain to clean up in a bathtub. I really don't like using this in a bath because those beads stick to the side and are next to impossible to get off. So this is totally a shower or sink product for me.
The smell is the same too.. Pleasantly refreshing and cucumber like. Its not too strong and I really like it. The wash foams into a nice lather and rinses away well. The 'menthol' tingling sensation (something I'd vowed to avoid) is actually really refreshing and nice.
I think it is quite gentle but effective. You can feel it working but it doesn't make your face feel like you're rubbing sandpaper on it! It didn't dry my face too even though I have dry skin. It left my skin feeling some what stripped though because it's scrub and it's not supposed to be moisturizing.. I did exfoliate well and did got rid of my dead skin cells. When you're applying this scrub, you will feel a really fresh feeling.
I am giving this product a
C+
because I think its a pretty average scrub. I there are some better and some worse. My skin has always reacted pretty good to Biorè products and I do recommend this product to people suffering from breakouts or acne. When used daily, it does do a pretty good job of clearing up your skin. But I always use a good moisturizer afterwards.
Here is my quick video review ( from outside!)
So do any of you still use this product or just trying it out? Let me hear your thoughts!
