Thursday begins with..

TEA...

Yep instead of starting this day with coffee, I broke out one of the beautiful teapots and fixed me some tea! Sometimes an easy start to the day is required.. As Today is! Normally Monday and Thursdays start a little later and a little easier. Husby won't be home till at least 830 tonight so this is kinda my day to do what I want. No big plans for today. I have to pick up around here a bit, fold some laundry, and maybe even run to the store later this afternoon or evening. These are the days I feel so grateful for my life. I know many of you have to get up early, roll out in the cold to go work to support your families. I have so much respect for you because I know its not easy. I am sure your family appreciates everything you do for them! I can't even express to my husband how grateful I am for this life. He has given me so much love and support through out the years that I don't know what I would do without him. More about that in today's Married Life Post !!

The tree's are just swaying today. Back and forth.. have you guys ever really just looked at a tree in depth? So strong and they withstand so much. Pretty amazing if you ask me. We live in a little neighborhood at the end of a dead end street and it it is kinda in the country but from the front of the house it looks like any normal middle class neighborhood.. But, when you are in our back yard, it feels like you are totally alone out in the woods. We have a corner lot here and I love it because I get the best of both worlds. I have the nice neighbors in front and in the back we have privacy and miles and miles of woods that come up to the edge of our yard. I am just waiting on spring to come so I can start to get that container garden going on the back deck! Wow.. just as I was typing that.. they said maybe some snow is coming over the weekend from the mountains. Great.. that's just what I wanted to hear!

Wow.. while I am typing that about the trees, the news popped up that we had a funnel cloud a few counties over and a lot of homes are tore up. Really tore up. Thankfully we didn't get that kind of weather here. It was only about 20 miles away though. I feel terrible for those people who's homes are really messed up. I just hope they all had insurance and family they can go stay with till they get it all fixed.. I will try to get some pictures because its pretty bad.

Boy, let me tell you.. Willow has been running around like crazy and she has NO FEAR..

This past week she has been jumping from the first stair to the

railing.. and its super high up. Its at least 20 feet from where she is at, down to the first floor.

She has some of the most amazing jumping abilities. I  know you all are probably saying..

Thats a cat.. they all jump!

Well that's not always the case. Some cats like to be high up and others , like Gabby, prefer to stay lower. Willow could jump to the top of the frig with no running start if she wants. I have seen her do it before! She has actually jumped from that point before down to the first floor. I was scared to death that she would hurt herself  but nope.. she just jumps and keeps going! I think Gabby is having fun with not being pregnant or mothering kittens right now. But you wait.. we will have a litter in the summer sometime and I hope we have 2 litters this next Christmas! I am missing all those babies and can't wait to fill up the house with more kittens!

I have a ton of emails to answer today. I don't know why I suck so badly at responding. I think so many come in and I just don't always have the time to answer them. I wish I had an assistant to answer them for me! But that is what is coming up next.. I should maybe get dressed first. I am sitting here in one of Scotts button downs and while its cute and sexy.. its not something I want to go answer the door in if someone knocks! That's one of my secrets to sleeping with him but not sleeping with him. I just find a big comfy shirt of his and add a couple squirts of his cologne  and its like he is right back next to me!
