Friday Letters ♡

Friday, September 25, 2015
Happy Friday friends! Here is another edition of Friday Letters. - in no particular order!

Dear God, Please give me more patience while I deal with the outside world. I need to be more understanding even with people who seek to lie about me and hurt me. Thank you for listening to my prayers and more importantly thank you for protecting our kids.

Dear Rain, thanks for taking out our electricity last night. Now I have to figure out a way to go back and watch all my Thursday night shows. AND THEY WERE ALL SEASON PREMIERS! Thanks a lot.

Dear Cooper, You look so peaceful lying on your bed right now. And it has to feel better on your elbows and hips.

Dear Coffee, you are like my sweet treat for the day. I might give up soft drinks for the most part but  I NOT giving my coffee. No way...no how!

Dear You Know Who, I would never ever do what you suggested. I don't know why you keep coming to my blog. If you think what you do, then please stay away. I thought you were a good person but you opened my eyes this week. Really you are a stranger and no one important to me. I felt like I was singled out by a bunch of haters and guess what you totally fell for it. I think you need to break out that bible more. You are wrong...wrong..wrong...and it's not easy for me to just drop it. I feel like I have to defend myself but I don't. I am done with this drama. It's amazing to me how catty the online mommy bloggers/youtubers can be.

Dear Scott, sorry you were so cold last night. I think it was just the cold rain coming down. I hope today is not so stressful for you. I love you.

Dear Pope Francis, I am a Catholic but I don't really practice it. After years of Catholic school, I just couldn't handle it any longer. However just seeing your presence in our country and the love you have and are spreading is infectious. And your message do unto others as you would want others to do to you was powerful. It reminded me that I have to remember that my feisty temper is not always the best answer. May God be with you.

Dear Body, I am working on making you healthier and stronger. Hopefully you will thank me one day.

Dear Laci, I am so happy you had a great birthday. I love you so much and glad that you are doing good at work and home. It's all about balance I guess. I am going to work on getting you a fitbit! :) I want mom to get one too.

Dear John Boehner, Your sudden departure as Speaker of the House, was shocking today. I just didn't think that would happen. And you made me totally happy with that announcement. But just maybe it's because you too are tired of the direction your party is going in. I wish you well.

Dear Brittany, I love you so much. All I want is for you the rest of the kids to be able to take yourselves, be good citizens and make a difference. Your everything to me and I am so proud of you.

Dear Romeo, You were so sweet this morning when I woke up to find you under the covers snuggled up against me. You are the best cat I have ever owned and my life is so much better because of you. I would seriously clone you if it was possible. Your attitude, beauty and presence is beyond measure. I love you!

Dear TV, I have to admit that you have gotten better this past week. However, the rain ruined all the new Thursday night shows. * Sigh

Dear Trina, I am so thankful for all your help and advice. I am so glad you are getting a new fitbit and joining in! I can't wait. :) We love you.

Dear Treadmill, we have some more work to do today. 5 miles and I want to get them all in before the sunsets. I use to hate you but not so much anymore.

Dear Jackson, thank you for making more of a effort this past week at school. I know it's not your favorite thing to do but it's really the only thing you have to focus on right now. Just keep trying and we are always here to help you. I love you.

Dear Miranda Kerr, I have always thought you were knock dead gorgeous but after reading this story, I see the beauty goes way deeper than the outside. I am sure those elephants will thank you too.

Dear Laura, I am so proud of you for everything you are doing. I know it's not easy starting a new job but you made it through the first week!!!! :) It's a start and you worked hard in college to get this start. We love you and your dad and I are so very proud of you.

Dear Planning Stickers, I love you. End of story.

Dear Kim Davis, I tear you apart not because of your beliefs but because you hold a public office sworn to uphold the laws of our country. Same sex marriage is legal. You have to deal with that or step down. And your taking your name off the form is not right. You are the clerk....if you don't want your name on there, quit. I support you in your beliefs. I really do. You don't have to like gay marriage but being a public servant, you have to serve our public no matter who they are.

Dear Grandma, I know I don't call like I use to. I miss you so much. We use to talk 4-5 times a day and it's been hard not having you in my everyday life. It's actually heartbreaking. I know you won't read this but somehow maybe the energy from the universe will travel this message around until it reaches you soul. I love you grandma and I am sorry I am not there. I think Rick is trying his best to take care of you and I am sorry if things don't make sense. Your family really does love you. I think it's just hard for them to deal with too. Next time I come up there, I promise I will come see you.

Dear Conservatives, I know you might think you landed on the wrong blog. Don't think that. We might not see eye to eye on Kim Davis, Republicans, and so on but I like hearing your point of view too. Mine are simply different. BUT... I live with a conservative republican and you can totally be on team Scott! :) I can't wait till the next debate.

Dear Mom, thank you for being so inspirational. I know you know what you are talking about. I just have to put in the effort. And again, if I turn into some super mega bitch in the next few days, I ask for forgiveness ahead of time. No Mountain Dew or soft drinks from today on will probably shock my body and mind. I am going to continue sweet tea sometimes but mostly water from this point out.....wish me luck!

Dear Wind, I am surprised you haven't shredded our umbrella or took it for a ride out in the yard or our neighbors yard. I probably wouldn't go fetch it either. It's just so nasty outside but we needed the rain.

Dear Blog/Youtube Friends, Even though there is enough crazy in this world, you guys that have came along with this journey for YEARS who have inspired us, is why I write on this blog and make videos. I am so thankful for the wonderful friendships and relationships that I have made from this. I am thankful for the smart and loving village we have made together where we support each other and lift each other up. You guys have given me some of the best advice on everything and I will never forget it. If you are new here, join in...and share your thoughts and opinions. ♥

Thank you guys for stopping by. I am going to go get in a workout on the treadmill for a while and then get some things done around the house. It's storming right now and it's quiet in the house. I should have a new video up in a couple hours. Come back and check it out! xx

Saturday Randoms

Saturday, September 19, 2015
Hello friends. Here are some Saturday randoms bouncing around in my head. Hope you enjoy!

♥ It's a beautiful day here. Jackson and I actually slept in and it felt really good.

♥ I want to start buying more paintings and pieces of art work that I love. BUT...they are all so expensive. Actually maybe I should start start painting again.

♥ The bathroom smells amazing... like Scott's cologne. It reminds me of him every time I walk in there.

♥ I love all the planner stickers that have been coming in this week. I'm waiting for them all to come in for a sticker haul but it's so hard not using them! - happy happy! -

♥ I feel like my neighbors are mowing their grass later because of my complaining. I feel bad about it too. They have every right to be here and really can mow anytime they want. Mornings use to make me bitch but I am doing better.

♥ Jackson hates school. I'm pretty sure I have told you guys that. His grades could and should be much better. He's grounded and it doesn't even seem to bother him much. Where is his motivation button??? I really need to find it!

♥ I just found out yesterday that one of my uncles has stage 3 cancer. I am not really close with him but he really is one of the nicest family members I have. Maybe I should send a card or something. Not sure.

♥ I have a ton of emails that I need to respond to. I am going to try to get caught up by the weekend. So sorry. I read each one when it arrives but don't always respond in a timely manner.

♥ Scotts work messed up payroll and just cut regular checks. Gosh...that's so inconvenient. Direct deposit makes life so much more simpler. Now I got to go try to make a deposit at the ATM sometime. I guess I shouldn't complain because they at least paid him.

♥ Have you guys heard how Kim Davis is back at it with the gay marriage. She is altering the marriage certificates possibly making them invalid.  This woman seriously needs to get fired. And I hate hate hate the idea of paying her any kind of unemployment. She is totally violating her position. God is love and it makes me sad to think of him as mean or vengeful. She is running her own agenda and in my personal opinion, it has absolutely nothing to do with God.

♥ I think I am going to make some chocolate chip chewy granola bars. If the recipe turns out good, I will be sure to share it with you!

♥ I have had the hardest time figuring out snap chat. I know that sounds silly but for some reason I am at a total loss. I guess I need talk to Brittany Belle. She's the resident 14 year old social media adviser in our home!

♥ Speaking with our kids I get a lot of questions about which kids are here. Brittany is at her dads, Jackson is here. Laura is up where Brittany lives and our other child I cannot talk about. I can't tell if you if they here or not. I can't tell their name. I can't tell you anything. I am sorry if that bothers you but we are basically under a gag order. Just know we love all of our kids and all are doing ok.

♥ I am totally going to go out to the garage in a bit and do a quick pick up of my car. It needs it and shouldn't take too long. I just wonder why it's my car that gets messed up all the time.

♥ Over the weekend I also need to dye my hair. The gray's are showing! I even found a gray eyebrow hair about died. I pulled it right out! I guess I really am getting old.

♥ I was sitting on the back porch earlier and was enjoying some coffee. A few neighborhood kids a couple of houses down were paying outside. They looked so happy and innocent. I loved hearing them giggle. :)

♥ We are thinking that by the end of October, we will probably being buying a hedge hog for Jackson. I have to admit, they are pretty cute. I have been doing a ton of research on them trying to figure out if it would be a good fit for our home and family. It would live primarily in a cage with all the hamster wheels and such. Pretty easy maintenance from what I have read and might be a nice pet for a 13 year old little boy. I don't know really but trying to figure it out. If you have a hedgehog I would love to hear about your experiences. :) And yes... the new puppy will also be happening soon...I hope!

♥ I am thinking about going to the farmers market. However, I know I will want to buy a pumpkin and it's just too early! But some fresh fruit and veggies sound good.

♥ I also still need to find a new grill. I saw that Walmart would put them together for free if we buy it there. Considering Scott doesn't really even know what a hammer is for, it would really help! So maybe I can find one on sale. My little old fallen apart grill is still out in the yard and while it still does a great job of cooking our food, it looks bad and Scott hates it!

♥ I was talking with a girlfriend who really hates her job. She was telling me how awful it was and it simply made me feel grateful for being able to stay home. My ex husband worked hard and I got to stay home while the kids were young and Scott works hard enough for both of us...← his words not mine! I am blessed to be here everyday and I don't take one minute for granted.

I hope you having a wonderful weekend. I will be back later with a new video! xx

Tuesday Truths

Tuesday, September 15, 2015

- I am so ready for the debate tomorrow evening! It's going to be a lot of fun to watch. I can't wait to see how Donald Trump acts.

- It's so freaking hard for me to get down all the new vitamins I am taking. It kinda makes me sick just thinking about it. I guess that's the trick...NOT TO THINK ABOUT IT! Hopefully they will do some good.

- I am trying to give up some of the sugar I love so much. I think it having a " bitch effect " on me. I was just snappy as ever yesterday. Not angry just not nice. Take my carbs away and I get angry....but still trying.

- I haven't gotten on the treadmill yet today and my body is aching. Walking really does loosen things up a little more. Gosh... I must be getting old for everything to pop and ache. :(

- Someone did something not so nice to one of our kids last week and we are still dealing with it. I could ring their necks but the outcome is nothing like they wanted. We win. But it's had a lasting effect I am afraid.

- Earbuds are becoming a hot commodity in our home. I won't share my Apple ear buds because they always come back broken or even worse they get lost. I guess the boys are going to have to start taking better care of theirs.

- I keep looking for houses to move into. I am kinda conflicted. Should I stay here until I move up to Indiana again or do I move to a country house and get up north later? Idk what to do. I stay in and try to not bother the neighbors. I try to be kind to all the stray animals around here. I really don't think the neighborhood is bad but I miss a country house. I want to walk to the mail box without being seen. I want to be able to talk on the phone on my porch without being heard. Hopefully God will lead us to the right house either here or in Indiana.

- I hate to complain but now that the air conditioning is working on the 2nd floor, its freezing all the time upstairs. I was so cold last night. I should have went and cuddled with Scott but then I would have to deal with wild kingdom in there plus his snoring. I just froze alone in bed all night.

- I actually watched Cinderella last night. I totally want the black Persian cat in the movie and I like that the 2015 movie is not as animated. Wonder if you guys knew that Scott got down on his knee at the Disney Castle!? It was silly but it was one of the first big vacations we took before we got married. It was fun but really not my idea of a vacation. Yea...tons of kids...hot sweaty days hiking around a theme park is so overrated in my opinion. Anyway, the movie was great!

- My phone has been blowing up with emails. Guess what? Youtube got their crap together and the comments are coming back through! Yay!! Thank you guys for all your kind words.

- The woman in this story kinda shocked me this week. I can handle death photos but her smirk is a little too much. It's not her dead husband that bothers me...it's the kids and the mom looking freaking happy. Sorry... I try to not judge other mothers but what the hell. To me it just seems cruel rather than a public service announcement. And FYI...I could totally watch Intervention or something to see the effects....not a happy photos of mom and kids and dads funeral. *Sigh.

- I've made peace with Hilary not winning the Presidential election. I guess many people are worried about those emails. Each to their own because the email mess doesn't bother me in the least. I am starting to think it's actually going to be Donald Trump. Who knows...we'll see.

- I feel like another one of our kids is drifting further and further away. We are paying every night for them and hope before long our prayers are answered. Raising kids is one of the hardest jobs out there...and their is no one size fits all with them. Each is different and patience is required to say the least. However, I feel like I am lost in a deep rabbit hole.  [ Sorry if you don't understand but I can't really speak much about it in detail. ]

- I got up and placed a large Inkwell Press Order. It went live at 10am with all the new 2016 planners and accessories. I can't wait until they come in! If you haven't checked out their products yet you can right here. This is one of the only planners that I have used for the ENTIRE YEAR! I did try going back to the Erin Condren for a couple of days but sorry...the paper quality is so amazing. EC Planners do not compare and they cost more.

- Bindi - The Crocodile Hunters daughter - was on Dancing with the Stars last night. I totally teared up over the clip about her dad who died so tragically. She danced really good too opposed to Paula Dean. Bindi is my favorite! Erin Andrews is doing a great job too. Actually I liked the Marine guy, and I also liked watching Nick Carter dance! I am happy happy some of my favorite shows are coming back on! TV has been so bleak lately where I have wanted to cancel the cable but it's slowly getting better. :)

- Scott has been unhappy with me a little bit because I refuse to go to the movies. I am still kinda ok with the Imax but personally I don't want to die for the new Mission Impossible movie. I would rather watch it in the saftey of my own home. Scott thinks fear is only going to hold me back but I think it's going to keep us alive. Isn't it sad how things have changed? If I do go to the movies, I constantly watch the exit doors and everyone who is moving around. I feel like a sitting duck. And yes....I am scared to even send my kids to school which is so sad.

- Carly Fiorina has been slowly moving up. I don't mind listening to her ramble on but what pisses me off is she says she is for womens rights but opposes funding to Planned Parenthood, Opposes womans maternity leave....anti choice and so much more. I think it will be so fun to watch Donald Trump tear her to pieces. She is nothing about women. And don't send me emails. It is what it is...look it up.

- Scott is home today from work. He's out mowing the grass. A silent lawn mower would be nice? Do they even make those? I guess soon I won't have to worry about it. Come October we probably won't have to mow anymore.

- I got one of my credit cards paid off this week! I was paying for a camera I got a while ago and now that bill is gone. Yay!!

- I am thinking about signing up for a calligraphy class. It's something I have wanted to do for a while and I think it would be fun and I think it would be so nice to know how to make all those beautiful letters. Not sure though if I should do an online class or actual class. Knowing me....it will be a online class.

- My grandmother is not doing well. I wish I had the courage to try to talk to her more. I don't think she remembers me and it's so heart breaking. I think my mom is changing her travel plans over Thanksgiving to just go be with her. I am not sure if I can get it worked out with Scott to be up there over Thanksgiving and Christmas both or not but I totally understand.

- Cooper's meds from the Vet didn't seem to help. Guess I got to call and try to get something different and probably stronger. It won't be long before we will have to carry him up the stairs every night. It's sad to see. We are trying to get the extra weight off of him which is not so easy. And we are trying a ton of things to make it better for him.

I hope you guys are having a great Tuesday. I will be back a little later with a new video. Be sure to come back and check it out!

Tuesday Truths

Tuesday, September 8, 2015

Hello friends! I hope you are having a great day. Here is another edition of Tuesday Talks & Truths. Hope you enjoy!

- Our air conditioning is acting crazy again on the 2nd floor. Yesterday it was registering over 100 degrees up there. Last night in the coolest of part of the day, it was registering 85. Hopefully the guy will be here soon to look at it. We bought more fans just to get through it and Scott couldn't handle it and slept downstairs where it is so much cooler. What a night.

- I have felt a little lost with my videos on youtube. But I don't think I am quitting but maybe slowing down a little instead. But who knows. I actually have a food haul coming up later today. It's long over due according to the boys.

- Scott is off work today....hummmm....I wonder if I can get him to go grocery shopping with me. Ha! Betting not.

- The lion killer made it back to work today. He said he would have never killed the lion if he knew it had a name. Does that satisfy you? Me not so much. I think it's all ego based killing such beautiful animals and I think it should be criminal. Him sitting in a South African jail sounds about right to me. Not forever but I would settle on how much longer the lion would have likely lived and make that his sentence. But that's just me. No dentists were harmed in him going back to work. Unlike Cecil.

- 2015 has been a harder year on our family. I won't get into details but it's been a hell of a year and I think we all just need a break. I hope God is hearing our prayers.

- I found a house I like but Scott says it's too far away. Maybe I should just make the move up north and be done with it. We are actually trying to get some personal things done here first so who knows.

- I need to clean out the frig before I go shopping. Yuck.

- I woke up and got right on the treadmill this morning. I hate feeling dizzy afterwards but I think it is helping by waking up my muscles so I don't hurt as much during the day. I think that bad accident in 2000 is finally showing back up in the aches and pains. :(

- My little Jackson figured out the passcode to take the restrictions off his phone and xbox. He's in trouble to say the least and I bet he won't break the code this time. Teenagers.

- The clerk in court has filed for an appeal. I guess she wants out but if she can't do her job and sign those marriage licensees then maybe she should stay there. She works for Kentucky....and if she can't do it, then she should resign. I also don't think some goofy Republicans going and seeing her means anything. She's been married 4 times. What a hypocrite. I think she is doing this for the attention more than anything. → Breaking News ← She's being released. Wonder how she is going to continue to do her job. It's going to be interesting.

- It looks like it's about to rain. Please let it rain.....it might just cool things down a bit.

- Super Cooper had such an amazing time at the state park. We are going to have to take him swimming more often.

- I need to menu plan and write out my grocery list. Still so much to do before I ever get to that store.

- I really need to clean up and organize the 2nd floor hallway closet. I have no idea how it got so messy so fast.

- The new season of The View was back on today. People say that ship has already sank but I did enjoy Joy Beher being back on today. However, they seem to have wayyyy to many hosts. Not sure what is going on there but whatever. We'll see what happens. I am just happy a few shows back on for a new season.

- Scott is binging and banging upstairs so much right now. What is he doing? I don't even want to go find out.

- Damon Wayans has to be one of the biggest idiots of all time. He said those woman who said Cosby raped them were unrapeable. WTF? I'll never watch anything he's in again. Never. He wasn't even that funny anyway.

- I think we are hosting Thanksgiving this year. Any family reading are welcome to come. ♥

- Donald Trump is soaring ahead of everyone again. He might just be our next President folks. I am not sure how I feel about him but for some reason....I enjoy watching and listening to him.

I hope you guys are having a great day! I should be back this evening with a new food haul. Be sure to come back and check it out.

Tuesday Truths

Tuesday, July 28, 2015

:: It's felt really good the past few days of being able to sleep in and not be in such a hurry all day long. I am still trying to get back into the swing of things though.

:: I keep thinking about the two 14 year old boys who are lost at sea. When did young boys start sailing 19 feet boats on their own?? You can't even drive at that age but they were out in the ocean without any supervision? Is it just me that wonders why the hell the parents would allow that? I pray they are still alive and that we find them soon. #FindAustinAndPerry

:: Sometimes I think my husband would like me to change up into a 1950's housewife just so he don't have to hear me complain. Too bad. I will never be the kind of person who sits back and keeps my mouth shut with a smile on my face.  It just won't happen. God didn't make me that way. I am never going to try to be someone I am not.

:: Its been so hot here lately. I have been having to keep the sliding doors closed most of the day to let the air help cool things down...until the sunsets. And then I am opening the house back up. I need fresh air!

:: Bobbi Christina is finally at peace with her mom. Talk about tragic. I have felt for a while that she was already gone. I think they needed each other so much and now they can finally be at peace together. But it's still really really sad.

:: Brittany and I had such a good time while we were away. I love the Biltmore and so did she. It was the perfect mother daughter trip and we made a ton of memories. Sorry some didn't like her clothes or what have you. I am proud of her all the way around and mean hateful comments will get your ass blocked. FOREVER.

:: Donald Trump is giving me all kinds of giggles here lately. :) I would never ever vote for him but I do find him entertaining to say the least!

:: I had a tooth removed on the bottom back last year and I think my teeth have shifted all around and my mouth kinda feels weird. Sight....guess I need to make a dentist appt for myself as well as Jackson.

:: Here's another story in the news that got my attention. Two brothers were burnt beyond belief ( see story here ) because their daycare didn't put sunscreen on them during a waterpark trip. I would flip out so badly over that. I would probably commit a felony over that happening to my kids. What a neglectful bunch of idiots at that daycare. I feel so sorry for the kids who didn't deserve to be in that kind of pain. What kind of people allow that to happen?

:: My purse is a disaster. I am actually using a large one that I like to use for travel so I am going to switch it out today. I can't live with it this way.

:: A couple of our neighborhood houses got sold. So now I get to listen to home repairs happening right now. It's one of those big loud saws that annoy me to no end. I seriously need a country home. I am just not that happy with neighbors. I pretty much keep to myself and stay away from most of them. It's just not my thing.

:: Jackson looks like he grew over the summer at his dads. Most of the clothes he went up with seem too tight or little on him now. Glad it's time for some back to school shopping. He needs new clothes asap.

:: I need to work in my planner today. I didn't have a plan to do anything yesterday except recoup after a long week with Brittany. It was an amazing time but I needed a break. It's time to get back at it now though.

:: I cleaned out the frig Sunday and it felt so good. I needed to do it before I left on our Biltmore Trip and didn't....so when I got home we had some science experiments going on. I cleaned it from top to bottom which took a good hour and now it looks amazing. Yea!

:: For some reason my lavender is struggling this year. I might try to replant it and see if that helps. Something is wrong.

:: I have a lot of giveaway prizes and such to mail out. Please be patient. I plan on getting all that handled this week. Promise! :)

I hope you guys are having a great Tuesday! I'll be back a little later with a new video. xx

Week in Review October 27 - November 3, 2014 Happy Halloween...Happy Birthday Brittany Belle

Monday, November 3, 2014

Hello friends! I hope you are having a wonderful Monday. As many of you know... I post a week in review recapping what happened over the week & weekend. Its something that I have been doing off and on for years. Its just a simple way to give you guys a glimpse into our weekend. I also vlogged a little each day which you can see in the video below. I have been trying to move all my video's to my main channel including the vlogs but for right now I am uploading them to both channels. I think that is the best way to do it right now but eventually they will probably all move to my housewife life main youtube channel. I hope you don't mind but I have been trying to figure out a way to make everyone happy. I don't expect you to watch them twice but now you will be able to find my vlogs on both channels. ↓Here it is↓ Hope you enjoy! More pictures and info below!

This Past Week:

I think many of us have been hit with a jolt of cold weather....which is the way the week started out for us. It turned from 77 degree days to 40 degree days overnight. I am not one who enjoys the cold so finding motivation to do anything than sit in front of a warm fireplace has been hard. I'm serious...I've been known to stay in the house for a week straight just due to cold weather. Yea....I am way too tropical for freezing temperatures. I know you guys are feeling it too. Leaves have been falling off the trees faster due to all the wind and the rain and gone are the days of open windows and doors. I really love fresh air....warm air that is, so I am none too excited for winter. I think its going to be worse than ever this year. We'll have to wait and see! Thankfully on Monday I stayed in and just worked on the computer all day long. And I still didn't get caught up. I switched my weekly cleaning to Tuesdays so I was happy at home for the first 2 days of the week.

By time Wednesday rolled around, I finally got up and ran errands and went to the store. I was seriously dreading it. The wind was whipping my little bug all over the road but I slowly got there and slowly made my way around the store.

Jackson was totally upset because somehow someway when his friend was here, his new little tablet got broken. Yea... I was none too happy and Jackson was so upset he was crying. He had just bought it a week before on his birthday with his own money. Even though I was mad as hell that yet another electronic was broken, I felt so sorry for him. I grabbed the tablet with the box and took off to Walmart. I planned on shopping at my local Ingles but Jackson's dilemma had me at Walmart.....so that's where I did all the shopping this week.

And let me just say... It took a total of an extra 1 hour and 20 minutes to get the tablet exchanged. Not that I am not happy and grateful but it just made the day extra long. I stood in the looooong customer service line not 1....not 2 ....but 3 times.

I was totally exhausted by time I got home. Jackson was thrilled but he has to learn to take better care of his stuff. And the kids wonder why I don't share my laptop and phone. No thanks. Hopefully he learned something this time and we won't have this problem again but I'm not holding my breath on it. Both Brittany and Jackson are extremely hard on electronics and when they broke an iphone and tablet over the summer we were all pretty over it. I just refuse to keep replacing expensive electronics because they can't take care of them. Accidents happen but wow...thank you Walmart for changing it out.

In the middle of the week, we finally got carving our pumpkins for Halloween. I have to admit, Scott's is better than mine because I messed up the bottom of the cat. But it was a lot of fun and we all had a great time together as a family carving pumpkins. Scott is 46 and totally enjoys it one time of year.

Its totally a tradition as it is in many homes and we are slowly getting better at it. Jackson didn't want his shown because it didn't turn out exactly right but I was happy he was there trying anyway. We didn't have a single tick or treater and we live in a neighborhood with kids. I totally don't get it... just like I don't get why NO ONE swims in the lake by our house. But we had a fun little dinner and enjoyed the night in. Really it was too cold and wet for anything else.

Over the weekend, I finally got my roots touched up. I am in love with the root touch ups because I am happy with the color of my hair over all but every time the roots grew out, I was doing an entire dye job. Now with the little root touch up kits, it makes it so easy and so much faster. I was one in 10 minutes and totally happy with the results.

Sunday rolled around and guess who turned 13 years old!? Yep, my Brittany Belle is growing up so fast and I really couldn't be prouder. She really is someone I adore and I am thankful for her fresh optimistic outlook even at her young age. Really she seems much older than 13 which is totally freaking scary. And its hard not being there with her day in and day out. I understand all her friends live where her dad lives and I choose to relocate due to Scott's work. She didn't want to leave and I didn't want to force her. But even though we are apart, I pretty much know everything going on with her and where she is all the time. We are constantly on the phone, email, texting, skyping... mailing packages and even though I feel like a failure with her most of the time, she thinks I am the best mom in the world. She makes straight A's, on the cheer team, compassionate, and full of drama like any young teenager would be! But we are so proud of her and I love watching her grow up. Happy Happy Birthday Brittany Belle.

So if you watched the vlog, you know that I got really emotional over another Brittany. Brittany Maynard. This beautiful 29 year old woman with terminal brain cancer took her own life on Sunday. It hit me soooooo freaking hard. She said that she was going to wait and not go through it on November 1 so naturally I didn't think it would be the next day. Her story breaks my heart and I just can't imagine having to make that choice and your family having to live with it. Lets all lift her family and her soul in our prayers. It totally tore me apart when I saw it Sunday evening. Tears came rushing down my face and my poor husband had no idea how to make it better. It just hurts and I don't even personally know her. She totally touched my life and on my Brittany's birthday it was another Brittany's death day. Wow... crying again. On the right is her last message on facebook. Please keep her family in your prayers.

May she forever rest in peace. ♥

Here's my to do list for the week...

  • Adapt to Scott's new Schedule. Now he is getting off at 6 instead of 8 on Mondays...off Tuesday...and doesn't go back in until 11am on Wednesdays. WOW. I thought Tuesday was a better cleaning day but maybe should try to stick to Monday. I am happy he might just get some time off.
  • Wash winter jackets. I keep putting it off but I really need to do it.
  • Give cats a bath on the warmest day of the week... Looks like it will be on Tuesday or Wednesday.
  • Gather up rest of empties for Octobers Favorites video.
  • Call and check on my mom. She was pretty messed up over some dental surgery but I think she is starting to feel better.
  • Pray more. Always pray more.
  • Call old friend and find out what her test results are. I am heartbroken that she may be battling thyroid cancer. I would be broken if something happened to her. Pray more. She is seriously one of the best people I know. And no... it's not Shanna.
  • Watch Fireproof your Marriage. It's on Netflix and I have been meaning to watch it for a while.
  • Quickly get the kitchen drawers organized....thanks Jackson for putting nothing where it belongs!
  • Film videos in a timely manner.
  • I know it might sound trashy but maybe get some of that tightening plastic wrap stuff for some of the windows to keep it warmer in this big house. Last year in the heart of winter our power bill was over $600 for just one month. Who knows... it couldn't hurt to insulate it a little better.
  • Schedule a tour of the Montessori school for Jackson. Just incase we need to move him.
  • Try to stop eating so many Goldfish Vanilla Cupcake Grahams. They are sooooo yummy!
  • Get to bed before 1am every night. Wish me luck... I need lots to make that happen.
  • Remember Coopers daily workouts.
  • Check the PO Box....before the mean mail people call me up complaining.
  • Figure out the Thanksgiving schedule today.....gotta call Trina
  • Dump old shows on the DVR.
  • Reply to many many emails....today.
  • File away old paperwork... which will probably happen on desk day.
  • Do the planner tag.... since I was tagged! Stay tuned for that video later in the week!
  • Check Etsy for shipment updates.
  • Start putting together Christmas list for friends and family. I want to buy a little at a time until it's done. I don't expect to go in debt for the Holidays. Instead I am planning early and sticking to a budget.
Here's some inspiration to take you through the week.....really it's like a self reminder!

I hope you have a beautiful and blessed week.

Inside my head...Tuesday Thoughts

Tuesday, October 21, 2014

Happy Tuesday friends. I thought I would just do a quick check in today because I miss writing. I make a lot of videos now but often times, I don't get to just sit down  and write. And writing is my first passion. So I thought today I would share some of the thoughts bouncing around in my head. Have run reading!

* The first time I was woken up this morning was about 745 am. I guess the boys had left and Romeo didn't like the idea of being in the house alone. So his big ass went up to flights of stairs and sat at the only door closed and meowed over and over and over and over and over. Seriously...he didn't stop until I got up and opened the door. And then he just wanted to play and I just wanted to sleep. If I moved around in any direction, he would totally attack my feet, arms, even hair. But how can I get mad at this boy? BTW...that was on of his fall pictures last year...he's never outside without extreme supervision. He means the world to our entire family but I didn't appreciate his harassment this morning. And to make it even better.....hes totally sound asleep right now.

*  I finally did fall back to sleep even kitty bites on my toes and woke up so abruptly with the loud ass door bell. So I had another bunch of unexpected issues pop up. At that point, I gave up and never went back to bed. Gosh...guess God is trying to tell me to drag my butt out of the bed and enjoy the beautiful day.

* Yesterday I stopped my weekly cleaning on the 2nd floor. That means today I have to work on the first floor. Yippe.

* For some reason I have been making the coffee super strong, so Scott says. I was trying to stick to budget and bought Folgers this last time. I think its just a stronger coffee Gevalia. But he's right...its so strong it could probably walk itself right out the front door.

* My sons math homework has finally reached the point where I can no longer help him. I have never been good with numbers but his 6th math homework drives me crazy. Thank God for Scott being able to help with that subject otherwise we'd be in trouble.

* My sister in law Trina has her daughter in the hospital sick and taking care of her 3 month old baby boy. They kept her daughter overnight and it is sure worrying me.

* Oscar Pistorius was convicted today and is to serve 5 years for shooting his girlfriend. I actually agree with that sentence...Here's what I think happened. It was reported that he was texting his ex girlfriend that night. New girl friend realizes it...flips out...goes and locks herself in the bathroom and he tries to get in to talk to her and can't. So he grabs his gun to try to shoot the door open. I don't think he meant to kill her but it happened. Its sad all the way around. See...that's how fast a fight can turn deadly.

* I am thinking about switching over to wordpress. Still not sure though. Decisions Decisions. For the most part Google has been really good to me so idk. Maybe I should stay right here. Do you have any thoughts on the subject ?

* I realized a little while ago that the clothes I laid out for Jackson to wear today were in my room...I simply forgot to put them out. No telling what he is wearing today.

* The clock is ticking today and so far, I have made a few phone calls, replied to some emails and refilled my coffee. Yea.. its a good thing husby works late. We still have at least 6.5 hours before he gets home. I'm just thankful that they are selling more cars at this dealership even though I love Volkswagen. And FYI....there is no way in hell I am coming out of my bug and going into a Dodge. Yep.. not happening! I do miss him though. Its really long days and he comes home exhausted.

* I think I am going to try to have some professional stickers made for my Erin Condren planner. A few shops on Etsy that I am hoping can help design them for me!

* I have totally been loving Madam Secretary. It comes out I have been loving Téa Leoni in a serious part..It comes on Sunday's at 8:30 on CBS. Check it out!

* I have got a ton of paperwork and bills to go through.  A job I am seriously dreading. Did you see all the mail I showed you in my most recent vlog? Ha....time to break out the shredder and get busy.

* I was asked to be interviewed by a student at New York University about my haul videos via skype. How fun is that!? I think we are doing it tomorrow.....so maybe I can record it and show you guys.

* I haven't been feeling that good here lately. Sneezing, throat and earache but no fever. I guess its just the change of the weather but it sucks.

* I really need to get busy getting my makeup brushes cleaned TODAY. Yea.. that is totally happening today.

* Erin Condren blew out my facebook fan page. They posted this video on their facebook fan page and now I have a bunch of new friends! How amazing is that. If you are new here....welcome! I hope you stay around for a while and get to know us.

* I hate not being able to find freebies. I have been searching high and low but its been slim pickings. I do have a new free magazine deal that I will get posted in just a bit. Hopefully they pick back up in the winter. Don't ask me why...but they always slow down in the summer months.

* I have someone who harrasses me, steals my pictures and content and have already stolen my header and a few other things to promote their hate Kisha blog. It's ridiculous and I am trying to just roll with it but I wish I could throw their ass in jail. But positive thoughts...There is no such thing as bad publicity is what I keep telling myself but to be completely honest, its total bullshit. I know they are broken and I am trying to forgive but they are sure making it harder.

* I think I am going to see if I can get any of the cats to walk on the treadmill! Yep. Lets see if I can make it happen. Training the dog was easy.....which I plan on filming a video showing you how to do it, but I want to see how the cats will handle it. Should be interesting. :)

* You guys are so awesome. I love that you use the form on my contact me page to send me emails. Know that I read them pretty much the second they come in unless I am driving. I try to respond back on the weekend so don't think I have forgot about you. You guys inspire and life me up so much.

* I am seriously loving my nails right now. They are long, strong, and natural! I do have a acrylic overlay over my natural nails too keep them from breaking but I am totally happy with how they are growing. I found a great lady who does such a good job on my nails.  I sometimes paint them myself but I am not so good at it but I like a more natural nail. I would feel like a freak with bright colors on my nails being they are long unless its neutral and natural looking. I don't like to stand out because of my nails. So right now... I am super happy with how they are growing and staying strong.

* I have a fresh flower review coming up. I am excited to share with you some beautiful flowers that you can get a discount with if you want to order some for yourself or someone else. I love fresh flowers in the house.

* I am getting super tired of all the political commercials. I wish they would at least label each political ad with the party they stand with. Yea.. I want to know. I would sooner put my dog in the white house before I put some old timer Republican in. It's just how I feel. I am really really really hoping Hillary Clinton is our next President.

* Jackson has been having a few issues on the school bus. I called the school Monday and they said they would look into it. But suggested I pick him up if he was being picked on. WTF? Yea.. not So far they have done nothing. I'm afraid between ex husband and Scott one of them are going to get on that bus and end up on CNN. My ex husband said send him to school with pepper spray and if he needs it, he has it. Ugh...I'm pretty sure Jackson would be tossed out of school for the year if he did that. It's hard when schools just fall short on helping their students. They did send a really sweet card home the other day but I think the bus issue needs to be addressed to. Call me crazy, but I think they should deal with the bullies and not make me come pick up my son. That just sounds lazy to me. Hopefully today will be better for him.

* Thank goodness what I need to do today is quick because I am kinda running behind. But I'll be caught up before Scott walks in the door. I also have another blog post and video that should be up later this evening. Stay tuned.

I hope you have a great day.. time to get busy. ♥ Feel free to let me know how your day is going....I would love to know!

Friday Letters! ♥

Friday, October 17, 2014

Happy Friday friends! Here are a few little Friday letters.....hope you enjoy! I also want to point out that these are in no kind of order except God being at the top... besides that, I type them as they pop in my head.

Dear God, Thank you for helping me see the error of my ways this past week. I think you know that I am really trying and I totally appreciate life being a little easier this week. Please continue to surround my family in your white light and protect us.

Dear Scott, I am so happy you are back to work. I love you very much and know I shouldn't complain BUT...I really do hate your late hours. Jackson and I miss you. Thanks for making the coffee this morning.

Dear Romeo, why are your eyes watering so much. Maybe you have kitty allergies or something but it looks uncomfortable, I know you hate having them cleaned out...so maybe it's time to get you to the Vet.

Dear Macy, This picture was simply perfect. I loooooooved it and probably would have had the same face if was shaking hands with Hilary Clinton. You look like a girl who just got the best gift ever! Not 1 kitten but the 2 kitten face with overwhelming joy! I think it's adorable. And now you have a one hell of a picture to show off for the rest of your life...And I loved Hilarys Face too! This picture just made me smile.......as it did many many other people! I personally think you just shook hands with the next President of the United States. We'll see!

Dear Trina & Shanna, Yep...I am grouping you girls together because I love you both so much. You both are such great listeners and give me such honest advice but with love. I need to hear it sometimes. Thank you for being there for our family and me because we need all the support we can get! You both are simply amazing and your lives are pretty interesting too! :) And Trina, you guys need to come for Thanksgiving!

Dear Cooler Weather, I love the colors of the fall and using the fireplace but what I love more is fresh air. But I really like the windows and doors open more. So I am not looking forward to winter really at all.

Dear Brittany Belle, I am glad you have enjoyed your fall break but ready to head back and kick butt. I am very proud of you and love you with all my ♥.

Dear Grandma, I miss you. I feel so bad because you are my last living grandmother and your in another state where I can't even see you. I know its hard to talk on the phone and I don't call as much but I love you and I truly miss you. I wish we could go back in time where I could call and talk to you 10x a day.

Dear Brittany Maynard, I keep thinking about you. I have started thinking you have put a time clock on your life. On November 1...gone. Why that date? How do you know for sure that on November 1st, you will have a happy comfortable day with your husband....which might lead to November 2nd and so on. I don't know if I could ever take part in a family member ending their own life. Its just too heart breaking. Your not an animal that needs put to sleep....in my opinion, you need to be a girl that fights for her life.

Dear Jackson, I am so proud of all your good grades. You are doing better this year and it makes me so happy. But you don't need to complain about homework. Just get it done because as you go through the rest of middle school and high school....your homework is really going to increase. Get use to it and no complaining! Don't take your education for granted.

Dear Stomach, please stop hurting. I have a lot to do today.

Dear Laci, You are one of the busiest people I know. You are always going here, there and everywhere! I love and miss you and love it that we talk much more now. You are growing up into such a beautiful person. I love you sis.

Dear Ebola, I feel like you are going to spread like wildfire. None of us trust you and you even got your own apps. The Ebola Project will let you know so many things including where the danger areas are and how close someone who is infected is to you. Its crazy......see why I like staying home?

Dear Mom, I have talked to you in a while.....we'll have to catch up soon. Love you.
Dear Bedroom Closet, its time to get into you and get the warmer clothes out. Plus I allowed you to get kinda messy. So we have a day date coming up soon.

Dear Jenny, thank you for making my nails the way I wanted.

Dear Sting,  I think I loved you from the first time I hear your voice. And this video with Jimmy Fallon was amazing! I loved it! I am probably going to have to record the end of this video on my phone and use it as my own VM!

Dear Jordan, I hope you are doing well. I talked to your dad the other day and checked in on you. I love you and wish you would start talking when you call. 5 seconds of courage is all you need.

Dear Cooper, I hope the new flea meds help. I hated not listening to the Vet but the all natural stuff wasn't working. So now hopefully those little bugs will die and we won't have to worry about it any longer. And hey...the neighbor thinks you have lost some weight! So maybe the work outs are paying off!

Dear Coffee, even though we are in the afternoon....you still taste absolutely wonderful. However, I have peed 50 times since I woke up so maybe its time I stop substituting lunch with coffee.

Dear Buddy, it was good catching up with you the other day. I'm sorry I had to cut it short but I'll call back soon!

Dear Laura, I felt so bad for you yesterday. I could hear how tired you were. Hopefully the baby will be here soon and you can start feeling better. No matter what, its going to be exhausting for a while but I promise it will get easier. We love you.

Dear Blogger Template, you are totally messing up so I am switching you around this weekend. It might be a long process but I am so tired of you messing up.

Dear Blog/Youtube Friends, Thank you for stopping by and making my day with your sweet emails and comments. I am inspired by you and I hope you have a great weekend.
