Quick Aldi Food Haul | Video |

Hello everyone. Today I had a few errands to run and Aldi was one. I picked Aldi this time because I didn't need as much, it's close to the house and it's pretty fast to get through. They don't carry everything I want, but normally I can save money and get the majority of things there. Here's a quick look at what I got....hope you enjoy! 

I won't lie...I did miss Meijers. I am shocked that I got use to it so fast but I will probably go again mid week if we need anything. I was thankful  that I got in and out of Aldi's in about 30 minutes. Gotta love that! Thanks so much for stopping by. My next video will be a new cooking vlog! xx

Catching Up: DITL Vlog: Moving Right Along with Scott & a New Food Haul!

Hello everyone! Can you believe its Friday!? I guess I have really been neglecting this little blog of mine and for that I am sorry. I actually love it here. I just need to love it enough to get back to get back on schedule. Everything has been a little off since we announced that we are moving. I have been busy packing up our house while Scott is busy learning a new business. Plus there are things going on with ALL the kids right now keeping us pretty busy! I did vlog throughout the week. I share what's been going on around here....however you might want to get a coffee or tea, it's a long one! Hope you enjoy. 

This past Monday I had some shopping I needed to do. We cleaned out the freezers on Sunday. I just didn't have a ton of meat or anything. I also made a more kid friendly menu with the boys on Sunday night to get ready for the shopping. Here's what we are having and what I got.

I normally don't post videos together but I want to try to get caught up with the vidoes and blog. I am slowly starting to film again and I hope to have more videos up in the coming days and weeks. I also hope to have a new edition of Friday letters up this evening. :) Happy Friday friends! xx

Shopping Haul | Aldi & Walmart | Video

Hello and happy weekend to you all! It's a slow moving day around our home. Both kids slept in late as did I and we feel great today. Well....lazy but great! Yesterday I got busy doing a little shopping to get us through. I feel like we are going to need more for dinners next week but I will go again in a few days. I honestly didn't want to be out yesterday and was just in a hurry to get it done. I went to Aldi and Walmart. Hope you enjoy!

Large Food & Household Shopping Haul | Aldi & Ingles |

Hello friends. I hope you are having a wonderful evening. I am back tonight sharing a new food and household shopping haul. I was suppose to go on Friday but the snow came and I never made it out until today. I share our menu plan for this next week along with everything we got. Hope you enjoy!

We have another snow day tomorrow. I think it's too snowy and icy in a lot of neighborhoods for the all the buses to get around.  The kids are loving it! Anyway, tomorrow I hope to finally get that new camera that should have been here already. I don't really like filming with the camera I was using so I am beyond ready for it to get here. If everything goes as planned, I hope to get a review and giveaway up in the evening hours. :) I am however, skipping a vlog tomorrow but I should still have a week in review up. Hope you are staying cozy and comfortable while we all wait on it to warm up! xx

Hello friends! I hope your evening is going well. It's been a long day for me and I am totally happy to be home relaxing at this point in the evening. It's been a day of menu planning, searching and printing for coupons, and then shopping...bringing it home, making a video, editing, uploading...finally getting it all put away. - Woooooh....see it's a lot! - Anyway, I bought a lot from Ingles, Aldi's and Walmart. In order to get the best deals I had to shop around. Some of this is for Thanksgiving but some is also for us leading up before Thanksgiving and after. My mom is bringing the big turkey and a bunch of other stuff which is totally nice and helpful.

Aldi Food Shopping Haul & Menu Plan

Hello everyone! Happy Thursday to you all. For today's video I thought I would share my 2nd ever trip to Aldi's. I am shocked because I feel like I got a lot for how much I spent. Idk for sure because I don't really do price books but I think we came out pretty good. If you want an idea of the meals we will be having this week, plus the groceries we got, enjoy the video! :)

I think I will start doing some mini reviews on some of the products I have found at Aldi's.  I know that many of you have been shopping at Aldi's for a while but it's still pretty new to me. :) I didn't need a ton of produce this trip but I last time I loaded up and it all tasted great! If you have favorites from Aldi's I would love to hear what they are!

My First Ever Aldi Shopping Haul!!!! | Walmart Haul |

Hello friends! It's a super rainy day here in the Carolina's. Actually it poured down all night. Trying to find any motivation in this weather is next to impossible. I woke up early and have basically been dozing off and on most of the day. I gotta get on the treadmill soon though and get some miles in. :) Anyway, I am back sharing a new Aldi Shopping Haul! Our town just opened a new store and I decided to check it out. It had been years since I had been in a Aldi's. I was a taken back at the way the store is set up but it works. If you forget something in that isle you are in when you go through the door, it hard to go back. You are kinda going against the traffic of the store. But I wondered through and really tried to figure out what was a good deal and what they had to offer. The truth is, I am not the best with numbers and it's hard for me to remember what things cost store to store. Maybe one of those big price books would be handy to make! Anyway, I feel like I found a lot of good deals....check out my haul to see! 

I feel like for $100 I got a lot. I was kinda shocked actually. A lot of it was organic too. Fancy that! :) It was a lot faster too. The lines were long but they went a hell of a lot faster than any line in Walmart. So I think I might just have to do a little more shopping at our new Aldi's! I did go to Walmart for a few extra things and still think when I compare the two hauls, I got out with more for less at Aldi's. But I wasn't sure my picky animals would eat their brand of food but I seriously could have skipped most of the food at Walmart and found it at Aldi's. They did have apples but I thought Walmart's apples looked better and so on. I am sure I will take my time and be more thorough next time. Plus I will try to keep track of the prices better too.

I hope you enjoyed the haul. I felt like for it being my first Aldi Haul, I could have for sure filmed it better but it was a looong day and I was beyond exhausted. The house was a bit of a mess, the cats had pulled everything off the deep freeze and I just filmed around it. Plus both Jackson and Scott were home, and I had to film in a hurry. Sorry about that...I'll do better next time! How's your weekend going? I am afraid we are going to be stuck inside until Monday due to all the bad weather.
