Happy Thursday friends! I am back with another video with my 2013 Beauty favorites. I focused more on drugstore than high end because so many of my friends/family cannot just spend a ton of money on beauty products. I do have a couple of high end favorites but I made a HUGE effort this past year to buy and use as much drugstore makeup as possible to save money. And guess what!? I found some amazing products!!!! New Product Haul { First Impressions, Photos & Video }

Hello Friends! I hope you are having a wonderful Friday!  Yesterday I was able to check out the big Rite Aid sale and I also used some extra bucks at CVS along with a 30% off coupon to get a new foundation! Again.. I rarely pay full price for any makeup. I try to use coupons, combined with sales and rewards to get the best deals possible!

Spring 2013 New Product Haul/ Clearance Haul [ Video - Part 1 ] with Display Pictures

Hello! Today I am excited to be sharing some of the new products I found at my local CVS. I actually bought a lot of new items and a lot of clearance items so I am breaking up the haul into 2 different parts. In the first part is all the new spring 2013 products!

Huge Drugstore Haul! [ Video ]

Happy Weekend Friends! Scott and I kinda had a fun day out of shopping. We didn't buy anything that wasn't on sale...clothes wise and I also did some drugstore shopping. This is a pretty big haul... but a few items I want to give away to family... and a I am also having a giveaway on here too! All the details are in the video below. Today I took advantage of a big sale going at CVS. There are lots of makeup deals but the ones I used were.. 

Spend $10 on Physicians Formula and get $7 in Extrabucks.

So what I did was... check out first with the Physicians Formula and Revlon products.I actually had $8 dollars in Extracare bucks that I used towards the total. Then at the bottom of my receipt was the $14 in extra care bucks from this weeks sales. Then I had her ring up the other products... and used the $14 dollars I just got...which made me very happy! And there are tons of other sales going on at CVS right now. You should go check it out for yourself.. grab a paper when you walk in and shop the deals! 

Also there were too many products to photograph and put in 1 blog post. So I will divide them up and do swatches and photos really soon!

Sleepwalking CVS Haul!

Hello! I hope you are having a beautiful Thursday! Yesterday I had to pick up some prescriptions so while I was there.. I picked up a few other items too! I was so sleepy while I was wandering the isles. I even got something I swore I wouldn't.. sleepy decisions are not always the best!

 I finally decided to get these quads from Revlons Spring 2013 Pacific Coast Collection. For a while now I have been debating on getting these or not but why not!? I think there are some pretty colors in both quads and I think I can make some great looks with them.

Friday Shopping @ CVS!

Tonight I went shopping at CVS.. shocker huh!? And I got some really interesting products..

Very Fast CVS Haul!

Today I ran into CVS for only 2 things and I did pretty good sticking close to it! 

The first thing I wanted to do was use some of my extra care bucks up on this new Maybelline mascara. 

I seriously love the color of the tube and I love the name.. so lets hope I love the brush and formula as much as I do the packaging! This one is in # 271 - Very Black - 

Then while I was browsing.. I saw this Almay Smart Shade Cream blush in #010 - pink rose - and it was 75% off.. But what made this great is ...

The magic coupon machine gave me a $3.00 off Almay coupon.. This is normally $10.29 at CVS.. then It was $2.62 after the 75% off sale. I applied the $3.00 coupon and it was a .038 MONEY MAKER! Not a ton but it was free! I will test it out and let you guys know what I think of it! 

The second thing I went into CVS for was these 

CVS Brand Exfoliating cleaning towelettes. I think these work just as good on my skin as the Neutrogena ones for a fraction of the price! 

I did have to run to the dollar store.. and I picked up this cheap bottle of polish remover.. Again it works just as well for me! 

I  told you I am being more picky with make up! I just have so much that I am slowing down on how much I purchase.. and today, I am totally happy with what I got!

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in # 001 Honey Douce & #050 Precious Precieuse along with Almay Wake Up Blush & Highlighter in # 020 Rose Haul!!

Hellooo! I hope you all had a great night! I am finally resting and getting some time to myself so I thought I would show you what I got at CVS today! 

I have so much make up as it is.. so I am starting to get a little picky with my purchases.. but I had a lot of CVS bucks and decided to try out these new Revlon Balm Stains and also the new Almay Wake up blush.

Fun Tuesday CVS Haul!!!

Today, I had some errands to run and I decided to stop by CVS and I had a good time shopping around for new beauty finds!

Friday Finds!

Today was a pretty gloomy day.. I did only a little shopping for beauty items. Plus it seems that I have most of the new stuff out and really I am feeling more like shopping for some oldies but goodies instead. But I did find a few more 2012 products to try.

Here's everything I picked up. 

My hot curlers died about 3 months ago and I needed a new set. So hopefully these will do the job. I do really like the clips so I might go to Sally's tomorrow and get other ones. 

Also my greys are starting to show.. time to do my hair.. and I find it so much easier to do at home instead of going to the salon. This kind seems to work really well for me. 

I got a couple more Maybelline color tattoo pots. On the left is Tough as Taupe and the one on the right is Painted Purple. 

This was probably my favorite find because I love 

this kind of brush! 

A friend of mine was ranting about this Almay Clear Complexion and blemish treatment gel. She thinks the concealer is amazing. So had to get it.. I don't break out much but the gel will be nice to try if I do. 

That's about all for purchases today. Nothing too eventful but I am excited to try that mascara tomorrow! And I really like those Maybelline eye tattoo pots. They are just like my MAC paint pots and I love using them for a base with my eyeshadows. Get these if you can!! I am still trying to get the white one but its sold out every where. But I will find it!

Almay Smart Shade Perfect & Correct Primer

Product Details

New multi-tasking face primer intuitively adjusts to smooth and soften skin while correcting skin's most common problems with visible color correcting strands.

Green ribbons neutralize redness, while swirls of lavender pigments even out and brighten skin tone. imperfections are diffused and skin is up to 265% more hydrated. this lightweight, non-oily formula works for all skin types but is specifically formulated for sensitive skin.

Wear it alone for a flawless finish or underneath foundation for the first step to perfected skin.

Directions for use

Pump out a pea to bean size of primer. smooth onto face using fingertips and blend outwards. allow primer to dry completely and then apply foundation for a perfected look.

Here it is.. Kinda neat looking.. Is it just me, but are drugstore product prices of new products up high? I guess that's a topic for another time.. But this is kinda pricey.

It doesn't take much at all.

You can see both the green and purple tints in the primer. Green to counteract redness, and lavender to brighten dullness.

So I have been using this for over a week now and I think its ok.. Just ok.. I know this has been said to be

 a “dupe” to the Stila One Step Correct ($36)

So with that alone you are getting a steal. But I think this primer is pretty slick and I didn't really notice it making my make up last longer. It does help take away redness and brighten skin. I have used it on its own after a shower and it does make your skin look better but its really not the type of primer that I love. I like something a little thicker than this kind of formula. I doubt I will be buying this again and who knows by time I get to the bottom of the bottle I might end up changing my mind. But to me.. its just a ok primer. I would really like to see how this holds up in summer heat but being its winter right now, that isn't happening! 

So this one I am still on the fence about. I am just not that crazy about it even though I want to be! Like I said.. maybe by the time I use it all up, I will feel different. And if that happens I will be sure to come back up and update this review.

2012 Product Haul - Maybelline Color Tattoo, Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush & Almay Intense - i - Color Shadow Stick

I took back that Revlon Photoready Airbrush foundation, ( if you want to know why click HERE ) so I decided to get a few other new items. I really wanted more of the Maybelline Color Tattoo shadows too. If you saw this POST you can see the first one I got.. 

So here is what I got today..

This was a little more than my return but not by much. 

First thing I got was 

This Almay Intense i-look Shadow Stick in

020 - For Blue Eyes

$ 7.49

Here it is.. As you can see its a dual ended shadow stick

it has a lighter bronzey color at one end and at the other 

end there is a more chocolate brown color.

Pretty good color payoff.. 

Then I moved on to the Maybelline Color Tattoo shadows I got. 

They only had a few of these left at my CVS. 

These are very similar to MAC Paint Pots and I love them!

This is a creamy blush.. 

and pretty but wish I would have gotten a shade darker.
