Hello and Happy Wednesday to you all! I am blogging from my comfy bed right now! =) I woke up, went downstairs where Jackson is watching cartoons and mom is working online at the kitchen table and Brittany Belle is sound asleep still. So I grabbed my coffee and marched right back up the stairs. The peace and quiet right now is pretty nice!
Last night, husby cuddled up to me and slept like a baby. I was so happy too because I know how tired he was. Its different now.. I am not a huge cuddle type of person.. Nope. I think I must be the only woman on the planet that doesn't like to cuddle. BUT.. we are figuring out a way where its comfy for both of us.. not just him. He use to throw his heavy arms over me at night and it would feel so heavy. But not now.. somehow we are sleeping together really well now! I think the separate bedrooms a while ago was easy... Both of us could sleep how we want with no worries that we were going to bother the other one but I do love sleeping with him again. Its nice to look over at night and see the love of my life! Isn't it crazy that I am still totally in love with him after all these years? I am totally blessed. Not everyday is a bed of roses...but we are still going strong!
No huge plans today. Hanging out with mom and the kids. She plans things kinda on the go so she might figure out something she is doing with the kids later but for now, we are all in our pjs still and hanging around the house. She leaves on Friday morning to go enjoy sometime in Gatlinburg before heading back to Texas. Don is flying in and off they go! I won't lie.. I totally wish I was going to Gatlinburg for a romantic trip too! They found this beautiful bed and breakfast that I never knew about!! Exciting!! Now we found another great place to stay while we are in the Smokey Mountains. We are planning a fall trip but I doubt I can do the B & B for that trip. We will have 2 adult kids, Jackson, Scott and I, plus 2 little babies.. Sounds like a cabin is going to be the answer for us!
I know posting has been a little slow around here but while mom is here.. I don't have a lot of extra time to spend online. I do try to get coupon and freebie posts still up but things are going to be on a little slower pace till the weekend. But I also have to focus on Brittany Belle because she leaves not this weekend but next. =( Just hang in there and check back often because I will still be getting some posts up!
