Good Morning!!
Happy Happy Sunday! Hope you all are either sleeping in today or taking it easy... after all.. isn't that what the weekends are for!? Husby got up early and took off to play golf with Michael. I am always shocked when he gets up early on his day off to play. I am sure he won't be worth a shit when he gets home... he never is after golf. I am sure he will go take a nap and just lay around the later part of the afternoon.
I on the other hand have plenty of things to do around here today. I need to run to the store.. but thinking I might be able to get away with going to tomorrow instead. I have a bunch of laundry to do today and I have a large load waiting to get hung out.. but as the picture says.. COFFEE FIRST! I think the only day we are going to get rain is Tuesday so at least we are going to dry up around here some. It rained all last week and while I love the rain.. the sunshine will be nice!
I have only got till Friday to get things done.. and includes cleaning up the house.. getting the kids rooms together.. and packing to head north. We are leaving Friday night after Scott gets off work. Then we will play around with family and friends on Saturday and then on Sunday we pick up the kids! Super excited to get my arms around them. So far, things are still the same with Jackson. From what I understand.. he IS still moving in and going to school here next year. I am totally excited about it.. a little nervous too. His grades have been sucking and my main goal is to get him liking school and doing better on his work. I am a little nervous that he won't do any better here.. but thats really not going to be an option. So I guess I will take you along with through 4th grade while he is here! Should be interesting to say the least! Jackson was upset last night because one of his friends was moving out of the neighborhood yesterday. It took everything to get it out of him.. he thought he was stupid for being upset because his friend is only 4 1/2. We had to have a long talk about friends and missing people. A friend is a friend no matter how old they might be. He is so freaking sweet. I can't wait to pick them both up! Its going to be a great summer! In just a couple weeks Scott is also picking Zane up.. so we are really going to have a full house!
When I woke up today and passed the bathroom mirror.. I was still shocked about my hair. If you didn't see you can check out this post!! Its comfortable though and even after sleeping like a wild woman, tossing and turning all over the bed.. it still looks pretty good. I sure wasn't expecting to get this haircut after growing my last bob out but whatever.. I like it.. just surprised is all. I am sure it will be easier for summer too! But thank you to the few of you that emailed me over the night/morning, letting me know that you like it! One of the emails was asking how to do it.. and its just not something that easy for me to explain. And I don't think if you don't cut your hair now.. then don't try it. I went to a salon.. and she did do the back for me.. making it easier... but I just wasn't happy with the cut and had to come home and fix it. I have cut my hair many times so its nothing that strange or hard for me.. even Scott has helped me at times. BUT.. the kitty in the pictures gets attention too! He is such a baby.. and we are so in love with him around here. He already acts like the king around here! This morning he smells like Scott and his cologne.. so I know Scott was giving kitty love before he took off! =)
Well, I need to get the laundry hung out.. I'll be back soon! But the main thing about today.. is enjoying such a beautiful Sunday morning!
