I woke up pretty early and
took off to get my hair cut. My hair has been growing out since I got a bob many months ago.. all I asked for was some layers in the back and she totally took a lot of hair off. I didn't really say anything but I was in shock when I felt how short the back was. She left the sides super long but I wasn't really feeling it.. I went most of the day and evening with the way she left it.. and then I got busy shaping it a little better myself.
I have a bob again! Can't say I mind but it was totally unexpected! Isn't Romeo sweet!?
I am better at cutting my own hair than most people. The back was already short and it just took me getting the sides right. A bob is not an easy cut.. and I don't recommend you do this yourself unless you have done it before. I am pretty good at getting the right angle but it takes time.. patience.. and a steady hand. I have to admit.. bobs really do make your face look thinner and thats a huge + !! Scott even likes it. He also thought it needed to be more angled and shorter on the sides. And now I have a few bangs.
I ran a couple errands and then I came home and cleaned up the house a little before my friend
Courtney, her mother, and the boys came over for an afternoon visit. This was the first time I met her mother. We all had a really nice time. Jake had a blast with the dog.. and we all just hung out on the patio for a few hours just enjoying the afternoon together. More pictures to come.. The baby is so sweet. I love his little feet! =) With Brittany and Jackson coming next weekend.. I am sure they will be back because it will be fun to let the kids play together. And Brittany loves Courtney!
Scott came home and didn't feel too good at first and then started doing a little yard work and before I knew it we were off to grab some dinner and do a little shopping. It was a peaceful night out..Both of us felt exhausted but the night was so beautiful. The sky was this amazing pink color and even the night with clouds was beautiful.
We stopped by Walgreens and I ended up getting 2 new items..
