Hello! Its 2 am here and I should be asleep but here I am blogging... =)
Today started out with me waking up late and having to basically run out the door to get to the Dr's on time. But I made it..
and it didn't go as I had hoped.. but whatever.
Then a quick stop in at the dealership before heading off to
do some garden shopping..
There is always room for more plants!
I got busy in the yard and got all dirty.. then into the shower I went..
I got cleaned up and headed out to do some shopping at CVS and to meet Scott for dinner. On my way up the street there was a house on fire.. A million firemen were out there..
and it looked under control.
Before I knew it, we were sitting in Newts having some drinks ( well Scott and his friends were drinking ) and I was enjoying a
milk shake and
spinach salad
I know.. weird combination but good!
Once we were back near the house, the smoke got thick and
when we drove by.. the house was burned to the ground. I was in shock...It was a 2 story white house. I am sure someone is upset tonight.. and its less than a block from the fire station. Guess they couldn't stop it. Really sad.
Scott was exhausted when we got home. He fell right to sleep. I got busy on working on a few posts and now I am in bed.. getting ready to end this day.
It was a pretty good day. I have been missing Scott a lot with this sale going on. Tomorrow it ends.. thank goodness. No wonder he is tired. He has been working a ton of hours. I will be happy to get him back home next week!
Tomorrow I have one last gift to find and I also have a few more things to get for the house.. So I will be out and about but I am going to take it easy until I am ready to go.. Being in a big rush this morning was enough for me.. Tomorrow is going to start calmly.. I hope!
