I'm in Love..

Hello friends..

 I am so in love with this picture that I am seriously going to print it out and frame it. Is that not the most beautiful creature ever? My heart melts every time I look at it. BEAUTIFUL

Well.. guess what I got made tonight??

The Peppermint Bark! Its really good and was super easy to make. I will be getting the post up tomorrow. Its all bagged up and done. Happy to check that off my list! Wooooo- hoooo!!! Don't know what I am making next but need to figure it out asap! I will say this was not too cheap to make. I paid about $ 35.00 in chocolates and I think that's something that a little goes a long way. Tomorrow you will see how much I put in the bags. I didn't fill them up. I made 9 of them because I was one bag short.. Grrrr.. but it will just have to be ok.. I am done with one and getting ready to start another while trying to get the SUGAR SCRUBS and HOMEMADE PEPPERMINT HOT CHOCOLATE MIXES. One thing I didn't think to talk about with you guys is if you are making things for people such as food, bath products, etc. make sure everything you are using is super clean, that your hands are really clean, your hair tied back, because you do not want to give " nasty " gifts. Germs is never fun to pass. Keep that in mind when baking and making things for others. I must wash my hands 100 times when cooking or baking. We tend to sanitize our hands around here a lot too. Our dog isn't even allowed in the kitchen for hair reasons. Just want to make sure you guys know how important it is.

Anyway here is how cute they are..

I have them in a little box now and upstairs in the spare bedroom. We keep the vent shut in there right now, so its really cold.. Perfect room for candies and sweets!

It was a busy day for Scott and I. He went to work in the a.m. He finally came home early and we took off to do some shopping. Tuesday's is his normal day off, but getting him to take it is not so easy. We ran around town.. paid a few bills and then went clothes shopping for the little ones. The dealership also had my car doing a repair and oil change, and we had to go back to get it. This is what comes from doing that..

He goes back to working

Its taken years for me to realize what he meant when he says

" Once you are in the car business, it has you for life "

Even though I hate it at times, I love what a motivated confident man he is when it comes to work. We got there about 6 pm, I stayed for about 15 minutes before leaving.. and he got home about 7. I guess we ran around for about 3 hours.

I came home and made some

Crab cakes, asparagus and corn. These are ok.. Scott liked them much more than I did. I am VERY picky about crab cakes. So far I have only found 2 restaurants that have the good ones. I think the asparagus was better than anything thing on that plate! After dinner, I had a hot bath and then got busy with the bark.

I should run a couple more errands tomorrow. I don't know if I will or not, but thinking it would be a good idea! The house is pretty clean however I need to also make a little time around here tomorrow for that too.

Well.. need sleep.
