Not As Planned

I love Tuesdays.. its Scott's day off so its pretty much a family day in the beginning of the week.

But one thing is for sure..

Nothing is planned!!! Well it did get planned but it sure didn't get carried out.. Honestly it drives me crazy.. I get the day figured out days ahead and then Scott being home throws a wrench into it all!

He told me that he was going into work for a few hours and be home by time I woke up. Well.. guess he changed his mind! He slept in for a little while and then he and Jackson went running around town so Brittany and I could sleep in for a while.

I woke up.. they were gone and it gave me a few minutes to get myself woke up and say hi to you guys! Then the day started!!

Scott wanted to go check out a house a few towns over.

Here it is.. You can see me in the mirror taking this picture.. I kinda liked it.. But we couldn't go in and the neighborhood was not so nice. But we still want to look inside when we can..

By this time.. we were all hungry so we stopped at..

To get some lunch!

Sounded good to me!

As soon as we sat down Scott was getting the kids little cars put together.

After lunch we drove back home.. and before I knew it.. Scott had another house to go look at.. This one really excited him.. We had to leave right away!

It sits in a very nice neighborhood.. and looks much bigger than what we have now..

Its a huge " L ' shaped porch.. I should have took a picture of the door leading into the house. It was big with a doggie or kitty door too!

I cant tell you how badly Scott wants this house! He even called up Michael to pick him up so he could see it too. We came right home and sent a email to see the house and find out what we have to do to get in it. I'll keep you guys updated..I don't know if this house will be it or not.. I keep saying a prayer for God to put us where we should be.. for what would work best for our life and our family. Its crazy that where you live really impacts your life. Some of the best moments of my life with Scott have been in a 3 room cabin in the middle of the woods...This house has never felt like home and I am very happy to find the right house. Scott told me a few nights ago that I was the only one picking the house and what he wants doesn't matter to me.. Well.. that's crap.. but I understand that it has to be a us decision.. not a me decision.. Really its always a us decision.. I cant think of one time when we moved some where he didn't like too.. but he wanted me to know that he wants a say in this house. So hopefully for him we will be moving in! But.. that's only if the inside checks out!

We came back home and I had planned dinner before a late swim at the pool. Ohh and today I had planned on working on laundry.. but that was scratched too! No one wanted dinner before the pool so we waited around till around 700 or so and headed to the pool. We took Michael with us.. who looked pretty tired but I guess he wanted to swim!

As soon as we got there..they were on a 15 minute delay..

I really am getting use to this pool. I kinda like it but it sucks they don't let you bring a cooler.. I am seriously thinking about breaking that rule.. Since we didn't eat before going.. we were planning on eating at the pool.. They normally have hot dogs and hamburgers but they were out of them tonight. That didn't make me so happy.. and I see others who bring in food too. So maybe going to test that the next time I go..

They did manage to have a few snacks..

We all had a good time. We were home by 10 and being we didn't eat before or at the pool.. it was time for a late night pancake dinner.

I came home and started cooking right away..

It just felt like the right meal..

I also made some..

and served it all up..

And every bite was good..so was the cold milk! We all ate really good and then took showers and now everyone is in bed. I am just enjoying the moment of the stillness in our home.

There is so much to do around here.. I look around and the house is pretty messy. Tons of things out and not put up where they belong. A ton of laundry waiting on me..All the bedding needs washed..cat stuff that needs done.. the floor is dirty.. and I am just not doing it tonight. Hell.. it will wait till tomorrow.. My kitchen is clean and we still have a few clean towels left so I am sitting back..taking a break.. and hoping that tomorrow goes more as planned! I think from now on that I should leave the planner blank and just go with the flow! I really hate it when things do not go as planned.. I am not sure why its that way with me.. but it is.. and today was more about being together as a family and that's more important than any other plans I have.

In regards to the house hunting.. we are getting close to Sept.. so we got to get on the hunt! The clock is ticking.. and right now we have a lot of summer plans and we have to find one in between it all.

In the middle of my day.. some family drama occurred.. I cant mention too much.. it involves a minor but it set off a fire storm.. Whats sad is when someone is in complete denial. I shouldn't say I told you so.. but in fact.. I did.. Its always amazes me when you show someone black and white proof and they still keep their eyes closed. But..its just a small thing so nothing much to worry about. Just makes me sad and upset to think about it all. I have plenty of people I can talk to  and who are there for me so.. I will depend on them to help.

Gosh.. I cant believe its 212 am right now. I am sleepy and should be in bed. I shouldn't let myself sleep too late tomorrow with all I have to do around here. So its a day at home. I would like to run a couple errands too . However.. time might be short for that too!

I have a couple friends I haven't heard from in a couple days by the way..I need to check on both of them! If you girls are reading this.. you should email or call! Miss you guys.. I actually am going to email one in just a few minutes. She is on the west coast so its not so late for her. My other one.. I can call tomorrow!

Well. going to send that email , make the coffee, get Jackson's breakfast out and get to bed.. and I cant see that happening before 3 am.. Oy!!
