Hello friends! I have been a busy woman tonight.. I have been dealing with some crazy kids.. a tired husband along with getting the house together. I was lucky that today was pretty easy over all.. It was cleaned really well yesterday so I was able to kinda pay less attention to it today. I did spend a little more time with the kids too! It rained a lot today so we stayed inside and found things to do ..

I so love the sound of the rain. I have never had one of those clocks or cd's with the sound of rain on it for when I sleep but I think it would be a great thing to get. I normally watch tv to fall a sleep to but I love the sound of thunder and rain. Might have to look into getting one of those cds.

If any of you know what its like to play this with younger children.. then you know that it takes a lot of PATIENCE!!!

They had a good time though!

The game didn't last too long because they both grew bored of it after about 20 minutes. I thought it would be great to help them with their spelling but they just wasn't into it!

I had a friend come over tonight too. It was nice sitting back chatting with her. It wasn't easy to keep the kids out of the way but I think we had a good talk. What it reminded me is how similar we all are.. We all have the same kind of problems and issues..and its really a matter of how we deal with them.. I suck at change, disorder, disorganized, and bad attitudes. But I have to sit back and remember that this life is all about lessons. And if we learn the lessons the first time we are very unlikely to make them a second time. Marriage is hard..its harder than anyone ever told me. I had a great set of grandparents that taught me a lot but they skipped over the part about sticking it out in thick and thin in a marriage. My first one didn't even last 6 months. I think it was around 4 months when we split up and 6 months by time our divorce was finalized. Nothing to brag about. I only planned being married once but I forgot the part of marrying someone I love. I did it for the kids not for love. And now that I have a marriage based on only love.. its still work. There are no free passes to happiness. What I think it is that you have to stick it out.. I think that when one is about to give up.. the other person has to be stronger until the other partner is back giving it their all. Its hard to live that way sometimes because one person feels like they are doing all the work but sometimes you have to give more and other times they have to give more. I am so in love with Scott that it also clouds my judgement sometimes. I truly want to put his wants and needs above my own some days and that's really never the right answer. It shouldn't be only about one.. It should be about the couple.. the relationship.. We all have to remember that this life is hard and we all need someone to catch us when we fall.

Tomorrow is a long day of shopping. We need groceries and household stuff.. I am taking the kids and that will not be easy. I prefer to not shop with them but since they have been in the house for the last few days I thought it might be nice getting them out. I might change my mind after tomorrow but I am going to try.

So tonight has also been about..

Planning what we are having for dinner next week and figuring out what we need from the store. I broke out some cook books to help inspire me and help me find things the kids will eat.. Another not so easy job!

I wanted to show you the collage from Picnik. I use to make these all the time. I was using them for scrap books and photo albums but I guess I grew tired of it. Its kinda like the old is new again! If you have the premium service you can get other layouts but its been so long for me that my subscription has run out but I will change that soonI think its only about 4$ for a month.. Not too bad! Its super super easy.. Just click create.. click collage.. upload pictures at the bottom of the page..Slide them to where you want them.. and click save. After you do that you will have a chance to add more embellishments and text if you want. Since I have only put a few on the blog I think I will start doing more of them when I can! I want to do one of Scott's grand daughter too for the Family page. Its really nice to be able to print them out and put them in a frame. You can also send them to walgreens online and have them printed in any size you want.. Frame it and you got a great gift or decoration for your home. I use to keep one in the bathroom of when Jackson was taking a bubble bath.. It had 4 of the cutest pictures ever and it was a 11x14.. I finally took it down because he had grown so much over the years. I need to do a new one! It was so cute.. I got a ton of compliments on it and so easy to do!

I was driving home from the store when I spotted this adorable Coke truck! I love Polar bears and every time I see one I smile!

I mean how freaking cute is this!?

I posted them on facebook today and I know you could kinda see them on my personal facebook badge but its too sweet to not show you the full picture! I even have a giant polar bear picture hanging by the front door. I seriously thought about at one time asking anyone who wanted to stay here with us that the only thing I require is a $ 20.00 donation to the ~ Save the Polar Bear ~ fund but it didn't go over so good! =)

Well.. I have got to get my phone plugged in.. its dead.. as always.. I use it so much that by time night comes around I either have to charge it or its gone. I also got to get to bed being tomorrow is going to be a busy day!
