Hello late night friends!! Or perhaps you are reading this on Thursday Morning so good morning to guys too!
What a night!!
Mom managed to get our cruise planned for 10 of us tonight. I am sure not so easy of a job for anyone to do! But its done!! We leave on September 5 to take off to Mexico aboard the
Carnival Triumph!!
It looks like an amazing boat!!
It has this killer water slide that goes
down the middle of the boat!
I am super excited!! More to come about our trip on a later day!
What a busy summer we are having.. Already went to Texas for 2 weeks.. Heading to Louisville for a few days.. then taking off to Gatlinburg Tenn with Scott's daughter ...and then we take off to Mexico!
Woooooooo-hoooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok on to other things..
The kittys have been tearing around the house like crazy ass's and climbing up on everything.. Their little nails have been tearing into the kitchen chairs..
So thought I would take some precautions..
Our chairs are covered in leather...and I don't want them tore up. Aluminum foil usually works well to keep cats off anything..
Well..
the kittens had no problems with the foil! They loved it so much that they tore it off most of the chairs and played on it.. So that didn't work.. Not sure what I am going to try next!!
More kitten information in a couple minutes!!
I stayed pretty busy around here. Not only did I work around the house but I spent a lot of time online today too..
The weather was nice for the early afternoon but then came the storms.. You guys know I love rain so yep.. made another video.. This one has Brittany and Cooper playing in the rain.. I spoke a little bit on it.. and gosh do I hate the way my voice sounds! I don't think I sound anything like the way it sounds on the video!!

Scott got home on time today and I managed to start dinner pretty soon after he walked into the door. We have been eating kid friendly meals and my kids don't have a big palette.. They like simple food and nothing different..
But tonight was adult food and they had to just go along with it.
I started by sauteing 2 skillets of onions.. One to go with the zucchini and one to top the pork chops.
I started these first because it takes a good 15-20 minutes to get onions cooked!
In the mean time I seasoned up some thin pork chops with some yummy smoked salt rub that was a gift from mom at Christmas.
All spiced up and ready to cook!

I also cut up a tomato to go with dinner..
Cooke up the pork chops..also made a side of pasta for us all..
And dinner was served!
And it was absolutely delicious!!
The kids kinda liked it but we sure enjoyed it!!
Scott and I hung out for a while afterwards while the kids went to the neighbors to play with their friend.. the break was nice and it was good for the kids being they were inside most of the day.. I worked on laundry and I didn't get it all done. It seems with the kids here.. its a job that is never finished! The house looks ok.. but I see so much out that should be put up.
I have to get up and take Scott to the Dr. tomorrow.. We have to be there around 8 am for those shots in his neck again. Not crazy about getting up early but he cant drive himself right after so he has to take me with him..
I hope you guys have checked out our family calender that is below. I had to put it at the bottom because its so large. I could have made it smaller but then you don't see everything clear so now you can see whats going on with us anytime! It will be updated daily and maybe it will help you guys plan too! I am really happy to have it on here now! It took forever for me to figure out which kind of calender to put up. This one seems to be working great! You can use the tabs to go to other months and you can also click on anything on the calender for a better description of what it is. I could not go through life without a calender. Its the one thing that I MUST have. I don't know how anyone lives without one! You can create a google one too if you like.. This is kinda a back up.. I prefer pen to paper. My daily planner is a paper planner.. there is no way I could go all electronic but for the blog this particular calender should work great!

Sadly its time to let these two adorable kittens go to new homes! They are ready and if you are interested in one or both send me an email to
They are flame point Persian kittens..Both are males.. They are CFA registered and come with papers and the first set of shots. They are $ 400.00 each and I will deliver to the Lousiville Area in the first week of August. If you are in North Carolina or South Carolina I will also deliver or meet 1/2 way. If you are in another state then you would have to make shipping arrangements or be willing to come pick them up. I will also put a link and picture at the top of this blog sometime tomorrow. I will be taking deposits and will hold the kittens until you are ready for pick up. Final payment would be due at that time. I hate to part with them.. I'm not sure I would if I didn't think I had another litter on the way.. Yep.. I think Gabby is pregnant again.. So if I want to keep any of those I have to get rid of the 2 boys!
Well the later I stay up tonight.. the more hard its going to be on me tomorrow.. So I need to get some sleep.. 7:00 am is coming fast.. I will probably have to come home and get some rest after the Dr. Apt. Right now if I fall asleep in the next 30 minutes that will only be 4 hours of sleep.. I can see tomorrow might be a grumpy day for me!
I have a lot more I want to talk to you all about but that will wait a few hours till I am rested and can think clearly!
