Really sleepy here.. But wanted to say hello before I go climb in my bed and start dreaming.
Today did not go anything like I wanted it to. It seemed like I had absolutely no energy today for anything. I actually laid out under one of the trees and just listened to nature and it was perfect. I was pretty much lazy all day. I did get out to the post office and finally about 8 pm I went and had my nails done. I have to get my hair done tomorrow so I figured getting my nails done tonight would be best. Just in case you are wondering.. I just got a french manicure and let it at that. I did have them trim them back..they were getting pretty long..so now they are a bit shorter than what I am use to but its easier to type! In a week or so they will look like normal..I barley made it time wise..I got right in there at 8 and didn't walk out till 9...Being its in the mall.. they are open the latest and I was lucky to get in. He turned away 5 other ladies wanting their nails done because it was so late. He told me that its not worth it to him to keep the shop open because he had already worked 13 hours today and he just wanted to go home and spend time with his family..I was honored he stayed to get me done.. Really kind of him.
So here's the " new " plan.. We are leaving after hubby gets off work on Saturday...Should be about 4 pm.. Then we are driving straight to Florida. We should get there around 3 or 4 am Sunday. We are staying Sunday..We are heading home Tuesday afternoon. 2 full days plus some of Tuesday.. Then back in the car for the long drive home. I hope it will be a fun little break!
Tomorrow I am getting my hair done.. running some errands and doing all the shopping for the animals and the trip and then coming home to pack..A friend is wanting to come over and let her little boy see the kittens. Its going to be a busy night so I wont be able to hang out very long but she is the one watching things around here so I need to talk to her anyway..I want to get as much done as possible tomorrow because you never know with Scott. He could call me early on Saturday and say we are leaving. I just wish I would have gotten up off my butt today and got started. I am still feeling depleted. I don't know whats up with me.
The weather is suppose to be beautiful in Florida while we are there..high 80's.. Love that! Plus going to see some old friends while I am there too! Really excited to see them! Plus we will be seeing Scott's dad and step mom.. So its going to be a busy few days! I would love to see my sister too but getting her to slow down wont be easy! Mom headed off for a long weekend trip to go gamble with Don..They always sound like they are having so much fun! I love that for her!!
Sorry about the lack of post... I doubt tomorrow or the next few days will be nothing more than me chatting with you guys about whats going on.. I have a great new recipe that I already am working on and maybe I will be able to get it up for you guys. Its picture heavy so its taking some time! It was really good and its pretty different and I cant wait to show you guys..
Well.. I'm really tired..I am heading to bed..
