Really Tired..

Hello all.. Its pretty late...around 2 am and I am finally able to sit down and chat for a few minutes before going to bed. What a long day.. Like I told you in a earlier post that today was just as busy as hell. I didn't have a free moment all day.

We did make it to dinner at Sushi Dojo. The other couple was running so late that we ate and left long before they showed up.. They kept texting saying 15 more minutes..30 more minutes.. Personally.. I think it was in bad taste to do that but.. in their defense..its Prom for the child.. But they shouldn't have made dinner plans if they were not going to be able to make it. I didn't let it effect me.. I had a wonderful dinner with the best dinner date that I could ever have!

Once I got home.. I got busy making..

This was a request from a friend who is coming!

Then my girlfriend came over for an hour or so to hang out. Scott was not feeling good with a headache and went to bed early so it was really nice having someone to hang out with. She was super sweet bringing me a gift that I really enjoyed! We talked for a while.. Ooohhh and Goooed over the new kittens and when she left I grabbed..

My new US magazine and soaked in the bubble bath... After a long day it was so worth it. I just needed that down time.. I have been so busy today that taking 30 minutes in a warm bubble bath was so necessary.

As for Gabby and the kittens.. She is doing better with getting them fed.. asleep.. and then..

She gets a little alone time too!

But after a couple of minutes she is right back..

Nursing them and being a great mommy! I love it! I cant wait till they are all running around here playing and jumping all around. Its really one of the biggest joys I have had this year. She has had my heart from the moment Scott woke me up with her and now she has given me more sweet babies to love.

I sometimes wonder how I got this life. I am so happy right now. The only missing is the kids being here but we are all doing ok.. making it work until things change. They know how much I love them and I know and feel their love for me. I am such a blessed lady. I look back at the looong journey to get here and it was long and hard but all of the bad things paid off with giving me experience and knowledge and now I don't have to live in a un happy mess. Scott has changed everything for me. My only wish is that God would have sent him a little sooner! I guess I needed to learn all those hard lessons so I could be grateful for the life I now have. And the funny thing is.. the hard relationships I use to have with family are not hard anymore. I do have a couple cousins that I am not getting along with but... when it comes down to it.. I still love them both. I just realize they are not healthy for me. I think.. no.. I know.. that life is getting so much better as I get older... I am not ashamed of getting older each year.. I love it. I feel smarter than I have ever felt.. more confident that ever and more secure in what I believe in and want. I really now just want to be present in my life and make sure that I show the people I love how much they mean to me. And I want to make as many good memories as I can!!

Tomorrow we have a cook out going on.. But when I get up I am heading out to get my nails done.. then coming home to clean up before friends start showing up. I really do have a lot of post coming up but that wont happen till Sunday and Monday! So sorry! But I feel I am doing my best with just getting up post of whats going on around here!

Well.. I am off to bed!
