~ Sleeping in ~

Well today is almost over for many of you..but for me its just starting. I woke up super late and I honestly don't feel bad about it at all. I mean I wish I didn't loose a lot of the day but I was pretty tired. Last night I took 3 sleeping pills and I was still fighting it. The last thing I remember, is the 530am news being on..So yea...late late night for me!

I am still in my pjs and need to get dressed..No big plans for the day except working around the house and sometime later this evening we are heading over to our friends for a bit. Hopefully wont be out too long! American  Idol is on tonight and I cant wait to watch it!! I hate that Paul got voted off last week..I really really liked him! He reminded me of Phil Collins and I am really going to miss him!

It looks pretty overcast and I think the storms have died down and now if we get anything it will just be some wind. Last night my elderly grandmother was home alone and scared. It was late when the storms came in so no one called her. Mom found out this morning that the tornado sirens went off 3 times and she was pretty un easy. I felt horrible I didn't call her. I was texting with a friend who was there and was telling me about the weather. I bet I don't make the same mistake of not calling her when it is that bad out. I asked her why she didn't go sit in the bathroom and she told me she was scared to get out of the bed. So I explained she is one of my best friends and how devastated I would be if something happened to her, so please go to the bathroom the next time. I think everybody skipped calling her because it was so late...but I feel bad and going to make sure I don't do that again. Its hard having a elderly grandmother. I wish I was there to help her more. I think of the hardest things is seeing how delicate she is becoming. It breaks my ♥.

Anyway, I am getting up and get dressed.. Its a late start...but its a start!
