Night!!

Hello everyone!

I feel sooooo accomplished tonight..look at what I have been doing.

I made a TON of chocolate chip cookie dough

And just used the normal stuff..

It took about 2 hours at baking cookies every 10 minutes

and tons of scooping to get this

big pile of cookies! While some of these are for the tins the rest is for us!

Is that not a ton of cookies? I didn't even count them but I made the recipe x3 just to be sure we had plenty. Husby is a HUGE chocolate chip cookie lover!

I also got 3 more of the steak rubs mixed up..

I totally need to post that little recipe up on here for you guys!

But I jarred it up and

put the cute little labels on them! I love these labels. If I would have thought about it sooner I probably would have bought personalized labels for all the homemade gifts! I like them.. and I know husby also likes them!

Well my mom and Don have reached Kentucky!

They missed their flight and had to take a later one so they are just getting to their hotel..

And look who is with them! Here is Sammy boy! He just walks right on that plane and flys right at her feet! He's like my furry brother!

They are only there till Friday and then they are heading here. I think Scott will probably be getting them from the airport. I have a ton of things going on the day they fly in and two of us going is just not going to accomplish what we need to do. I mean I will be wrapping gifts all freaking night on Friday!! Mom will be here so I will put her to work with some of it!

Anyway, I got a late start to today but I got it all done. I don't know how. At its only 1 am and I am close to making the coffee for morning and then going to bed. And I am taking my grapefruit with me!

Its pretty much my nightly bedtime snack.. of course it has a little sugar sprinkled on top of it. I just love them!! And the ones I got at the grocery yesterday are big and plump! Really really good ones!

I am going to be focusing on the house tomorrow. I am however running to the store pretty fast after I get up. I am making a roast for dinner and I need to pick up some onions.. I am still not ready to pick up all my holiday ingredients.. that comes on Thursday. Everything is so planned out. I am in cleaning mode now.

Big time.

There is no secret to holiday cleaning. You just have to do it. I will basically be doing most of the stuff on this list and then some in the next 4 days.. actually a lot of it will be done in 3 days.

Holiday Cleaning Checklist

Launder your linens.

Polish silverware and clean your good china and crystal.

Clean banisters

       

Tackle the garage and basement—a quick straighten and tidy will do.

Tidy up front yard and clean the front door.

Wash windows inside the home

Organize kitchen pantry and drawers

Freshen curtains, carpets, rugs and cloth furniture with Febreze

Hand wash holiday dishes

Wash your holiday glassware

Straighten bedrooms.

Organize linen closets.

Vacuum floors 

 

Get rid of soap scum in the bathtubs and showers in all bathrooms.

Clean all bathroom sinks.

Polish bathrooms fixtures

Organize medicine cabinets and drawers.

Clean toilet bowls

Clean inside of microwave and wipe the front off

Clean dining room or kitchen table

Clean out and organize refrigerator and freezer to make room Christmas dinner leftovers

Clean the outside of the refrigerator

Tidy up the junk drawer.

I have a ton to do.. I really have to have it all done by Thursday.. Friday morning I will pick up and vacuum one last time but it should all be done on Thursday. I will also be setting out all the tasty treats on Thursday night too. Friday is a day of madness. Last minute shopping, running all over town on a million errands, and not to mention.. I also have to pay a few bills on Friday too! I don't know how I am going to get it all done but I will!


Well need to get to bed.. I have a lot going on tomorrow!
