Thankful Thursday

For hot long baths. I know many don't like to actually lay back in a bathtub and relax but it's been a life saver for me. It always makes me feel better. Always. 

that little Brittany hasn't missed the bus one time this week. Maybe my morning wake up calls when she is at her dads is really helping.

Hi friends! Happy Thursday to you all. I am back today sharing a new Thankful Thursday post. I think it's really important to find something to be happy for everyday. We all have days when life takes over and stress kicks in. But simply keeping record of things you are thankful for can truly be life changing.

Here's what I am thankful for this week:

♥ This was a pretty nice week at work. I really do enjoy my job and the people I see everyday. I couldn't really ask for more in that regard. 

♥ I am so happy that I actually remembered Romeos birthday this year! That kitty cat means so much to me. He's just purrrfect! 

♥ More time with my family. They light up my world and I am so thankful to be here with them. I am thankful I got to be with my grandmother in her final days. I am thankful for being home. 

♥ For new teas that I keep trying and loving. Nothing better in the late afternoon and early evening than a cup of tea.

♥ I have really enjoyed a lot of movies here lately. I don't watch a ton of tv but Ryan and I have been staying in and just laying back watching movies. 

♥ I am happy that Laura is back to work. She is growing stronger each day. 

♥ My mom has an amazing relationship with Jackson. I love it. They plan on taking a big trip this summer. I am so happy he has her. It means a lot to me. 

♥ I am thankful for a boyfriend I have so much history with. We have so many memories in common that goes back to first grade. God put him in my life then for a reason....and now for a reason. 

♥ For homemade cleaning products. It helps me save money and it works just as good. I have a bunch of recipes you can find here. And I will show you what i am currently using in a new video sometime soon!

♥ I am thankful and blessed for the loads of comments that you guys leave on my videos, posts, photos. I never imagined how blogging and making videos would change my life. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart. 

♥ I am grateful that my uncle is ok after a tornado tore his home apart Wednesday morning. It could have been a lot worse. 

♥ For my little grandchildren. They are so cute and precious and are a dose of fresh air around our family.

♥ I am happy and thankful for good wine on long days. I don't drink daily but sometimes I am so thankful for a glass of wine in a quite house. Yes Please.

♥ That Trump actually sounded more presidential in his address to Congress. I think that's because of his daughter and God knows I am thankful she is trying to dial him back a bit. At least it was better.

♥ I finally figured out the problem I was having importing photos from my iphone 6+. I was getting so frustrated but once I got it fixed ( after a few days ) I was so happy!

♥ I am happy with our little girl group that gets together almost everyday at Lauras. I think we could solve the worlds troubles if given the time. I love that we all have each other to lean on. I couldn't be more blessed in terms of a support system with them and the other ladies in my life.

♥ For cuddles with Ryan. He is always holding my hand, touching me or snuggling in the bed. It feels amazing. It feels right and I know I am blessed because he is here.

Thankful Thursday

Hey guys! I hope your having a great Thursday evening. I am back with another edition of a Thankful Thursday post. I think be grateful and having gratitude is one of the most important components to life. Hope you enjoy. 

♥ I am thankful my mom said my grandmother looked great today. My mom is up there visiting and seems to be having a nice time. Both her mom and sister seem to be doing better.

♥ I am thankful for the heat and the fireplace. Both keep us warm on these super cold nights. We are getting snow here in South Carolina. It's crazy. I am also thankful for the seat heaters in my car. Yes....very thankful for those too.

♥ I am thankful for all you guys who follow me on instagram. Follow along if you like! →   It's been great talking to you more. You guys always make me :)

♥ I am still thankful for PBS. I really am. From a kid to adulthood I have found a ton of great shows to watch on that channel.

♥ I am thankful for a clean kitchen. I know it won't stay that way long but I am enjoying a lot right now!

♥ I am thankful for all the kids seem to be doing good in school. It's not so easy with the boys but they are all doing good right now. I am very proud of them all.

♥ I am thankful that Scott has been working his butt off. He is doing really well and we were actually able to save a little this month. Yay! I could ask for a more harder working man than the one I got. One day he is going to wear out though. I couldn't imagine doing everything he does.

♥ I am thankful my nail lady cut my nails back. They were getting so long and almost felt heavy. Right now they are short and light...making typing a lot easier.

♥ I am thankful the only person besides Jackson who has seen me today was the UPS guy...My hair is a crazy mess and I don't even care.

♥ I am thankful that I finally found some social media cards I really like. I can't wait for my Favicards to come in! I plan on leaving them in all kinds of places plus giving them out when needed.

♥ I am thankful for having the best kitty cat on the planet. Romeo should be on the cover of Cat Fancy for sure. It's amazing how one animal can change everything. He is just amazing.

♥ I am thankful that today I tackled a lot of the kitchen clutter and got rid of a lot of stuff we are just not using. It feels good to make room.

♥ I am thankful that Scott doesn't mind a late dinner tonight. Jackson had left overs and I didn't have dinner done until 8. Yikes.

♥ I am thankful that even though I haven't been getting much sleep, I haven't been too grumpy. It's normally really hard for me to go on no sleep but I am doing better. Not sure that's a good thing though.

♥ I am thankful for honest friends and family. I can always count on them to set me straight!

♥ I am thankful for the beautiful stars I stood outside and looked at the other night. It was just one of those times when you deal with the cold for the beauty in the moment. It was quiet and breath taking.

♥ I am thankful for the long hot baths that always seem to put me in the right place before I climb in my bed. I know it costs a ton to fill up that huge bathtub nightly but its so worth it.

♥ I am thankful for the subscribers I have on youtube.

It's your comments that have really helped me.. inspire me...and I am truly grateful for you guys. And not just my youtube friends.. my bloggy friends too!

Thankful Thursday!

Hello friends! I hope you are having a beautiful evening. I am back with my Thankful Thursday post when I share what I am grateful for in this past week. It really is life changing to go through your blessings each day...let alone one day of the week. Here's my thankful list and blessings! ♥

♥ I am thankful that our cold weather has not been as bad as some. We here in SC have had some chilly nights but no snow or ice.

♥ I am thankful that my old friend is being treated for her cancer. I couldn't get a hold of her and knew she slipped away to The Cancer Institute of America. I am blessed to have had her as a friend and I am worried about her. Please keep her in your prayers.

♥ I am thankful I got the big job of grooming all the cats in the house. It was a huge job but today I bathed and groomed 4 Persian Cats. A job I am not always fond of...and neither are they. But its done and they all look so much better!

♥ I am thankful for the warm cups of hot cocoa that have edged off the chill of the night. Plus the marshmallows make my sweet tooth happy!

♥ I am thankful and blessed for a husband who works long hours to provide for us. I don't always like him being gone for such long periods of time, but I am thankful that he is a hard worker and he does it for us.

♥ I am thankful we are having our family come for Thanksgiving. It won't be everyone but I am thankful for everyone who comes and visits! It should be a great time!

♥ I am thankful that Houseparty got their website fixed and I was selected for the Hasbro Gaming Party. Totally love that because we love board games!! And with the cooler months, we break them out more.

♥ I am thankful for Netflix. Yep... I sure am! I have been catching up on all kinds of shows and finding new ones too. I just watched Mr. Brown With Judy Dench and it was amazing. Its the life of Queen Victoria after Albert died....how did I ever miss this movie!?

♥ I am thankful for the fireplace. I seriously love it and only wish I had a bar thing across the top so I could cook over the fire. How cool would that be....I would totally be the pioneer woman if I could get that started!

♥ I am thankful that Jackson's school is stepping up a little more. I know its hard to control a school full of kids but if we must send our kids there, then they should protect them all...plain and simple.

♥ I am thankful my sister seems to be doing so good with her job at Disney. She lives in Orlando and went to school for entertaining so its the perfect fit. You should seriously see some of the parties and activities she goes to. It feels to me like she has found a great opportunity. Here's a couple of her pictures of different parties she has been to this past week....I didn't think she would mind me showing them! She's the one in the blue shirt!

See... it does look like a lot of fun huh!? Yea... I totally should have went into party planning myself. Tell me that's not a great job for a girl in her 20's! Laci...I think you got the right job this time in the right country! :) I love you! 

♥ I am thankful for Obama's Healthcare plan. I was nervous about insurance for Jackson. Scott's insurance through work is outrageous and I got a plan for Jackson alone through Obamacare and it has covered everything so well. No problems... Low copays... and low prescriptions. I might be one of the few happy with it but I am grateful because before we were paying big time for Jackson's insurance and now its a fraction of the cost. That is a blessing.

♥ I am thankful for all the pretty colors of the leaves even if they are flying through the air. Soon they will be all gone with one more good rain but the vivid colors outside.

♥ I am thankful that I finally got the big stack of mail on my desk sorted. I burnt the old documents that didn't matter and filed the rest. I hate lots of paperwork.

♥ I am thankful and blessed with Shanna, one of my closest friends on the planet. She is totally a supportive friend who I truly adore. I am thankful for all the time she listens to my crazy ass.

♥ I am thankful that this little elephant was able to save his own life. I was scared for that little guy.. I love cats and elephants the same and it was hard to see but I bet that baby elephant was grateful for the that day!

♥ I am grateful for Tylenol. I've had a lot of evening headaches this week. Not migraines because the Tylenol worked. Plus its helped with the backaches.

♥ I am thankful for all my new subscribers and blog friends! On Youtube I am almost to 10k. WOW! How exciting. I know that is not huge in terms of youtube but to me that's alot of people. Thank you... thank you...thank you. I love you guys.

♥ Thankful Thursday

Hello friends! I hope you are having a wonderful Thursday. I am back with what I am thankful for this week. Just because I share them in a blog, doesn't mean you have to. Just find a journal and start counting your blessings and never let a day pass without finding something to be grateful for. I find this is always great to do to keep yourself grounded. Here's this weeks list. 

♥ I am thankful that just for a little while the sun came out and warmed things up around here. But its back cold again. It for sure sweater weather. 

♥ I am thankful that Scott actually had off days this week which allowed us to spend a little more time together. 

♥ I am thankful that my oldest son who is playing a mute right now hung on the phone for 15 minutes the other night rambling on. He just needs a little more courage. But I am thankful that he is reaching out in his own way. 

♥ I am thankful that I got a ton of things done today. I woke up feeling good which motivated me to get a lot done. I feel not only good but productive today. ;)

♥ I am thankful that for the first time ever, Jackson seems to be trying to do better in school. Super proud of him. 

♥ I am thankful for another youtube friend guided me in the direction of the etsy shop for a new Erin Condren planner stamp! Yea! I just ordered it. 

♥ I am thankful tonights dinner is going to be super easy. Baked ravioli and salad....big tv night and I don't plan on spending much time in the kitchen. 

♥ I am thankful for beautiful nights. We have to deal with it getting dark sooner but the sweet smell of the candles around the house on these cold nights make the house so beautiful. Same with the fireplace. Totally thankful for the fireplace. 

♥ I am thankful that so many of you guys have been stopping by from youtube. There is so much here that is not there sooooooo.....stick around and have a look at some older post! Thank you guys! 

♥ I am thankful the cute witch that was hanging on the door is down. The shadows from that thing would freak me out night after night. She's safely sleeping in the rubbermaid box in the garage for another year. 

♥ I am thankful for a bed that feels like a cloud every night. I don't know if its I that tired when I finally crawl into it or all the comfy bedding and such but it feels so soft....no wonder I want to sleep all the time!

♥ I am thankful that our dog seems to be feeling better. With his new all natural diet and meds, he has been seizure free for a while now. 

♥ I am thankful that its just a few more hours before Scott gets home. Nights like this suck. 8-8 and then a 15 minute drive home. Yea it sucks....and I am so ready for him to come home. Just his very presence brings out an insane energy with the animals and Jackson! 

♥ I am thankful for good coffee. When I do crawl out of that cloud, I head straight to the coffee pot and my first warming cup is amazing. Speaking of drinks... I am thankful for good wine too! 

♥ I am thankful to all the strong women in my life. They help me so much in so many ways. It really does take a village to raise a child and I need all the help I can get. And you guys too, have helped me in so many situations and I truly appreciate it. 

♥ I am thankful for all the work our oven has been doing this past week. I love using the oven in the cooler months to cook because it helps warm the house up at the same time. Totally love anything that keeps our house warm without a huge electric bill. 

♥ I am thankful that after all these years my ex husband and I are starting to see things from a different point of view. Now its just about doing right for the kids. We will still butt heads from time to time but him maturing has sure helped things. 

♥ I am thankful being blessed. I don't always feel it but over all I have a great family, beautiful kids, loyal friends, a warm home with food to fill our souls, and so much more. I have to remember the good when things are hard. Over all I am a very blessed woman. I hope you have a great night! 

Evening Edition.....Thankful Thursday ♥

Hello friends! I am back this evening with my Thankful Thursday post. I like this kind of blog post because no matter what is going on there is always something to be thankful for. Even though I post this one day of the week, but if you can't wake up and find something to be thankful and grateful for each day, the fault is within yourself. Open your eyes and realize how many things there are to be grateful for. Here's my list. Hope you enjoy!

For the warm fireplace warming our house. I just got it going and I am thankful that my toes are warming up!

Things calming down with Jackson at school. He's not so happy about the measures we are taking to protect him but that is besides the point. If he is going to be in any school, we will go to any level to make sure he is protected. Plain and Simple.

I am thankful for my wonderful subscribers who come back everyday and share our lives. I get so many emails and comments from other mothers and women who share in the same struggles, happy times, and life situations letting me know I am never alone. I can't tell you how much that means to me....I am so thankful.

I am thankful my mom is doing better from having her wisdom tooth cut out. She called today. I didn't realize she was having the procedure and she called today and I thought she was having a stroke or something. I was ready to call 911 until she started trying to explain why she couldn't talk. Sigh...just thankful its only a tooth.

I am thankful for my bad habit of just tossing the hot fireplace poker into the wood pile is changing. I would seriously use it and toss it right on top of all the wood stacked by the fireplace. Can you say....FIRE HAZARD?  Yea... my dumbass is working hard on hanging it back up.

I am thankful that our youngest kitty cat Cupcake is finally starting to act like a cat. It's no secret that Romeo rules the roost around here but shy little Cupcake is coming into herself more and more....even picking fights! I am just happy she is starting to act like a normal kitty cat instead of a scared kitten.

I am thankful that my oldest son is finally starting to reach out. Its been a difficult relationship but if he wants me to be his mother, he has to allow it. We miss him so much and are thankful that he is trying in his own ways. Hopefully he will get the get the courage up to come be apart of our entire family.

I am thankful for the sleep I have been getting lately. For whatever reason... I have really been sleeping in later than what I want. But that tells me.....my body is needing more rest. So be it.

I am thankful that Eric Frein was captured today. You know the guy living in the woods like he was Rambo or something. He was a danger to that community in every way. So I am glad its over and now he can stand trial for the murders he did. Good Riddance. Enjoy your life in prison.

I am thankful for my son's friend Hunter's parents. They seem completely normal.. get along great with us and its nice to know another family in the neighborhood. If I have to be here, I mise well make some friends. And they are pretty cool! We are actually looking for houses elsewhere but who knows if we will really move or not.

I am thankful that little Brittany Belle went and competed with the cheer team and it was their first time. They placed 6th but it still taught them a lot. They all know now how it works and can do better next time. We are still very proud of them. Brittany say's it was one of the most stressful times of her life ( you know being 13 and all ) but she loved it and I am glad they worked hard enough to get there in the first place. You can find my princess with the little yellow heart under her.

I am thankful that Trina and her husband is coming down for Thanksgiving. We miss seeing our family up north so much that we love it when we can all get together. So she is coming... and who knows which kids are coming but no matter who comes.....we will have a wonderful time.

I am thankful that my husband is trying so hard to get things right around here. Its hard being the head of the family and I know he has a lot on his shoulders. I am thankful for his effort. However, I miss him a lot....as does Jackson.

I am thankful that my sister is growing up in such a different way I did. She is younger, a free thinker, and I am proud of her. The same with our oldest daughter Laura too. I am thankful both those girls are doing well and making us proud.

I am thankful for God listening to my many prayers. I am sure he wishes I would just shut up sometimes but I am thankful for a bigger energy that calms me. I call it God...and I know to take nothing in this life for granted. It could all be over in the blink of an eye. Last night we lost a family member on Scott's side in a terrible hit and run accident. She left 2 children and a very hurt mother. So take nothing for granted. Each moment of the day is precious.. even the bad moments. As long as you are breathing you have a chance to do things better.

I am thankful for the family time we had last night carving pumpkins. We had made it a tradition carving pumpkins together as a family. If you were to go back you will see how much better we have got over the years! It's fun and gave us some great memories hold on to.

I am thankful that the spare bedroom is picked up again. I don't know how a room we don't use gets so messy but it does. I spent a lot of time in there last night cleaning up. It looks so much better which makes me happy!

I am thankful for the stars. So many late nights I let the dog out and wait looking up at those beautiful stars and moon that light up the sky. The beauty in a private quiet moment of star gazing is something everyone should experience.

I am thankful that I have stuck pretty well to my October grocery budget. Right now... I could seriously go to the store but I am waiting a couple more days and dealing with it. I have cupcakes to make tonight or tomorrow and we are having a fun Halloween dinner. I already have everything needed so no need to go shopping. I hate budgets but if we are ever going to actually save money, I have to try to stick to one. My husband doesn't like budgets either so its a challenge for us. The grocery was pretty easy to stick to... but its not so easy in other areas. One step at a time.

For all the great companies who want to work with me. It seriously means a lot. I have been blogging for a long while and I love working with companies who are new to me and also who's products I use and love. Its pretty nice. I always give honest reviews and I try to make them fun and easy to watch. If I love it... I love sharing it!

I am soooo thankful that Brittany Maynard  has changed her mind about ending her life on November 1st. I tried... I really tried to get on board with her right to take her own life. At least while she is still functioning. I kept asking how does she know that November 2, 2014 wouldn't be a wonderful day if she didn't take that pill. Wait. just wait. I support her taking it in the long run. Just wait though. And really it should be up to God when we go. Like or not, he intended us to be here for a certain amount of time. It just broke my heart and I am so thankful she is waiting.

I hope you guys have a wonderful night. I am off to make a quick weeknight dinner. We have a bunch of tv shows that we love coming on tonight so we are going to cozy up to the warm fire and enjoy a night in front of the tv. See ya tomorrow. Thankful Thursday

Happy Thursday friends. I hope you are getting along great with your day. I am trying so hard to get back on schedule. I am here today with a few things that I am thankful for this week. I think this is such an important post for so many reasons but it really reminds me to take a few minutes and tell what I am grateful for. Hope you enjoy.
♥ I am thankful for my husband doing morning shift. God knows I hate mornings and I totally appreciate him helping out since he is already up anyway.  ♥ I am thankful for good wine. I don't even drink often but a good glass of wine every once in a while is something for sure to be thankful for.  ♥ I am thankful that Scott and I are getting along a little better. We still are trying to find our way through the maze of marriage but we are trying. Life is complicated and marriage is long, which means lots of bumpy times. We just have to hold on.  ♥ I am thankful for all the long conversations Brittany and I have been having. Its hard not being there with her everyday but we are super close and doesn't change with miles between us. She is everything I thought she would be.  ♥ I am thankful we are moving into fall. I love all that the autumn brings. However I am thankful that its still warm here for the most part and I can still hear my little outside song birds sing to me each morning. ♥ I am thankful that my bed felt like a big fluffy cloud last night. I think I was just that exhausted but it was easy to lay down and go to sleep. Since I was able to sleep in, it felt even more amazing this morning.  ♥ I am thankful that I finally got my weekly grocery and household shopping done. It totally wore me out but now the boys can stop complaining! Stay tuned for that video later today...and it has a lot of my weekly food prep included too.   ♥ I am thankful for all the new TV shows on. I am loving Madam Secretary and How to get away with Murder. I am also loving Rush, a new USA series that both Scott and I have been enjoying.  ♥ I am thankful I got to apologize to someone I was a complete nut to here recently. I was rude...nothing he did warranted me to flip out like I did. I seriously am still working on controlling my temper at 38.  ♥ I am thankful that our dog Super Cooper has been feeling better since we have changed his diet and put him on meds. I was just thinking last night how happy I was that he has been seizure free since his last Vet visit. Yeaaaa!!! ♥ I am thankful for my oldest son calling. He might not say a lot but its nice that he is finally calling. Now I just wish he would find the courage to actually speak but I am thankful he is trying in his own way. ♥ I am thankful cozy fall comfort food. Yep...its that time of year again for soups, stews, and hearty meals. Here lately...they have been so yummy!  ♥ I am thankful for you guys. You all have been so supportive during this complicated time. I have read all your comments and I am totally thankful for all the love and support you have given us. We are doing better...one day at a time. Thanks so much. Thankful Thursday

I am so thankful today feels a little more normal to me. My schedule has been so crazy here lately. Today I am thankful for the little bit of normalcy. 

I am thankful for the beautiful weather we are having. Its still warm and sunny but the wind has been blowing all around reminding me that fall is around the corner.

I am thankful that each day I am learning to handle lifes problems with more grace. I am big with change. But I think I am doing better with it. Its hard for me not to get blinded by emotion. 

I am thankful for all the help I have got over my new computer and guess what??? A new camera too! I took back my expensive piece of shit new laptop...actually got a cheaper one and got a new Nikon camera too! :))))) And I must say, the cheaper computer is working amazing.

I am thankful that my family is forgiving since I was basically missing in action Monday - Wednesday due to all the computer issues. I promise to be more present tonight. 

I am thankful for a family full of beautiful loving kids. I know my little ones might get a little jealous but I seriously think that my husband and his exwife created my daughter Laura. :) I really feel she's my daughter rather mom and dad like it or not. She is simply amazing. Check out her blog here. 

I am thankful for Cooper not having any seizures in a few weeks. Its so scary and heartbreaking to watch him go through that. Fingers crossed with the meds, all natural diet keep working. 

I am thankful for Brittany's good grades. I think education is her freedom. It means everything to me that she stays on track and get to the point eventually get a wonderful job that she loves and can fully take care of herself. That is my hope for all of our kids. 

I am thankful for good coffee in the mornings. It costs a little bit more but so worth it.

I am so very thankful for all the emails you send in. And you know I was advised a while ago that I should remove the contact form on my contact me page and you guys use it DAILY. Its clearly a way you guys love to get a hold of me. I thankful because you guys lift me up and are always so kind. Who knew a blog would give me such great friendships. 
I am thankful for the advice you guys give and I totally appreciate you. I hope you guys are having a great day...I am about to go clean up the 2nd floor and then work downstairs into the evening.  I might be back with another video this evening if it uploads to youtube right. Something happened and just went crazy in the middle....looking like a broken tv. So I am re - uploading it right now. I sure hope this time there are no problems!
