Hello and Happy Tuesday to you all! I hope you are having a great day. I am trying to get motivated but God knows.. I am just exhausted and just don't want to do anything. Yesterday wasn't the best day for Scott and I. We both seemed to bitch more than anything. Not so fun for any of us so I just went to bed early. I think with everything going on, neither of us truly feel appreciated. Its just been a lot to get moved with the kids here.. get adjusted to a new city that we don't know.. and still have all the problems of every day life. Let's just say.. its been stressful to say the least. Hopefully tonight will be better. I always say that I have a real marriage. There are really good times and also there are times when its not so good. I don't really want to bash my husband.. being I know it's not all him. We both have our own issues but it's nothing that we can't work through but I really did want to ring his neck last night! I left last night to go get some sweet tea and frosties.. Brittany and Zane thought I ran away. Then they realized my favorite cat was still here so there was no way I wasn't coming back! Hahaha! I pretended my little trip to Wendys at 1am was a vacation but running away really isn't an option with a houseful of kids! Brittany pointed out that she will always find me.. and I know she would! Once I came home we had to have a talk about marriage...the kids hate it when we don't get along and they have questions if they here us arguing. So I explained that marriage is hard sometimes but that doesn't mean you give up. Honestly.. Scott feels over worked and under appreciated and I feel the very same way. He feels that way with his outside job and I feel that way with the kids and house. I think we need a vacation! :)
Actually the kids and I did go swimming yesterday...kinda like a mini vacation! In the evening.. we took off to the YMCA.
Brittany and Zane fell in!
Jackson wasn't so crazy about there being no diving boards so he did laps..
There goes Zane!
It was fun. I have never been a member of the YMCA but they have a lot to offer. They will even babysit as part of my membership! There was a lot there to do...and I think we will be there a lot in the coming weeks.
I have some errands to run today. I am heading to Shelby to get some prescriptions from the Dr., and I am going to stop by the old house to check the mail and look for some lost spices. My box with my favorite and most used spices is missing and I want to try to find it. Maybe we forgot it even though I didn't see it on the last walk through. I don't know where it is. I just hope it didn't get thrown away because its going to be pretty expensive to replace.
So I am off to get cleaned up.. run those errands and then come home and get Jackson packed up. I have a bazillion emails to sort through tonight.. sorry if you have been waiting on a reply. I promise I will sit down tonight and start replying!
Have a beautiful Tuesday

When we lived in SC, the YMCA was HUGE. Everybody was a member, it seemed like. And they had such great programs.
