I have been testing out so many products lately.. and today I would like to take a few minutes to talk to you about my experience with the new
Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation.
$9.99, CVS
What the Revlon website says:

Lets talk about the packaging.. Very similar to the Revlon Colorstay in that it's in a glass bottle with a plastic lid, with no pump. For $9.99 you get 1fl. oz, which is the same for Revlon Colorstay. What's nice here is that it offers an SPF of 20 rather than 6, like the normal Colorstay. I don't really care for the bottle however.. I think this kind of packing can be messy and will spill easily if you don't have the lid on secure. A pump would have been better!
This line has 16 shades.. allowing everyone to find the right shade. On the actual displays you can use the guide to find your perfect shade. When I did that.. I was lead to the #120 Vanilla. I am pretty pale right now with it being winter and this shade really does match my skin pretty well.. And remember.. if you don't really know what shade to get in ANY foundation.. lighter is always best because once you add powder, bronzer, blush.. it changes anyway.. so remember to always go on the lighter side if your not sure!
Anyway.. the foundation itself is pretty light and thin.
I found when using this foundation, I prefer to use my fingers to really blend it into my skin. Revlon claims this foundation is light and buildable and to be honest.. they are right. I found when using this foundation it does feel really light.. and gives a light coverage unless you do build it up in your problem areas.
I would say the finish is semi matte. Its not really dewy but its not totally matte either.. its really in the middle.
The top picture is without a flash and the bottom one has a flash.
I found that it does kinda settle into fine lines.. even on my hand.. but honestly its not such a huge deal for me because my face doesn't have the same kind of fine lines as my hands.
I will say.. the first time I used this I didn't moisturize first and it was a little too drying for me. So now I for sure use my moisturizer first to keep it from blotching up on my dry areas.
I have used about 1/2 of the bottle and I am impressed with it. It wears pretty good for me. I get about 6 hours out of it and then I start to notice that it does start to break down a little bit. One way to fix this problem is to to use your concealer where needed and set your entire face with a powder.
I didn't get the powder because honestly.. I have ton of powders and being I have dry skin.. I tend to only use powder in my t-zone. And still it holds up for about 6 hours. Being I don't work outside the house.. this works great for me. I normally don't get cleaned up till early afternoon and when I wash my face at night.. foundation still comes off.. so its holding up pretty well.
My skin looks very, very natural when I wear this foundation. Friends and even my husband said how natural my skin looks when I am wearing this foundation. Revlon does a pretty good job getting their foundations right and this is no exception. I am impressed with this foundation. I would probably buy it again.. but I will still skip on the powder. This is not one of my all time favorites....yet.. but I do like it.
If you are someone who really likes that light feeling when it comes to foundation.. this is for you! Normally I do like a little heavier coverage from a foundation.. but for everyday around the house.. this works perfect!
Have you tried this foundation yet? I would love to hear your thoughts!!
Happy Monday!
