Hello Monday.. I wish you would have started off better! I woke up today with a sore throat from hell. I am sipping some hot green tea hoping it starts to calm down a little. Funny thing is, I woke up at 730 and I was fine.. But I did doze back off for a few hours and thats when I woke up feeling horrible. I hope I am not getting sick. Maybe it was the air was too cold or something.. not sure because I don't feel that sick. But the pain from this sore throat is intense to say the least. I might have to run out and get some meds to numb me up a little bit! And that would give me the opportunity to get more of those lip glosses that I love! Remember that I am going to be having a giveaway where you can win some of the same glosses that I showed you here! I am not sure when I will have the details up but it will be in the next few days!
So right now I am watching the teachers strike on the news. You know what?? I would fire everyone of the teachers that were not in their classrooms today. I totally support teachers and the hard work they do but to strike on a school day only PUNISHES THE KIDS. Its actually pisses me off. And all those parents who had to figure out what to do with their kids since the teachers weren't there. If they wanted to strike they should have done it before school.. after school.. or on a weekend. I know the point doesn't come across as strong but striking on a school day?? Pathetic. They are sure lucky I am not in charge of things.. because I would give them all the time they needed to hold their little signs and walk in a circle. I do support what they want.. better pay.. better schools.. smaller classrooms.. but I think they are only punishing the parents and kids with this stunt . I personally would like to go throw water balloons on all of them and tell them to get back in the classrooms. Just my opinion.
I am hoping this sore throat goes away so I can get busy around the house. I don't want to have to leave at all today. Instead, I need to clean our house some and get of the bigger jobs done. My bedroom closet looks like a bomb went off in there. I don't know if I am going to tackle that job today or not but it is going to happen this week for sure!
