I Don't Mind..

I don't mind it raining all night at all...Its been pouring down since early evening. I find myself in such a relaxed state when the rain is coming down. We stayed home most of the day and I think the rain suited our lazy moods! How cute is that soaked cat!? We have a full house of kitty cats and this is a total common look for our cats.. they get baths often! I think that kitty above is pissed! =)

Sounds beautiful doesn't it!? I think it will be perfect to fall asleep to tonight. I might even crack my window so I can hear it better!

One of the boys left Cooper outside in the rain and he got soaked..

Scott had to really dry him off before letting him in. I sure the rain felt good to him.. but I hate that he was forgotten.. Not good! 

 We had a really nice day having Scott home. I truly love his company ( most of the time ) .. and he makes me laugh more than anyone else ever has.. I don't know it in the beginning but I after a little while I realized how much laughter means to a marriage.

Life is serious enough.. so why not get some good laughs in while you can. I was born basically with NO sense of humor but Scott is the complete opposite and is smiling and laughing all the time. Its fun to be goofy with him.. and Jackson is cackling all the time too! Its a fun house around here most days. I can tell that Jackson is starting to get bored.. and I don't blame him for wanting school to start. Mos of his little neighborhood friends don't get him till after 6pm on weeknights so its just us during the day. I play with him a lot but there is still a lot of spare time for him. I am sure this week is going to feel the longest waiting to go to school. I have a BIG back to school post coming up but one of the key things I think you should do is get your child back on a good sleep routine... Did you know that a child needs at least

hours of sleep each night. I sure didn't realize that all these years. I thought 8 would be plenty but I was mistaken. Bedtime should be brought back to normal a week or so before school. Jackson had his tv off at 1130 last night. Tonight it was 1030.. and guess what time it will be tomorrow?? 9:30 the tv will be off. I will leave it like that till Saturday when his tv will go off at 845. Then Sunday its off at 830. And that will probably be the way it will stay throughout the school year. I think 8:30 sounds awful early but I think one of Jackson's biggest problems is not getting enough sleep. Hes always so tired so I want to make sure he is going and rested for his big return to school. Do you have any 9 or 10 year olds in your home?? What time do they get to bed??? I would love to hear if you think 11 hours is the right amount of sleep for a child in school.. I think I am just going to have to experiment with Jackson to see what works best with him.

For dinner tonight we had a old classic..

Chicken Spaghetti and Wedge Salad. OMG.. it was so good! Scott didn't think he was going to like it.. he didn't really remember me making it before but once he sat down at the kitchen table.. he knew what it was! The boys ate it up.. and the salad was simple yet very tasty! I plan on getting a post up tomorrow or Thursday of the directions to make this. Its so versatile and you can switch it up really easy and I will be sure to explain how. I think dinner was perfect tonight..but the boys picked out the red peppers. * Sigh * I am the only one in the house who loves any kind of peppers.. But they dealt with it and still enjoyed dinner.

I got a full sized Loreal Youth Code BB Cream Illuminator that I can't wait to try out.. and it was from the O Magazine!! I haven't opened it yet because I wanted to do the video first so I have got to get it filmed!
