* Sleepy * hello to you all. I just crawled in bed and about ready to get some sleep. It was a looong day getting the kids adjusted. Things are so different here than it is at their dads house so an adjustment period is always necessary for us!
Poor Romeo is exhausted too. The kids have not left him alone for 2 days now and tonight, I had to make the rule that if they picked him up then they would loose the tv. Imagine Brittany holding on to his upper body..Jackson holding on to his feet and tail.. and then a screaming match about who gets the kitten.. So yea.. I am sure they scared him to death but he is also finally getting some rest too!

Today was busy with the kids. I am doing my best to keep up with the blogging and be a good mom and wife at the same time and its just not as easy now to steal away time to blog. But I am trying!!
The kids were crazy in the am. They busted into my bedroom door screaming at each other and wanting me to sort things out before I even opened my eyes..
But we got things calmed down..
And then we went to do a little shopping..
I don't normally take kids to the market with me. Usually, I am trying to figure out what we need, match up coupons, and get out of there and the kids just really complicate it. But I took them anyway and
it was fun watching them shop around together. We got out of there on budget which was surprising!!
We came home and had a very easy lunch
outside on the back deck..
Afterwards we had some quiet time.. I took from 4 to 5 to myself and the kids spent time in their rooms reading.
Since it was a late night for Scott we decided at 530 to go hiking in the woods for a while..
The kids really loved it down there!
And so did Super Cooper!
Once we got back, I enjoyed a loooong shower to kinda give me the extra boost I needed to get through the evening..
I made a simple..
pasta dinner ( Brittany's request ) and then spent the rest of the night with the loves of my life. Scott and the kids had sometime together and after dinner, I had the kids clean the table while Scott and I took sometime to ourselves outside. I think Brittany thought I was crazy when I told them to do it.. She has done it for years now and I don't know what would make her think this summer would be any different. I think they are part of the family.. and they get to help. Plus husby and I need a few minutes of time to ourselves too. I missed him so much today. He hasn't been feeling well and I was worried about him.
I think we figured out our schedule to go get Zane.. We will be getting him in a couple of weeks and instead of hauling the kids almost 11 hours to Louisiana, my friend Courtney is going to watch them for me.Brittany is crazy about her and Jake and Jackson get along really well.. We are planning it all out.. I want to make it as easy on her as I can being she has a newborn at home too. I am just thankful she can help. Shes a great friend to me and that is one of the most honorable things any person can hope to be. A good friend is not always easy to be.. but I am super thankful for her being so helpful and supportive. She actually someone I confide a lot in anymore. I am sure I will be posting pictures of the their adventures when that time comes.. She loves pictures as much as I do! =) Its kinda funny.. A couple insecure people wanted me to pick between them and her.. Ha! Like I am going to do that..I told Scott.. I am picking the one who isn't making me pick. I think those kind of people need to grow up and better know.. I won't pick. I am not that disloyal. I am thankful she is a friend and she is someone I trust.. that doesn't come easy for me. And my kids love her.

I haven't been buying as much being I have a massive amount of make up. I am sure Brittany will get a bunch but I am running out of room.. Right now it has to be things that I really want to try or things I need to repurchase.. otherwise I am going to have to dedicate a new room to the make up room! I have a lot of upcoming posts.. so stay tuned. Things will slow down around here a little for summer but I will do my best to keep up! I am sure when they go back to school things will get back to a more normal schedule on the Married Life Posts and the Household Tips and Tricks. Things are crazy around here right now so those posts will come when I can get them finished. I do take a lot of notes..so when I am ready to do a post, I have plenty of ideas!

Tomorrow should be pretty easy around here. Just hanging out at the house with the kids. I am sure I will hear - I am bored - grumbles but they have plenty to do. Neither of the kids are fully unpacked and settled in.. so going to focus on that along with laundry tomorrow.
Well I am sleepy.. time for bed
