Good Morning!!

 

Hello friends! Hope you are having a good Wednesday morning! Its been pouring down raining here since last night. Its still raining right now. Perfect for a day at home. I tried sleeping in some since it was nice and dark in my room but I didn't make it past 830. Told you guys I have been getting up! I am having to use the dryer today because of the rain. I think this morning is the first time I have had it on in close to 2 -3 weeks. Yesterday was extremely busy for me. I got up early and went..went..went.. by time I hit the bed last night around 1130 I was done. Its not too often when only do 1 blog post for the day. I will be trying to catch up today but its also going to be a busy day around here. The house needs some work.. both upstairs and downstairs. But I will get as many post as I can up today.. including some good coupon ones too. So stay tuned for those to come later. Also I am running behind with the Spring Clean Challenge. I will try to get up area 3 tonight sometime but it could be tomorrow before I have it up.. So sorry. Just finish area 2.. the kitchen and maybe pick up area one.. dining room, entry way and front porch in the mean time.

I took off about 9am to go do some shopping being hsuby was coming home early. I knew we needed some stuff but I didn't want to take up the day for us in the market.

By 1030, I was loading stuff up

in the car. I am still adjusting to the early mornings so I was a bit tired after all the shopping. I saved around $ 19 in coupons too. I wish I would have prepared a little more and I could have saved more but o-well. $19 is just fine with me!

heading out on our day..

Our first stop was

Jacksons new school. We had a tour and it seemed like a nice little school. Its not as big as the one he is in now but its nice.. and its super close. Most of my friends around here have told me its one of the best schools in the county. I am not too sure. I have tried to check the ratings for myself but I haven't really found what I am looking for. There will be 6 4th grade teachers. Does that sound like a lot from anyone else?? Guess they have a lot of kids! There are only 2 male teachers in the entire school.. the music teacher and the P.E. teacher. I just hope he likes it!

Then husby and I were off to

Target to do a little shopping. I was shopping for other people rather than myself.. but husby got a few things and I ended up treating myself with a yummy

tea from Starbucks. It was so good. I do take a ton of sugar syurp pumps because I like it super sweet. It was soooo good. We then were off to see a friend and her new baby in the hospital. I am trying to ok a picture of the baby with her for on here because he is soooooooo freaking cute! Who doesn't love a sweet little newborn!? The hospital was SUPER nice. One of the best baby wards I have ever seen. So calming and pretty in there. I didn't get any pictures because I didn't think she would want me posting them plus its not so respectful to be around the ill or patients snapping pictures left and right. So I opted out on the pictures. Even though I wish I would have gotten one of this amazing waterfall that took up this giant hallway. It was beautiful. Even Scott was shocked by how nice it was. He was pointing out and saying.. See, hospitals make too much money. Personally I would rather have the best hospital possible rather than one that cuts corners and is dirty. It was really nice!

We had to get home because the dishwasher guy was suppose to be here to check out the door on it but we didn't make it back in time. We came in for a few minutes and then we decided that we would take off and do some fun shopping together. Neither of us wanted to sit in the house yesterday so away we went.

We went to a few places including the mall. I got some new

Clinque Foundation to try out. I loved the Dewy Smooth but I don't think they are making it anymore. I didn't see it and forgot to ask about it.. Instead, I was busy checking out all the new foundations and settled on this super balanced foundation in

I also got a sample of the

moisturesurge foundation but I think she gave me too dark of a shade. We went around and around with all the colors but I am not sure we found the right one. It looked fine on my wrist in the store but out in the natural light it looked too dark. So I might have to get another shade to try out. If I am going to spend big money on anything its going to be foundation and concealer. I like Clinque a lot for foundations. I wish they had a few more colors but they make some good products. I will do a full review of the SuperBalanced foundation in the coming weeks.

I also got this pretty purse at the mall...

I really liked it. Its kind puffy with a silky lining. Scott and I both got some clothes too. I got a couple sundresses too. I got a yellow and grey stripped dress and a black dress.. but both are in the washer right now. I can't help but to wash everything that is new. I don't want the germs from where others have maybe tired them on. I will get pictures after they are laundered.

We then took off and went to a few nice thrift shops to see what we could find. We love going through shops with old stuff! We have a few really nice ones too. I however didn't really find any antiques but I did get this set of

Canisters. I know they are a little out dated but for some reason they stood out to me.. and I wanted them. So I got the entire set.. and I intend on using them!

I found another purse that I liked a lot..

This one is a satchel kind of purse..

And more for fall but I liked it a lot.. it has this

flower pattern on the inner flap and on the strap. Its a little worn but I like that look. Can't wait to use this later in the year! Remember if you buy a second hand purse, check out all the hardware really good on the item, and make sure the lining inside is in really good shape. I hate when a lining is tore up.. so always check first!

After all our running around.. both husby and I were starving.. So into to Sushi Dojo we went.

I had a great dinner..

Salad and Soup... no pic of the soup..forgot! But it was the same Dojo soup that I always get!

And another steak Bento Box.. Amazing!!

Is that not pretty!? It was sushi with scallops on top. And they plated it up so pretty! Its actually called a volcano roll.

By time we got home... I was an exhausted mess. I was so happy to get in the shower. All my energy was gone so I just sat down and let the water pound on me. It wasn't long after that, husby and I both climbed into the bed and were out. The rain last night made it even better to fall asleep. I think we both woke up feeling better this morning!

So that was my day.. Pretty busy for a freaking Tuesday. Just glad today is going to be easier!

I am waiting on my video to upload on youtube.. so when that is done in the next 20 minutes or so.. I will post this!
