Afternoon friends!
Hope you are having a beautiful day. Its sunny and hot here. Last night we slept with the windows open downstairs and ran the air upstairs. With a bigger house, we have 2 air conditioning units and 2 heaters and it just doesn't make sense to run them both. So we are pretty much running the air on what ever floor we are on. Hopefully that will help us save a little money. Right now I don't even have the air on up or down stairs but I am sure as the afternoon continues on.. I will have to put the air on. Super Cooper alone has trouble tolerating the heat.
* Remember, if you have animals outside in the heat that they have fresh cold water and shade to get into *
Sorry about the no posting last night. First I was dealing with text message problems with my phone and then I just got sleepy.. Scott has got the flu now too. I am doing better but I still have a bad cough and runny nose but he just got sick.. and of course, husby feels like he is dying. =( We dosed him up with lots and lots of meds yesterday to hopefully make today easier on him. But I am sure he is moaning and groaning around there today.
I don't have any huge plans around here today except cleaning the upstairs a bit and working on Michaels laundry. Since we are caught up with ours.. its a good time to get his done. There are times he does his own laundry but I help out when I can!
I also plan on working on some videos of some of the new beauty products I got. I also decided that I will do a monthly favorites post or video from now on too. Its been requested and I think it will be fun! I have so many reviews to do.. and I need to get started before I am further behind. Also, someone said this is no longer a beauty blog.. but instead a coupon blog..I should clear it up that this is a " KISHA BLOG " ..I blog about what I want.. and I personally feel its a blog that covers everything from family life, to make up and beauty items and in an attempt to save money, a frugal blog. So many of you guys have commented on facebook and email about the coupons that I list.. I don't list them all..instead I list the ones I like most.. after all.. this is MY blog. About 10 people were so excited yesterday over the free target beauty bag and that makes me feel good!! Who doesn't love a good freebie!?
This is a big weekend coming up for us. First off, Friday is our aniversary.. And then Sunday is Easter. I haven't done any Easter posts yet but I have a few coming up so stay tuned. Since the kids are not here, I doubt we will be doing very much for Easter. I haven't even put out my Easter decorations yet. YIKES!!
I dreamed of my new kitten last night! I sure can't wait to see him.
Speaking of kitty news.. I have another kitty that is going to be moving in around Christmas time too. Yep.. that beautiful mom of mine is getting me another male for Christmas! =))))) Super Dooper Happy!! =))))) .. I want about 10 females and 2 males. Scott and I are working on a set up for all the cats.. right now we have 2 females but I will be keeping a female from both of their next litters. I don't want them all just roaming the house so we are making 1 room just for the cats. However pregnant females and kittens stay only in my room so I can keep a very close eye on them all. Exciting times in terms of the kitty cats! I can't wait to get that kitten on May 6th! Just 2 days after my moms birthday!
I also want to take a second today to say that my prayers are with the people in Dallas where all those tornadoes ripped through the city yesterday. Scott and I was in shock when we were sitting here watching the news and saw semi tractor trailers flying through the air. I was in shock.. My prayers are with those families effected by that crazy round of tornadoes.
Well, I have some things to do..
