Hello friends!

Well my birthday is officially over. Yea!! I don't like a lot of celebrations.. I never really have.. It was a quiet day starting off around here..

It was gloomy and started raining.. and stayed that way most of the day..

It was thundering and lightening... and it just kept raining. But that was ok.. I actually liked it.. I took it pretty easy today. I didn't figure on my birthday that I needed to do a whole lot of anything!

Husby came home with a really cute cake..

I thought it was sweet. I wasn't sure what the house meant.. but husby told me it symbolized our life together.. the American Dream and of course I loved the

kitty in the front yard!

It was really sweet of him and of course its chocolate and delicious!

Husby got me a gift certificate for some make up and told me he has been on the hunt for a kitty but sadly he had not found one yet.. =(  But we are really on the hunt for one.. and I have got to find one soon!!!

Before we even cut into the cake, we went and enjoyed my birthday dinner at

This is one of the best places to eat in our town. I seriously love it!

Scallop Bento Box which was amazing.

The scallops were to die for.

When we got back Laura and baby Ashlynn were here. It was perfect timing because we were just ready to cut the cake!

Isn't long after that, I was soaking away in the bath.. It felt amazing.

From there, I have just been hanging out with husby and the kids. Laura looks like her belly grew 3x since we last saw her a couple of weeks ago. That baby is coming soon!

Again..

for all the emails, ecards, phone calls, and facebook messages. Each one of you who left me a message or called me..or sent a card.. made me smile today.. thank you. I even met a new reader who is right here in my area. The email was so kind. I am not sure if I am going to respond tonight or tomorrow.. but it was really nice to hear about her and how this blog has impacted her life in some simple kind of way. I know day in and day out its mostly about me... and my journey as a wife, mother, friend, .. its my blog of course but I love hearing about your lives too. Its like driving down a dark road and looking into the windows of the lit up homes wondering what their lives are like.. I know I am not the only one out there that does that right!? Keep talking to me and sending those emails in... its super nice to hear from you!

Anyway, it was a great day.. totally relaxing and I am ending my night with a piece of chocolate cake and glass of milk!
