Exhausted...

Hello all!

Its 12am our time but 11am here.. I am totally exhausted. First off, I took a ton of pictures today but I am only sharing a few until we get back home. We left at 5am and I had not went to sleep. So as we drove through the massive fog ( as you can see above ) I dozed off. Scott says I slept about 5 hours. We stopped at Mickey D's first and then Scott started driving South.

When I woke up, he was hungry and I was too. He was also really tired. So I thought getting some air and food would do him good. So we enjoyed a lunch at

Cracker Barrel. I had lunch and he had breakfast. I ate almost every bit and then we were back in the car. It took over 10 hours to get here. We stopped at the store and picked up some snacks and made it

to the hotel.

And boy..

what a nice hotel.

Our room was super nice too. So mom and Don were hung up in traffic. They are still not here. But they are on the way and should be here soon. We got cleaned up and took off to get Zane and go get a bite to eat before he went to one of the Mardi Gras parades with his mom, brothers and sisters. So we get there. Scott's ex wife comes and hugs me and was super kind. I was nervous.. but she wasn't at all. I was kinda knocked off my feet at how the situation was. We ended up taking Zane and his brother ( not Scott's son ) because he really wanted to go and neither of us wanted to hurt his feelings. We went and got some food. The boys were really kind and little nervous but they warmed up pretty fast.

I was relieved at how things turned out. Understood that all that worrying I did before did me no good. I am so thankful for our lives. We really are blessed. I know the other night I wanted to ring husby's neck but nothing.. and I mean nothing.. changes how I feel about him. I am so in love. How in the world did I get this lucky?

Right now it looks like

husby is having sweet dreams.. And its time for me to join him.

Tomorrow we will be getting up about 9 am and heading to get Zane, and going to the aquarium. Should be really fun!

I doubt I will be blogging in the am..
