Tonight I am going to go over a couple more of the Maybelline Eye Tattoo. I have been raving about these in other post.. You can click HERE AND HERE to see those post. I am a big fan of the

MAC Paint Pots.. Which is basically just a cream shadow that is great when used as a base. They come in a ton of colors. They are kinda pricey.. around $ 18 each. I own 3 but now that I have found..
The Maybelline Eye Tattoo pots. Yes, I am going to call them pots too because they are packaged almost the exact same.. in the cutest little pot!
This purple shade is
~ Painted Purple ~
Just so you can see here is the MAC Paint Pot in
Half Wild.
See how close they are.. Now mine has a flash on it but they are so close.. I think they could be the same.
Here's the swatch..
Is that not pretty?
The next one I want to show you is..
This beautiful white one in
Too Cool
Its another must if you love the MAC Paint Pots This beautiful white base would make any color powder shadow stand out.
One of the main differences between these and the MAC Paint pots is a few of these colors have shimmer in them where as the paint pots don't. I think they are so similar to each other that its hard to really notice. Most people I know who use the paint pots use it as a base to their powder shadows. So the paint pot is covered up anyway. Even with these, its hard to see the glitter coming through when you layer another shadow on top.
I love these eye color tattoos. They are totally worth the money. They are creamy, easy to blend, very pigmented and stays on all day without creasing.
They are a little more sheer than the paint pots but they are buildable and for $ 10 less, I don't mind. There are not many drugstore cream shadows that are worth buying but these are different. I think they are very nice. I used this as a primer for my eyeshadow with nothing else underneath it, and my eyeshadow stayed completely vibrant and crease free all day (10+ hours). I am thrilled to say I have finally found a drugstore brand eyeshadow primer that I really really love.

These little posts are very useful and can be used in different ways... You can wear them as a liner, alone as shadow, or as a primer for powdered shadows.
I am very pleased with these! Not only are they affordable they are amazing quality. They definitely live up to the hype they have been getting. I do plan on picking up more colors to use as bases because they work so well. I have used paint pots and the double wear cream shadows and they are comparable without having to shell out the money on the higher brands. If you are looking into finding affordable eyeshadow bases, I suggest you check these out!
I will be doing some looks with the ones I have.. and I will be working towards getting all of them!
Right now I have
Tough as Taupe — dark satin taupe
Too Cool — frosty cool white
Bad to the Bronze — metallic bronze
Painted Purple — vibrant shimmering violet
Bold Gold — metallic yellow gold
Audacious Asphalt — metallic midnight grey
So I have 4 more to get.. and I will be doing more reviews on all the colors. In THIS POST you can check out more pictures and swatches of - Bad to the Bronze - & - Audacious Asphalt.
Like I have said.. these are totally worth it, to just use as primer alone. Yes they are blendable and you can wear them alone but I find that these just make the most amazing base!
Hope you find some sales and go get you a few of these! I don't think you will be disappointed!
