Goodbye JULY...

Its a late night again around here.. Its 230 and my goal is to be in bed in 30 minutes.. So I have to be fast with this post.. Not like I am tired but I should get some sleep sometime soon!

Can you believe we are done with July.. Wow.. time sure does go fast.

Anyway..

I got quiet a few picture from today so here they are!

First up this morning was Jackson and Scott.. They headed out for a boys morning of horse riding, 4 wheeling and fishing!

Then they got home and before we knew it we all piled in the car to go look at this house. I should have got the pictures from Craig's list so you could see the difference..

So the house was $ 1200.00 a month.. only about 15 miles from Lake Lure soooo..

We were kinda excited to go see it.

What a huge freaking disappointment..

YUCK!!

Here is the kitchen and this is a decent picture but if I would have showed you the part to the left .. you would have seen busted up walls.. and a terribly nasty ass stove..

This fire place in the living room was the only part of the house that was actually nice.

If we could have just lived in the living room maybe it would have been ok..I quickly walked through the bedroom where there were windows boarded up because they were busted out.. The floors were rotting and I don't even want to explain how nasty the bathrooms was.. I was out of that house in less than 5 minutes.. I think Scott got out a few minutes sooner.. This lady had to be as crazy as could be if she thought anyone would pay $1200.00 for this. I sent her a nice email explaining why we wouldn't be taking it. I think she lives in Nevada so I wanted her to know that this house is in no shape to rent.. I felt maybe she didn't know since she was not in the area.

We head outside and a magical moment happened..

This huge black cat came bouncing up to us. The house is empty.. the cat had no collar so I suspect he was dumped..

He was the sweetest thing ever..

We all loved him and I might have to go back and see if he is there.. If he will let me.. he might just have a new home.. I'm not kidding either.. We'll see!

We drove back.. it took almost an hour. BTW.. the pictures on Craigs List had to be years old.. The house was in such bad shape. I really wanted to like it too..

So anyway.. we get home and it wasn't long before I headed to ...

to get something for dinner. I took Jackson with me while Brittany played at a friends house.

Should have known he would have picked out something simple!

Here was dinner.. Sloppy Joe's and Tator Tots!!

It was actually better than what I thought it would be!

We all kinda hung out. Scott took the kids on the motorcycle for a couple rides around town..

and then I got busy giving Gabby a bath.. She was none too happy with me. But she had not had a bath since she gave birth to the kittens.

I towel dried her and she hid under the stool until I got the blower and comb all set up..

Poor baby..

And she is clean!! She is not too happy with me.. Can you tell by that look or..

her looking away!! LMAO.. She is such a little priss!

Meanwhile..

Giovanni and Giovanni Jr were napping together on the couch.. These are two peas in a pod! Identical in looks and personality.

and he needs his eyes cleaned out!! Sorry we didn't plan these pictures!

Double trouble!

Speaking of trouble.. Brittany likes to take my good books into the bathroom to read while she takes a bath.. So now she has ruined not 1 book but 2 books.. I was super upset because we had already been through this with the first book. These are expensive cat books .. To be very honest I wanted to whip her butt but instead she got to..

write sentences ... She had to fill up the paper ... on both sides with..

~ I will take care of my mommy's stuff and books ~

You would have thought I had beat her the way she complained.. I think she would have rather me busted her butt. But I got my point across... and I bet she doesn't do it again!

Then it was time for the kids to get to bed. As many of you know.. I am trying to get the kids back on some kind of schedule before they head back to their dads for school.. She was not happy about that either!

So while I was in the living room a voice message came across my phone and I LOVED it!!! I couldn't figure out how to upload it so I recorded it with my camera and uploaded it on youtube.

She fell to sleep a few minutes later!

Well that's about all for my day!!

I hope you all had a great weekend!! It was pretty good for us.. However, today Scott and I got a little moody with each other. I hope that tomorrow is better.. My car is still in the shop.. The stupid mechanic broke something on the motor when he was putting my car back together.. so he had to order another part and I am still waiting on it. Scott is suppose to bring me home a loaner sometime tomorrow.. All I can say is.. this better get handled really freaking fast before I blow up over it. I have been a good sport but this is wayyyyy too long.. I have no confidence in any of the guys down there who works on the cars.. Its pathetic.. But.. I have to try to remain calm because it is his dealership.. They are doing us a favor..with a huge discount.. but enough already!

Well.. off to bed I go!
