Back to just US..

Well today we got back to it being just us.. Its been 3 months since we have had the house to ourselves. Its kinda strange actually..

We got up today around 10..Got the cabin cleaned up...then we were all off to our last breakfast..We ate.. kissed the kids goodbye and off in different directions we went.. Our GPS took us on some really country roads to lead us to the highway.. it was crazy but we had the windows down and sun roof open and I sat there in the car.. taking in the sweet smell of the wind and the quiet of it all. Its was a beautiful drive.

We arrived home around dinner time.. Michael was still here doing his laundry.. Scott and I both were happy to see him and happy to see the animals too! They took off to play golf.. I thought Scott was crazy.. He was wore out and tired but really wanted to play.. That gave me time for a quick run to the



market to pick up a few things we needed.
I worked around the house for a while then..



and before I knew it.. I was laying on the couch..dozing off. I only slept for about 30 minutes but I guess it was just enough to give me the energy needed to get through the rest of the night.

I got up and started cooking..

I baked some potatoes and made a side of sugar snap peas and dinner was served...

Michael and Scott both ate well.. and before I knew it Michael was packing out his laundry and heading home.

Then Scott and I decided to sit back and watch a movie.. ( Review coming soon! ) ...

Afterwards he was in the shower and to bed he went. Hes so tired.. He hasn't been feeling too good the last few days. I think he might have a sinus infection.. Hopefully after a good nights rest in his own bed he will feel better tomorrow..

I just got out of a hot bubble bath myself.. I couldn't even tell you how good it felt. Now I am sitting back thinking about all the stuff I have to get done in the next couple of weeks. The clock is ticking for the cruise. I have a ton of calls and errands to run this week.. I am going to try to get as much community service done as I can.. I am just going to have to squeeze it in.. No fun at all..



My inbox is really full right now. I have a ton of emails to send out this week.. I am sorry for not getting back to you guys sooner. Its just been so crazy around here.  But if you are waiting on a response..you should have it early this week sometime..

Hi Danielle...wow... we made it!! I don't know how but we did! I will email you soon and also need to head to the post office for ya too!   Miss talking to you!! Same goes for you Shanna.. will call soon!

Also.. thanks again for the emails re Brittany's hair. Even tonight I got one from a mom who's ex boyfriend did the same. She equally felt as upset as I was. Its terrible when people do that to children to hurt someone. Just so you know.. Brittany is adapting ok..She says she likes it.. I know thats not true but ok. I shouldn't have said anything about my step mom. It was my ex husband and dad.. I don't think my dad would done that but I think he did just go along with it.. I want to believe that he didn't know what Art was going to do. I don't know that to be true but that's what I hope. I am still very very upset about it. The panic is over but it still hurts really bad that they did that to her. My ex husband was on one of his tyrants and was really upset with me when he did that. I have come to the conclusion that he is forever going to be a asshole and it this time it came out on our child. She is beautiful no matter what length her hair is and will grow back.. but he made a huge mistake doing that. Brittany doesn't want me to be mad at anyone. She is such a sweet heart. So I am trying to put it out of my head and fix it the first chance I get. Thanks again for all the support.

Gatlinburg was



I have a lot of pictures to share with you guys.. I think I am going to do it by days.. Day 1 ... Day 2.. and Day 3.. Hopefully I can get working on them tomorrow sometime. But its going to take a while.. so please be patient! We had a great time there with the kids. The baby was cute as ever!

We stayed busy and before we left.. Scott and I stopped to get a caricature picture done! All the pictures will be on a later post but had to show you guys this!!

I love it!! I think its really cute..

Scott doesn't like it as much as me but its a cartoon!! Going to get more when we can! You can barley see that she drew on my black diamond cat necklace but its there! Sooo happy she put it in!
