Another Weekend.. around the corner!!

Hello all my great readers!

Hope this Friday is treating you well! I am loving that my notes worked around the house an woke up to a nice clean house! Scott and Jackson both cleaned up after themselves.. Well Scott did leave his coffee up in the living room and that wasn't too bad! I ended up leaving a note in the bathroom too telling everyone to leave the room as they found it. I know I am a stay at home wife...and I realize that I am the one that should and who does most of the cleaning. I don't mind that either.. But when they continue to mess up the house after I clean it.. is when I start to get upset. Cleaning is just one of the many things I do around here. When I have to go back and clean something that was already cleaned takes away time I could be doing something else... like spending time with them! =)

I still have a few things I want to try to get done today.. I have a feeling we are going to be inside for the most part because the high is only 67 today.. its very over cast.. I think it is suppose to rain most of the day...but still not  one rain drop!

I can't believe the weekend is already back! Wow.. did this week go fast!

I don't have much on the calender for today or this weekend for that matter. I am sure Scott will figure out something that we can do together on Sunday. I love summer days when not much is planned and you can just allow yourself to go with the flow and be lazy! Isn't summer all about being lazy when you want? As for today.. I have a little laundry that needs to be done.. I want to clean out the microwave and also work on the kittens 2 mo. old pictures! I will be adding them here.. facebook.. and on Kisha's House of Persians too. I also will be trying to update that site this weekend too. I have videos and more kitten info and pictures to add. Sometimes its just too hard to keep both sites up dated the way I want. This blog is my main one and things are up on here first every time!

Where we moved from in Ohio was a ton of Amish people. They were a huge part of the community and even back home in Indiana.. there were a ton of Amish families. In college, I ended up spending 2 days with a Amish family for research because I was writing a paper on their life style and how their simple life was or was not easier. It was a great experience. I have always respected their simple life and I find the way they live very dignified. I even like the way they decorate..I love the simple yet elegant all white curtains...quilt bedding's.. simple home.. simple life. I love technology.. I love my laptop, blackberry, tv and dvr and the microwave.. However.. I think it would be a much better life without any of it. I don't have the will power to do it myself but I entered a world without all that stuff.. I sure think life would be more amazing. I think we would all focus on what really matters.

Well.. I got pages in my notebook now for all 3 trips..

and the Cruise to Mexico..

Trying to write down everything that I need to do before hand.. all the things I need to pack.. notes for the house sitter for each trip. There are endless things to think about and get done. The Louisville trip should be easy.. Just a couple days there. Don't really like going back to that area but it will be nice to see family and friends.. Gatlinburg is our small vacation with Scott's daughter Laura, her boyfriend and their baby. I think they are coming here for a week or so first then we are heading to Gatlinburg and they will head home from there. We really wanted to do something with all the kids so really happy we are fitting that trip in! Plus.. who don't love Gatlinburg!/ Then in about 51 days ( mom is keeping track! ) we head out to Mexico on that big boat! I am concerned about clothes more than anything right now! I do want a new bathing suit and I also have to go through all my dresses and figure out what I will be wearing at dinner every night. And I also need a formal type dress for the captains dinner. I had no idea that we would be traveling so much this summer. I actually love it so pretty excited for all 3 trips! =)) Mom was kinda hoping the kids could go on the cruise but I think adults only would be best.. plus they are in school and would have to miss 5 days to go. So maybe a small summer cruise for them next summer!

Well.. going to start this day around here. Its about lunch time and I want to get a few things done but for the most part.. today is going to be..

EASY!!!
