{ The Columbia }

A few years ago I went to dinner with Scott and his dads side of the family went out to this really good dinner. It was a American/Mexican type of place and I tried some of Scott's dads soup and it was so good. I knew it had Garbanzo Beans in it but that's all.. So for 4 years or so I have been thinking of this place..

Since we were in the area.. I passing up the chance to get some of that Soup!

This restaurant is right on the water..By the way that is Scott's step mom Margie in front of me!

This is a white lien kind of place but we choose to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful day..

Each of us got some french bread.. Love how it is wrapped up in parchment paper.

Margie and I were getting soup and salad..

I choose the beef steak and onion salad.. It was served it fresh blue cheese..balsamic vinegar, oil and some seasonings.

I shared this with Scott and it was the perfect salad for a warm day.

Scott ordered the Mahi Mahi for lunch.. It was served with spanish rice and plantains.. I loved it. Really good..

Here is the Mexican Bean Soup. I don't remember it being like this.. But

once I tasted it.. It was right!! It had small potatoes and some type of sausage and Garbanzo beans in it.. I loved it!!!!!! I couldn't believe how good it was. .Going to be looking up a recipe for this one.. If any of you guys have one.. pleeeease email it to me!

As I was finishing up dinner I looked over and kinda wished we would have gotten one of those pitchers of Mojito's. YUM!!!

Sail boats were passing by and when I looked over that water.. I felt like I was home.

Great day.. Great Food. Great Memories.. Great Dreams.. Great Moment..
