Word for today..

I think the only word for today is

EXHAUSTING...

It just took a tole on me. I wish I could have stayed home.. in bed.

But I had lots to get done!

First head out to get Scott's Birthday Cake!!!

Its an adorable " Sushi " Cake.. As you can see there is 3 different kinds of Sushi, Ginger, and Wabasi along with a little bowl of soy sauce! It even came with chopsticks made out of sugar! To see the full post on the birthday cake click ~ HERE ~ ..

One of my highlights of the day was heading into the nail shop for a pedicure..

I was completely relaxed

It felt amazing..

I wish I could have paid her to do it longer!

There is no doubt in my mind that a French Manicure looks the best on the toes..

So clean and fresh looking..

I also had them paint my nails too. Wanted them to match up..

Then a argument with Scott..

So I headed out to do

some shopping.. Wasn't really feeling it at first but tried to focus on what I wanted to buy and raced through it.


By then..

Dark clouds were hovering over the house.. Scott took off to play golf and some how managed to miss the rain..It was actually a nice rain that was calming..

Around 8pm I was finally starting dinner.. I fired up the grill and made

BBQ Chicken, Baked Potatoes, and Broccoli for dinner.

Will do a What's on the Menu Post soon because it was so good!

We finished off dinner with some Birthday Cake and kinda relaxed for a while..

Was also relaxing! Such a cute little thing!

Then I decided that everything in the world could wait so I could..

Enjoy a bubble bath.. It made me feel so much better. I must have been in there over an hour.

Then I came out .. cleaned the kitchen and made..

me a lovely cup of tea. My mom gave me a huge supply of tea and I have been loving every sip! I was actually surprised that she knew how much I love tea.. I love coffee in the early am but tea is my afternoon, evening or night drink. This is loose leave Jasmine tea.. I cant even describe how good it is.

Its hard to figure out what the best moments were from today..

Those 5 things were my highlight. Plus it was Scott's birthday but still. My joy today came from simple things. I couldn't be more happy to be laying back on the couch relaxing. I am thinking I am going to bed soon. I'm tired.. its been a long day. I am thankful that tomorrow I don't have any schedule. I am free to do what I want. So sleeping in.. and taking the day as it comes.. I might have a quick run to the grocery store but nothing too pressing going on so I am hoping tomorrow is better. Scott and are doing fine. He was really nice once he got home from golf. He ended up going back in the bedroom to play on the WII which I kinda liked. Lets hope tomorrow is better for us both. He was having a bad day and put all the crap on me. I was having a good day until he was a jerk. Sigh.. I am tired of thinking about it. But tomorrow will be better!!! Or I'm hiding under a rock!!!!

Even in my dreary mood I hope you all had a better day than I did! I also hope you have a bright Wednesday!  Back from where I am from. there has been a lot of rain and flooding along with tornado's. I hope all you guys are staying dry and warm! And remember if you are told to take cover find a room that's not on a outside wall and with no windows. A bathroom is ideal..Your life is way too valuable to chance it! I have tried to explain this to my dear grandmother and I am afraid it has fallen on deaf ears!! Its better to be safe than sorry!

Well.. I am heading to bed..
