Hi friends.. I know its a bit later in the afternoon.. I have been snuggling and playing with the kids all afternoon. We are starting the day late being Scott wont be home for at least another 5 1/2 hours. Right now the kids are eating lunch so it is freeing up a few minutes for me. Then its going to be quite time.. so I can get busy cleaning this house up.
Doesn't sound so fun does it?? But that is what today is about.. Cleaning up from the weekend of us all being here. I see a ton of things just waiting on me to get cleaned up.
To make matters a little worse... Someone.. I don't know who.. got up and turned the air up all the way..So when I woke up it was close to 90 in here. Now I love the heat.. but that was too hot inside this house. So I have the blinds closed still while trying to cool this house back down. I could have killed the kids because it was soooo freaking hot in here. I thought I was going to pass out when I climbed out of the bed! I think now its down to about 80 in here. I don't even want to run the dryer right now because of how hot it is. I might have to hang clothes outside so we don't make it hotter with the dryer.
I was emailing a friend ~ Danielle ~ ( sorry its so much prettier when I say your name rather than D ) last night and part of the email was about the kitty cats.. Well.. I forgot to mention to you that Gabby actually attacked Jackson. Gabby was laying next to me after her bath and blow dry and Jackson walked up to us.. and she springed forwarded at him and hissed! I couldn't believe it. She didn't hurt him but she sure let him know that she wasn't putting up with his crap! And then today.. I was sitting at the kitchen table.. enjoying some coffee.. Gabby was under my chair and again... Jackson came up to the table and this time she smacked him really hard on his foot with her paw..She did scratch him a little bit.. She was sticking up for herself. I can't get mad at her for that being Jackson drives her crazy and scares her every day. He didn't cry or anything.. instead he made it worse when he yelled at her. She is the only cat I have ever had that has actually attacked someone.. Normally I would be upset at an animal for coming after my kids.. but in this case.. I don't blame her one bit.
Well.. I need to get started.. I am going to be make up free today and playing around this house!
And this is what is going to help me keep going!!
