Sleepy...

I can't believe its 130am. Time has flew by tonight and before I know it.. the alarm will be going off so I can drag my ass out of bed to get Jackson ready for school. BTW.. we are not decorating for Christmas this early... but we did hang some twinkle lights today!

I sure wish I could sleep better than I do. I don't know if my body will ever get the right amount of sleep where I wake up feeling great. It rarely happens anymore.. I think it might have more to do with getting older than it does anything else! It was hard to drag my ass out of bed this morning. I did and I was at the stove 5 minutes later cooking Jackson breakfast. I feel like I will be a super shitty mom if I allow him to eat cereal in the morning before school.. BUT I think its going to come to that some mornings. I am not going to kid myself and say I will get up and make bacon and eggs every morning. But more times than not, I want a hot breakfast for him. The last thing I want is him in the classroom not concentrating on anything other than what time lunch is. And now he is trying to get me to let him eat the school lunch. He said its looked so good the past few days so I am considering it for a few days a week. I really don't want him eating that food. I know its all processed food and who knows how safe it is. But.. its now a small consideration. 

Husby did make it home a few hours early!! I was pretty bitchy about him working on his day off. I miss him so much so when he can be home.. I want him here. Once he came home, I wasn't doing anything. Sooooo.. the house is a mess and will just have to wait on me till tomorrow. Normally I don't have a messy house but I just didn't feel like doing it today. Plus this back to school schedule is messing me all up! We keep adjusting it.. Monday we started off at 7am.. Today it was 7:15 am when we got up.. and tomorrow I don't plan on crawling out of the bed till 730. We are just experimenting with what works for us. I have went back to sleep every day and that just screws me all up. Tomorrow I plan on staying up and working around this house. I might need a nap in the afternoon but I am staying up in the morning and getting all the housework done! 

I did take.. 

Gabby for a walk today. Its funny to watch peoples faces when I walk the cat around the neighborhood. Gabby walks really well on a leash or lead and a harness. Just in case you try this.. be sure to take the walk on a quiet street and always pick up a cat that is walking when a car passes. It freaks them out and it could be dangerous.

I made a quick casserole dinner.. and was done! We worked on Jacksons homework and called it a night. Actually Jackson went to bed and Scott and I watched

We got a lot of good laughs! This is extremely adult content in this show so the kids need to be sleeping before putting it on. We really enjoyed it! He is so funny and we get so many giggles from this little guy!

Once we came upstairs we noticed..  

Romeo on the nightstand. Thats not unusual but.. check out the lamp. This kitty cat will knock anything off the table to make room for his big ass. This time he managed to knock the lamp almost all the way off. If it wasn't for the wall.. it would have hit the floor. This little habit of his has caused drinks to get spilled, items to get lost, its starting to be a problem! 

Its about time for some sleep.. Husby is snoring like a bear so I don't know how easy its going to be.. but going to bed!

Look who is 6 MONTHS OLD TODAY!!

Sweet Romeo turns 6 months old today!!! I don't think anyone knows how in love with this kitty cat. He is so freaking awesome.. I really think we should have named him Mellow because he is really laid back and relaxed. 

In honor of this BIG day in the Jaggers household I thought I would share some of our favorite Romeo pictures!!

Mirror Mirror..

I thought with you the pictures I got late last night. Romeo has been in the mirror before but I don't think he realized it was him.. till last night! 

He fell in love with himself in that mirror last night! It was so sweet! 

Today was pretty big for him. He is maturing and Gabby is in heat right now.. and he was trying! So thats a big big deal.. Thats what his job is.. to be a daddy to many many many kittens.. thinking that is going to make him a very happy boy! =) It will take a little while for him to figure it all out.. but fingers crossed it happens soon! I can't wait for a houseful of kittens! 

I have had more kitten questions than any other questions.. we all want kittens I guess! I will be sure to get working on the kitty website because I know it needs some love and to be updated. If you are interested in a kitten.. you might want to email me to get on the waiting list. Hopefully we will get on a little more of a schedule with the kittens! As I said I plan on getting another female at the first of the year from the same breeder that I got Romeo from! We are just going to keep building it up!

Sleepy Night.

Ok.. is this seriously not the cutest cat ever!? He is so freaking precious. Everyone of us in this house can't stop kissing him.. husby included! He's so sweet and is very affectionate. But he is starting to become more of the alpha male and its pretty fun watching him try to be boss of all the animals when he is so little!

Too Tired To Keep Going

Well, after sitting in traffic for 3 1/2 hours due to a very serious wreck.. we decided to just get a room because we wouldn't have made it till 5 or 6 am and we just didn't see the point in that. It was better to get off the road and get some rest. Scott came right in and fell right to sleep. I got the kitty all set up, took a quick shower, plugged all the electronics in to charge and now I am getting ready to get some sleep. 

Its been a long drive so far. The wreck really ate up so much time.. We thought we were going to be there till 7am or so.. but I am more than thankful to be in a hotel room right now. We found a brand new Motel 6 because they are pet friendly.. and after we went through all that drama with the valet and sneaking Romeo into the last hotel.. it was nice to just walk in with him here. 

The room is actually the nicest room in a Motel 6 that I have been in. And Check out Romeo.. 

 How freaking sweet is that!? 

I am so excited about seeing our family and picking up the kids. Its going to be a great summer.. I am going to smother them in hugs and kisses!! 

Anyway, I hope you all had a great Friday... I am going to bed!

Good Morning

Hello.. Shocked I am up??!! Ha, it won't last too long! I have been up since about 730. The kitten woke me because he wanted some food. I got up seen Scott for a few minutes, got Romeo fed, and I am in bed listening to it sprinkle outside. Its suppose to really start raining about 10am and its suppose to last all day. I have already been outside and got the cushions of the patio set and put the umbrella down so if it gets windy, its not destroyed.

I did sleep good last night. Thank God. I am sure that in a few minutes, I will lay back down for a while. I am not going to start off today anything like yesterday. Its so rare that I have a bad day becuasse I don't work outside the home so I don't really feel like I should complain... I know what a blessing my life is. BUT.. Yesterday was nuts.. from not sleeping due to both the kitten and Gabby...tripping going down the steps, spilling my coffee in the kitchen, and then I tripped on my computer cord and thought I had broke it. That was all within 30 minutes of waking up yesterday. Crazy huh? I think I should have just stayed in bed. The day didn't go that bad but I was exhausted all day long.

Ive read a few of my emials already today and a few of you want to know what I am feeding the kitten. Well, first off. I got this kitten at 2 months old. Barley 2 months. I know he looks big for a kitten thats only 2 months old but hes just a baby. Hes barely weaned. In fact, he only has 2 teeth. I was the same as most people who have seen him. I thought due to his size, he could eat dry food and even a little wet. That was just not how its been. He didn't seem like he knew what to do with any of the food and wanted to try to nurse on Willow and Gabby. Thats not happening so we had to figure something else out. He has been eating baby food. Beef, Turkey, and Pork. Yesterday he had 2 jars total. You can tell that he just don't know what to do beside lick the food. He can't  pick up food yet so the baby food is working best for now. I do take some Carniation Instant Milk and add it to some very blan kitten food that is thinned out but until he gets some teeth and gets to be a few weeks older, his main source of nutrition is baby food. As I said, he sleeps on one of my nightstands and his little plate with the baby food is right beside him. Hes like a baby.. he wants to eat in the middle of the night and I don't always want to wake up... so I keep it close to where he is sleeping. He ate a whole jar while I was sleeping.. so this morning he was ready for some more! He looks like a little marshmellow.. I think its the fur making him look bigger but he was the largetst male of the litter. Michael was playing with him last night.. and it was really cute. Michael thought he looked big for a kitten too! But in this house, if you don't like cats and kittens.. your really not welcome here. The cats own the place and pretty much own us!

I will be working around the house today and maybe running a few errands. I know I need to get more baby food today.. but Scott will hopefully be home around lunch time. If its raining, there won't be a ton of customers anyway. I don't think we have any plans but I do want to take him to that furniture store that Michael and I went to last week. But staying in and cuddling up might be ok too! Oh and I want to go vote later for the Primarys. Yep.. got to do that. The polls are open early to late so I am sure I get there in time.

Anyway, I just wanted to say good morning and let you know things started out much better around here today. I am going to lay back, watch tv, and hopefully doze back off to the sound of the rain.

We Have Named Him!!

For weeks now we have been trying to figure out a name for our newest member of the Jaggers Family.. We have come up with Italian names, exotic names, cute names, but wait no longer.. we have finally settled on a name that seems to really suit this little guy!!

He is such a lover!! He cuddles right up to me.. right up to the girls - Gabby & Willow - so it seems to be the right name for him!

I know it wasn't on the list.. I was very very very close to naming him

Fancy Pants - Bombay - Jaggers

but we just felt Romeo was a better match!

Thank you to all you guys who sent in your suggestions!!! I loved all the names and I might use just one for the next kitty we get!
