New House Tour | Indiana | → Video!

Hello friends! How is your Thursday going!? Mine has been so productive. :) So as you can see, I am finally sharing our new house tour. I debated on doing this for a long time. Should I share our home. Should I share the outside? Well after really thinking about it, I decided on just going ahead and showing you our home. I am not sharing our address or even the city. Here's a peek inside.......hope you enjoy! 

Scott found this home when he was up here before we were. I wasn't really sure about the house, the location and the neighborhood. However, God blessed me...us. Because after living here for a few weeks now, I really love the house, the area and yes....even the neighborhood. This little friendly neighborhood is in the middle of nowhere really and I actually feel secure here. My attitude over this house and area has truly improved. I had to really think about what mattered to me. I probably could live in a box under the bridge and be happy knowing I am in the same area as my children. It's been a long time coming and I don't hate Indiana any longer. I might be a little bitchy in the heart of winter but I am really working hard to focus on what's good. And being with my kids is soooooo good. I don't think I will ever move away again. Nope. Thats over. This is home now and I say that with an actual smile on my face.

Hellooooo!

Good Morning! I am just waking up trying to figure out what the day is going to hold! Of course its going to be more unpacking.. but I am pretty close to being done. I mainly need to work on getting Jackson's room organized and cleaned today. He's done a pretty good job of unpacking his own stuff but I need to get in there and finish it up. He's leaving on Wednesday but will be back at the end of July. Zane will still be here for a few weeks so I still want to get it finished. Yesterday I worked on cleaning out the garage and husby's closet. It has been just a big job on this move. I don't know why it seems harder.. maybe its because we are older and both Scott and I tend to get tired pretty quick. I just want all of this over so we can start to enjoy the summer. We won't have long before we are heading to Louisiana to take Zane back and also to exchange Brittany and Jackson. Gosh.. School is going to start before long and its going to suck waking up to the alarm clock again...grrrrrrrrrrr!

Waking Up....

Sleeping in the new house still hasn't been easy for me. Idk.. but I have woke up pretty early every day since we have moved in. Today however, I was a little more lucky and slept until 11am. And straight to the coffee I went! You know I didn't loose the coffee pot box! It was unpacked first! But I was up at 7...8..and 10 due to the cats meowing. I am probably going to go fix Romeo and then at least he will shut up. So today I got up and made him an apt to be neutered on the 28th.  Yesterday Brittany and I  had to go get Willow from the Vet..And it was over a 2 hr ride one way. I was still using my old Vet which was close to an hour away from our old house but even further with the new house. It was a very long drive and I probably would have done anything to not drive that far yesterday but I didn't really have a choice. 

Beat up, Broken & Exhausted

Its late and I need sleep but I thought I would stop by and say hello before I have another crazy day tomorrow.  So tonight we FINALLY got totally moved into the new house. We have nothing at the old place now and we will not be going back. Scott and I was out to midnight getting the last items...including the fish and then returning the Uhal and coming home. We both were so sore and tired on the ride home that I seriously think we might have got a hotel if the kids were not here. I didn't know how we were going to make it over 1.5 hours but somehow we kept moving along and finally got home. The garage is super full and there is TONS AND TONS of things to get put up but its all here with us now! Tomorrow is another crazy busy day and I probably won't be blogging until later in the afternoon if any. I have to go get Willow from the Vet which is over 2 hours from here and then I have to go by the post office and I really need to run to the grocery store. Fun.. Fun.. but who knows about the shopping. That might have to wait, depending how tired I am. I know Scott is totally exhausted too and just needs to rest. I couldn't figure out why this move was so hard on us. The other times seemed so much easier. Husby told me " We are getting old."  He's right.. Today I realized that I don't just have 1 bad knee, leg and ankle.. I have two. Yep.. and it sucks so much that I am actually considering trying to get a new knee that will work better and last forever so I don't have to be in so much pain. I seriosuly feel beat up, broken, and exhausted. And I should point out, our kids have been GREAT about helping but they have young legs and lots of energy! Anyway, its been a very long few days. Ohhh get this.. remember me bitching about the neighbors yorkies barking at 5-6 am waking me every morning?? Well one of my new neighbors has chickens and roosters right in his back yard and they don't wake me like those dogs did. Go figure..I still don't think I really like living in a neighborhood opposed to a country house but I am just going to have to deal with it. Most of the neighbors here don't even park in their garages.. Nope.. Instead they have all their stuff out there.. open up the garages and sit outside and watch everything going on. I'm serious.. we had about 5 families watchig everything we did when we were moving in. Hummmmmmm.....Well, they can just watch away.. the good thing about this house is, we live the back of the house and can't been seen through the front so we do get some privacy. This house is huge and I have no idea how I am going to keep up with it. Its 3000 sq ft and its going to be a bitch to keep clean. Maybe we should really consider getting some part time help. Idk. Well I am so tired.. its time for bed! We can catch up another time!

Getting Moved!

Hello Friends and Happy Fathers Day! I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday. I know things have been quiet around here.. but I have been moving the past few days and I am totally exhausted. Today Scott is over at the old house finishing getting things packed up and cleaned. The tv and internet guy just left so all the kids are on game boxes. Actually its pretty nice because after 2 days with no internet.. my kids were going crazy.. Now I don't even know they are in the house! Which is also nice because I have so much to do! I have been working all around the house and now just taking a break for a few minutes. I am working on the kitchen.. Well what is " to be the kitchen " because check it out.. 

Its a total mess and I hate it. Hopefully by later tonight it will look much much better than it does now. But in a while Scott is going to be home with the Uhal and we are going to have to unpack it and probably take it back afterwards. I am already exhausted. I will be happy though because that means everything is here.. and I just have to get it sorted and put it up, which will take weeks to finish. 

But we are happy to be moved! I'll try to get things back to normal around here pretty fast but I have lots to do and I am very tired!

Inside of the New House! [ Video]

Hello friends! Just so you guys know.. the kitten is still alive and so far so good. Fingers Crossed that it lives and grows up just fine! 

So yesterday we finally got the key to the new house! If you'd like a tour of the inside check out the video below! 

I am so excited to move in! We will be doing the biggest part of the move on Friday and finishing up over the weekend! I am so ready to get out of the house and city we are in! Time for a new chapter! (:

♥ Our New Home! ♥

Scott did it.. He had his mind set on this house and we got it!!! We will be moving as soon as we get back from Louisiana! I'm serious.. the day we are leaving town ( this next Friday ) will be when we can probably move in.. but we have to do our weekend trip to Louisiana and then come back to pack this house up and move. I can't wait!

Weekend In Review..

Hi everyone.. So its 115am here and I should be getting in bed but I am going to get this post done for you guys first! Lets just hope I can stay focused and it doesn't take too long!

Ok.. since I didn't post much this weekend.. I thought I would do a weekend in review with a few pictures..

Starting off. Saturday.. I didn't feel that good.. wasn't in that good of a mood.. was missing my husband from all the hours he was working and was a grump.. all the way around. So in the beginning part of the day, I hung out around the house.. watched tv and waited on him to get home. We actually met up at the grocery store.. where I was getting kitty supplies and was even more of a grump. Scott had invited Michael over for the day because he was spending the weekend alone. So we were trying to figure out what to get for dinner for the 3 of us. We totally could not agree on anything. I ended up just getting the kitty stuff and coming home. Thankfully.. we had things here already to cook so I knew it wouldn't be that big of a deal!

Michael showed up and he and Scott took a hike with the dog to that beautiful creek area in the back yard, then they got busy..

Washing my car.. Giovanni loves to walk all over it..

and with doing that he gets paw prints all over it!

As you can see Michael was helping..

Omg.. I love my car.. Its the nicest car I ever had.. Just looking at it in the pictures makes me happy!

Then they took off to drive it for a few minutes to dry it off and Scott also put some more gas in it for me... That's the one thing that sucks with my car.. is that you have to use the expensive gas or you will mess up the fuel injectors.. and I already know all about that.. So glad he did it this time!

Giovanni has been loving it outside. He has been sleeping in the garage at night and playing outside during the day. I am surprised that he stays in the yard most of the time. He use to run around the other neighborhood like crazy before but now he tends to stick close to home!

Of course Super Cooper was all about playing!!

And how can you say no to that face? BTW.. he was all wet because after his little trip to the creek.. Scott had to give him a quick bath!

By then I had dinner done..

Nothing fancy.. Just chicken and rice.. green beans and some fresh melon cut up..

And we just served ourselves and ate in the living room and watched tv while we ate..

Michael hung out for a while and then when he left.. I put on my pjs and got busy

playing with my babies!

This one is scared of his own shadow.. Can't wait for him to grow out of it!

The kittens are so nervous about Cooper.. Its fun watching them explore him!

Sorry about the red eyes. Just didn't feel like fixing it!

They are such loves!

But Super Cooper knows that they own the house and are very much his boss!!

Late Saturday night I sent out some emails.. chatted with a friend via text and was in bed pretty early.. well around midnight.. My medication was kicking in and I couldn't hold my eyes open!

So to bed I went.

On to Sunday..

I was talking to the guys the night before about how I missed my grandparents and my mom cooking breakfast while I was asleep and waking up to pancakes or some other breakfast item. I mean.. I am sure we can all remember those days.. well now.. I am the one who has to do the cooking if I want breakfast...lunch.. or dinner for that matter.. ( unless of course, we are going out ) ..

And today my husband woke me up to the smell of food. I didn't actually get up.. my dreams kept me under the covers but it wasn't long before he was in the room telling me its time to wake up..

When I got downstairs there was a fresh pot of coffee and..

pancakes waiting on me!!!!

I don't think he realizes how much that meant to me. I grew up with my grandfather making breakfast most of the time and when ever I was with mom or still even now, when I am at moms.. she makes breakfast every day for me and I miss it.. he sure started my day off great with those pancakes.. and they were really good too!

Scott took off in the afternoon to go play golf with Michael so I got busy trying to get most of the fall decorations up..

I know it doesn't look like much.. but I didn't want to over do it. I have a ton of fall decorations and just picked a few for this house. Our other houses were better suited for all the decorations and this one isn't.. so I thought less would be more!

I put some of the cute fake leaves only around 2 of the pillars..

The door is simple..

Another little Scarecrow as you walk up.. Yes.. we need to weed.. and I will be doing that this week.. Remember we just moved in! But we are not planning on doing a lot with the landscape till next spring..

I got my fall flowers hanging and my cute little light up pumpkin on the end of the porch.

I still need to get some real pumpkins but will do that soon!! Didn't feel like going shopping today!

I also came inside and went through our stack of mail and was happy when I read..

that we will get 15 new energy efficient light bulbs for free.. all I had to do is sign up.. thanks to our electric company.. God knows.. we all pay them so much each month that they should do this for everyone.. every where!! There was a little code on the inside of this little pamphlet and I signed up online and they even pay for shipping.. How awesome is that!? Now I am just waiting on them..

I also got busy with a quick dinner.

Scott wanted coconut shrimp..I had a box in the freezer.. that I tossed in the oven..

added some corn and dinner was done. But I couldn't eat it.. It was just too hard for me with that broken tooth. So I ended up eating some...

which I actually like a lot.. and it was softer and easier to eat!

I loved this picture of Willow.. She wouldn't move out of the way for anyone.

She just slept for a few hours on that step! Isn't she growing!?

Scott went upstairs after dinner to lounge and watch Boardwalk Empire.. A great show.. sometime I will try to do a post about it.. I skipped out and opted for a..

warm, relaxing bubble bath instead. That HUGE bathtub of mine is one of the best things about this house. I just love it.. and every night you can find me in there. Its heaven to me.. Truly..

When I got out.. I stayed upstairs and started working more on my closet.. I still have so much to do but I thought I would show you guys some of the progress I am making..

Now.. that huge beautiful bath tub would be to the right of my closet door.. That's one of my bathrobes that you can see on the right that hangs right at the side of the tub.. so that's how close my closet is..

This picture is just walking into my closet..

As you can see.. on the back wall is my bags and purses.. I have even more that I have not brought upstairs yet.. and I have a few real good ones that are stored in boxes instead of hangers.. but I found this was a great way to store my every day purses. The shelf above is for more bags.. such as laptop bags, make up cases, etc. Still have many more of those to get from the garage to the closet too.

On the shelf below my purses is my jeans and also sweats..

 the hanging rack below it is all my tank tops.

To the left of the door is my dress pants an long sleeve shirts.. and shoes on top..

Right when you come in.. is a shelf I keep random things like wallets, and purse organizers and on that hanging shelf is all my short sleeve shirts.. on top is sweaters.

over to the right is my dresses and skirts.. and on top of the shelf is more shoes.

Right at the door is more robes and such..

I still have so much do do.. I want shoe organizers instead of having them on the top racks.. and I will also be color coordinating everything too. But so far this is a big improvement.. I will do a video when I am all done.. but that will be a while before I get to that point! But still happy with the way its turning out!

When I walked out of the bedroom to head back down stairs..

Super Cooper and Willow were waiting on me! Guess she woke up!

Now.. I have only been able to do all these things because of the medication I have been taking. That broken back tooth has been more painful than anything. If I take my antibiotic and my pain medication.. for whatever reason.. it knocks me out.. in minutes. But tonight I manged to just take a 1/2 pain pill and I was able to stay up.. thankfully. I am starting to feel better.. a lot of the swelling has gone down but I am still swollen at the jaw bone and the pain is not as bad anymore. It hurts but at least its bearable now. I still have to go back to the dentist next week to have it fixed.. and I am none too happy about that. I did blur out my acutal Dr and kind of prescription. I just want to be safe. I am not too worried about some junkie breaking in my home for my medication.. Only 4-5 people know where I live now and my mom is the only one who I have given my address to. So yea.. not too worried.. but there are a lot of people out there who get robbed for their medication.. so if you blog be careful if you do show medications.. you never know.  

Well my mom and Don made it to Scotland.. And here is..

their hotel!! OMG.. Gorgeous, is it not? I was really happy that tonight I got to chat with her via facebook chat.. and so did Brittany Belle. They are 5 hrs ahead of my time so right now its 2 am here and 7 am there.. Don is just getting up for work.. He has to work during the day but evenings and weekends will be spent with mom exploring everything around them!

I haven't made a lot of calls lately because I really couldn't talk much but I am so happy that I am feeling better because

I made calls for her and me tonight. Since I haven't been feeling good.. I haven't called my grandmother much last week.. and I felt ok about it because I knew mom was checking on her daily.. but with mom gone.. I had to get back to calling her. Tonight I called her.. and had a great conversation! She laughed a lot.. Yesterday ~ Sunday~  was her sisters 80th birthday!!! She went with my uncle to the birthday party and was telling me all about it! I loved hearing her laugh. I also called my other uncle because he has been feeling really bad too. Both mom and grandma wanted me to call him.. Everyone is trying to get him to get to the Dr. to be taken care of.. Hopefully he will. But I am very thankful that facebook allowed me to connect with my mom across the world free of charge... and also let me check in on my sister.. Since she is alone. I wanted her to know.. if she needs anything.. I am just a phone call away.. Then I talked to both kids.. Brittany was in a really good mood and little Jackson was tired.. and then we chatted via facebook too! What would we do without facebook! Ha!! I was just having a conversation with a couple friends about how I love that my husband is not on facebook but I sure love it.. for many reasons!

Well tomorrow is here already.. not a huge deal to me because on Mondays I normally sleep in. Its a late night for Scott and I always have so much time. Most people would say I sleep in every day.. Not True!! But with that said..
