Vlogmas 2015! → More Lights & December Ipsy ← & → Normal Days @ Home ←

Saturday, December 19, 2015

Hello friends! I hope your weekend is going well. I'm sorry that I haven't been around. It's been busy around here and I simply haven't made the time for something I actually love so much. I am going to work harder at making sure blogging gets back on the schedule! Anyway, I am here today playing catch up sharing 2 different vlogs. Vlogmas or Vlogidays ( last year ) can mean different things to different youtubers and or bloggers. Most of the time it means a daily vlog each day. I am kinda going to go at it in my own way this year. I am hoping to vlog daily but I will sometimes be switching it up! I am not going to announce any changes before hand but instead we will just roll with it together in the moment. So here's to the holidays with some new Vlogmas videos. Hope you enjoy!

February Open Ipsy Bag! | Video |

Saturday, February 21, 2015

Hello friends! I hope you are having a great evening! I am slowly trying to get back into the grove of things since we got back from our trip last night. This video was actually suppose to go live on Friday but I just didn't have the time! Ipsy is a monthly subscription service that gives you normally 5 items along with a cute bag each month for $10. It's one of my favorite subscriptions because I use those little bags for everything! If you want to see what I got this month, enjoy the video.

This months bag is " Ipsy Love" . It's a pink and grey diamond check bag that I actually like a lot! You don't always get everything they share on the website in each bag. I have heard others talk about this often and it has happened to me too. Some months are better than others but for $10 it's always a hit no matter what comes in the little bag!

If you are interested in signing up for ipsy, you can use this link right here to get started! It's by far one of my favorite monthly subscriptions ever! If you are new here, take a second to subscribe so you don't miss any new videos! :)

January 2015 Open Ipsy Bag! | Video |

Wednesday, January 14, 2015

Hello friends! I am back today with my January Ipsy Bag update. Ipsy is a monthly subscription service that gives you normally 5 items along with a cute bag each month for $10. It's one of my favorite subscriptions because I use those little bags for everything! If you want to see what I got this month, enjoy the video. More pictures and links to all the products below. :) Happy Wednesday!

If you are looking for any of the products mentioned...here they are!

This is a highly natural day moisturizer that provides ample hydration and helps bring back a fresher & happier looking skin appearance. Made with collagen-producing peptides, super-hydrating hyaluronic acid, natural cucumber, aloe, antioxidant panthenol (Vitamin B), Vitamin C & E and a natural anti-aging botanical complex of maqui berry, licorice root, ginko leaf, grape seed and hickory bark. It will be neat testing this out and seeing how well it works on my dry skin!

Don't just stop and smell the roses - Wear their beauty on your lips. You will fall in love with the Velvet Rose Lipgloss. It's radiance and lustrous consistency makes your lips not just look but smell as fabulous as the classic rose. The lipgloss is made with Sacha Inchi, so it’s naturally high in antioxidants, omega 3, vitamins A and E. This color is in nude cocoa and perfect for a natural look.

(MALIN+GOETZ) Mojito Lip Balm is as soothing to the lips as it is to the senses. Flavored with (MALIN+GOETZ) Mojito, this lip balm is scientifically blended to restore and replenish. This hydrating lip gel easily integrates for daily maintenance, prevention and treatment of dry, irritated lips. Color and paraben free. I think this would be perfect for Jackson or Scott who tends to have more issues with dry lips than I do.

An incredibly innovative formula that pushes natural makeup and mineral color to new bounds. Rich, lasting, creaseless eye shadows are infused with coconut water for a velvety, cream-like finish. Formulated without: Phthalates, parabens, carmine, beeswax, lanolin, mineral oils, propylene glycol, petroleum and FD& C colors (along with other nasties you do not want on your skin). No animal testing. Gluten-free, 100% vegan and cruelty-free. This is such a pretty shade. It comes across a little darker in the picture. I am sure I will be using this in the coming weeks.

This Mechanical eyeliner has a smooth formula for easy application. The perfect mechanical eyeliner that you can smudge for a smoky look or use to define your eyes. Storm is a slate gray color that is perfect for any weekday when you don't want to use a harsh black liner.

This months bag is suppose to be for a fresh start. Its blue on one side, cream on the other with a coral zipper. I use these little bags for so many things. Its one of my favorite parts of subscribing to ipsy.

If you are interested in signing up for ipsy, you can use this link right here to get started! It's by far one of my favorite monthly subscriptions ever! If you are new here, take a second to subscribe so you don't miss any new videos! :)

November Ipsy Bag Update!

Friday, November 28, 2014

Hello friends, I hope you getting along great with your night. I thought I would take this time to share the contents of the November Ipsy Bag. Its a busy time for us since we still have company so please understand that is why I did not include my mini reviews for the month before. If I really like them, I will just show them in November favorites. :)

Here's what came in my November Ipsy Bag...

I saw a brush sent out with some of these bags in November. I wish it would have been included in my little bag but it wasn't. :( I still love Ipsy though and plan on having this monthly subscription for a long time! Let me know what came in your November Bags!

Ipsy Bag Update! September Reviews & Open October Ipsy Bag - Video -

Friday, November 7, 2014

Hello friends! I hope you are having a great evening! I am back tonight with my Ipsy Bag update. I have cut a lot of my subscription boxes out but this one made the cut! :) If you want to hear about some of the reviews from the September Ipsy Bag, along with the October Ipsy Bag, enjoy the video below!

More about mu October 2014 Ipsy Bag!

The October Ipsy Bag theme was Beauty Candy. I am not so sure about all of that but I did get some interesting things to try out.

October Ipsy Bag:

City Color Be Matte Lipstick: I am a sucker for a good matte lipstick that is not too drying. And I am also a huge fan of nude lipsticks so I am hoping this will quickly become a favorite through fall. This one promises no dryness because it is enhanced with Vitamin E and is also very long lasting.

Épicé International Purifying Exfoliant This claims that it is a unique exfoliant which removes excess dirt and dead skin cells all while activating collagen production and hydrating your skin. Thankfully I don't have very sensitive skin and I do love a good exfoliant so this is another item I am excited to try.

ModelCo VOLUMEYES Extreme Black Mascara: This mascara states that the  intensely black, volumizing mascara separates, coats and curls each lash to voluptuous perfection. One coat and lashes are defined. Two coats and lashes are even more luscious, curled and dramatic. I have my doubts about this one so I will for sure test it out and see how well it works.

KISS iENVYbyKISS Lashes: I love Kiss Lashes...always have. These premium eyelashes made with 100% human remy hair. iENVY’s top 5 bestselling eyelashes include a mini glue that stays on until you take it off, but does not leave residue....so they say! I don't wear a ton of false lashes but they are perfect for the holidays that are coming upon us when I will want that little extra touch of fake lashes. Can't wait to try them out!

Patagonia Body Butter: This body butter claims it's enriched with plant emollients, herbal extracts and vitamins, this ultra-rich creamy body butter provides relief from dry, rough skin. It smells pretty good and will probably feel amazing on my hands and feet after a long bath.

I will be back next month with my thought on the October bag as well as share my thoughts on the new November products. I love Ipsy. I love that they always send a bag along with 4-5 new products for you to test out and then buy on discount if you like them. Its a simply monthly subscription bag that cost $10 per month....and I think its a great deal! I always find new products in my cute little bag that I have never heard of let alone tried. So its great to get to try some new things! If you are interested in getting subscribed, click right here and you can get started! I would love to hear what came in your October Ipsy Bag if you are a subscriber....so be sure to let me know where to find your blog post and videos or just leave me a comment if you feel like sharing!

Subscription Box Update! Open Ipsy & Goode Box! | Video |

Tuesday, October 14, 2014
Hello friends! I hope you are having a great afternoon. Its been a cold rainy day here in the Carolin's and its hard to find any motivation! I am back today sharing a subscription box update with you guys letting you know what monthly subscription boxes I have decided to let go of and which ones I am keeping. I really just have sooooo many samples and its not easy using them up. I don't really feel giving the products the time they deserve with reviews and such having so many coming in. So I am cutting back and these videos will start to include more and more reviews of the previous months items and a much more in dept blog post for each.
I have been running late with a lot of stuff....so this is these are my September boxes. Stay tuned for Octobers Open Box Videos coming up soon!
Thanks for watching! Do you subscribe to any monthly subscription boxes? I would love to hear your favorites! I am seriously thinking about subscribing to Try the World a $45 a month box that brings you foods and treats from all over the world. I really want to try it once at least. I am betting you will be seeing a new video in the coming weeks for my first box! See....cancelling some gave me back a little money that I can now apply to the next one! :)
Have a beautiful and blessed day. I should be back with another video later this evening...stay tuned for another video later this evening.

Battle of the Boxes! Ipsy vs Birchbox vs Goodebox! | VIDEO |

Tuesday, June 24, 2014

Hello friends! I am back with a different video of sorts. I normally post subscription boxes in separate videos and blog posts but I thought it would be fun to compare them this month! So there are 3 total. The Birchbox., Ipsy. and even the Goode Box! If you want to see which one I liked best of all...enjoy the video! More pictures and info below!

More about the subscription services:

Ipsy is a monthly subscription service for $10 a month. There use to be a waiting list but I think you can get subscribed right away now. This is more beauty oriented than the others and normally comes with 4-5 items.

The June Ipsy Bag came with a lot of nice things this month. They included a new kind of BB Cream, a Bombshell Mascara in black. Also included was a electric blue liquid liner and a NYX Butter Gloss. And there was a hair product for beachy wavy hair. Every ipsy box is actually a bag that always contains the cutest little makeup bags.

Birchbox is another $10 a month subscription service. This box contains beauty, grooming and life style products that normally comes with 5 + items.

The June Birchbox was contained some unique Shampoo, oil and conditioner, a sample of Aloe Source face cream. Also included was a pretty coal Laqua & Co. lip gloss..the box smelled so amazing from the Perfume sample that was also sent. I think the most interesting item in the box was the Liz Earle Facial Scrub and cloth. Its in that pretty blue box and I can't wait to try it. :)

Goode Box is a subscription service that you can test out more natural beauty and health items. These items are all natural, unique hand picked items but this one cost $18 a month or you can change up your shipping schedule to bi monthly if you wish!

The June Goode box. This contains more natural organic products. This box has some hand and body cream, makeup wipes, sun screen, a kinda petroleum jelly alternative, and natural deodorant. There was also  a eye shadow pigment.

If you want to see which one won the battle....you will have to watch the video above!

Happy Tuesday!
