Week in Review with 2 VLOGS w/ To Do's & Blessings April 13 -20, 2015

Hello friends! I hope you are having a wonderful Monday. As many of you know... I post a week in review recapping what happened over the week & weekend. Its something that I have been doing off and on for years. Its just a simple way to give you guys a glimpse into our week. I have changed up the vlogging schedule where I will be uploading a Day in the life vlog Monday...as always and then another on Thursday. Monday's vlog will cover Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the previous week and Thursdays vlog will be for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Actually I might be adding more vlogs in during the week...depending on how much I vlog. This time there is 2 ditl vlogs! :)

Oddly enough this past week, the beginning was so much better than the weekend. It works out that way sometimes I guess. If you haven't seen it yet, here is the ditl vlog from the beginning of the week.

Of course, I don't show you every moment but this vlog is a bit long. :) I tend to ramble so if you want to escape your Monday for an hour or so.. enjoy this new vlog. ↓ Sorry for the lack of editing in some parts...I was really tired.

Around here the weather this past week has been nuts. One minute it has been bright and beautiful and then the next minute the lights are flickering from all the rain and thunderstorms. I love the rain but it has been a little harder getting out and doing things or even finding motivation to get things done around the house. I would rather enjoy a cup of tea and a good book instead of doing what I should be doing around the house. Speaking of good books, I recently got another new read → The Residence ← by Kate Andersen Brower which is amazing. I haven't made it very far through the book but so far it is a great read. It's been so fun reading about the inner workings of the White House. I will totally have to do a giveaway on this book because it has quickly became a favorite! Also in our latest vlog I talk a lot about Oreo the outside kitty cat who lives all over the neighborhood. Thank you guys for all your love and support over this kitty cat. One part of me wants to take it to a no kill shelter and the other part of me knows that it's not my cat and it's not my decision. I probably won't do anything but feed it.. which I know a few of you guys feel  like I shouldn't be doing. However, I just hate to see it hungry...and it will meow non stop  at the patio door wanting its meals. So I don't know...time will tell but I appreciate all the love for Oreo!

The week consisted of meeting new friends while I was out and about with Scott. That beautiful Macaw was so chatty and fun to hang out with. I worked online while the rain came down on other days. It's been a weird week to say the least. I got a bunch of stuff in the mail...some I will be sharing in a upcoming haul but I had share the April Ispy Bag because I love it so much!! It's adorable and I plan on keeping this one! Sometimes I give them away to friends and family but this Bohemian bag is right up my alley! Another beauty item that showed up this week was a new Bare Minerals starter kit. I want to give it a try again....years ago I used it but didn't stick with it. I  thought for spring and summer days at home, this might be nicer than a full face of foundation. I don't think it will hold up in the heat well but maybe with that primer it will. I also decided to order the matte foundation to see if I like it better than the original. So far I am enjoying it though! :) I plan on filming a get ready with me featuring the Bare Minerals products in the upcoming weeks. 

This weeks to do’s 

• Figure out what to buy mom for Mothers Day. She is a wonderful mom whom I adore so I can't mess up! ;) Plus we got Mothers Day around the corner too. 
• Water plants. 
• Groom all the kitty cats one day this week. 
• Pre record as many videos as I can just to make things easier. 
• Clean the house on Wednesday. For the first time in years I have switched the day I do my weekly cleaning. Not sure how it's going to work out but I think it might be easier that way. I still have to do a big pick up on Monday after all of us being home over the weekend but trying something new this week. 
• Get my water intake up. I still don't really like it but I'm trying. 
• Clean up the DVR...a weekly job!
• Plan and roadmap the week out. See...I am running behind with so much. 
• Schedule a manicure and pedicure. I am sure my nail lady is going to hate what I did to my nails but it was time for a break.
• Make more time to read.
• Figure out what spring polish I want to paint my nails with. When they are shorter I don't mind color. 
• Try to get to bed earlier. 
• Dump videos and photos from my phone to make room. 
• Send Lacis card out...sorry sis! I forgot to get it into the mail this morning. It's coming though!
• Get a hair cut. 
• Try to not let negative energy effect me as much. 
• Fertilize the plants around the house. 
• Catch up on Emails. 
• Call some nursery's around town for some new lavender plants. Why are they so hard to find? Normally it's a easy plant to find but this year it has proved to be challenging. 
• Play a board game with Jackson. Hes needs some mom time. 
• Still need to clean my makeup brushes. 
• Finish Thank you notes. 
• Update laptop with driver updates and such. 

Little Blessings

♥ Jackson did great at his golf lesson and seems to like it...which made me happy. 

♥ Our new fish are doing well so far. I thought for sure that one was dead the other day but it was just sleeping I guess. I love watching them swim around. 

♥  Hearing the thunder and watching it rain. It's a blessing within itself. 

♥ Hearing both kids giggle always puts my ♥ in the right place and makes me proud they are such loving happy kids. 

♥ Speaking of kids, our oldest daughter and her family drove down to Florida a few days ago. Saying we are worried about them is a understatement but I was very happy to know they made it safe and sound. 

♥ Watching Romeo run and play. There is something magical about that cat and watching him in full motion is a blessing for sure.

♥ Talking to my sister and girl friends is such a blessing. They are such strong amazing women. I couldn't be more grateful for them.
