What my High Heels Are Hiding | Video, Corresponding Blog Post & Giveaway! |

Hello friends! I hope your having a wonderful day. I am back with a more spring like post. So many of us love our high heels, sandals...all our pretty spring and summer footware. However, it can be hard on our feet, uncomfortable and uneasy to walk if we do not take a few precautions. Not every tip I share in the video below will make you feel like you are walking on clouds but hopefully it will help you get through the day or night a little easier! I hope you find some of these tips helpful and just because I love you guys...there is more information along with a giveaway below!

For some women no matter what you do... it will be painful to wear heels. You have to make sure you are trimming your toe nails ( because yes, they will make those high heels or even peep toes hurt if they are long. ) and finding the right size. So many of us do not really wear the true size we should. A lot of times I get a little big larger of a heel thinking they will be more comfortable but they don't wear right and they tend to slip off. So get good pedicure and the next time you go shopping, do your best to find the exact size heel you need. And then tweak them to feel more comfortable and easier to walk in.. Here are my favorites to make that happen!

Heel Liners: These little strips are life savers for me. Sometimes you might have one foot a little larger than the other so one heel will slip in and out while walking. These stop that and they prevent blisters. AMAZING! For me, its that way with many heels because my feet are so narrow and small. I loooove these so much and have them in basically all of my high heels. They actually push your foot forward just a bit to ensure a more snug fit.

Ball of Foot Cushions: These little guys work so well in supporting the ball of your foot which is where all the pressure is when wearing high heels. I find these work the best in the high high heels realizing a lot of pressure and preventing your foot from sliding forward.

Foot Covers: These little bad boys are amazing to wear with almost any kind of heel or even with a pair of flats. A lot of time closed toed shoes will rub your toes raw. These keep that from happening. They have all kinds of styles and they also keep your foot from slipping around.

Shoe Cushions: These come in all shapes and sizes. I love the peep toe full length cushions. These are great for sandals, flat, even your Nikes. I would be lost without these. I have them in so many of my shoes and heels because they make not only the ball of my foot feel better but also my heel too. ( Please keep in mind that cushions or heel liners will make your loose shoes fit snugger but if they are already tight, they will be very painful to wear. )

Also  the smaller your feet the 'higher' proportionally a heel is. So for me with my size 5 feet , a 4 inch heel makes my foot steeper, and my weight more on my toes that it would for a friend in size 8. The smaller your shoe size, the more treacherous those 4" and higher heels are My little size 5 feet just can't bend that far! Not to mention the pressure that puts on the ball of your feet. So keep that in mind when shopping for high heels.

Another tip I do with my shoes in the winner...especially high heels is to add some non-slip shoe grips to the bottoms. Most heels or dress shoes don't have much traction on them so this is a big help to keep from busting your butt!

Don't forget that hairspray is a huge help.. like I mentioned in the video!
